        1st Race:     225. The Sringeri Plate - (About) 1100 Metres.   
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms). 
        
                       HOLLYOAKS  (S. Babu) sustained an injury on  right 
                  hind cannon.
        
                       Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of MAN UNITED, was 
                  fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive and improper use  of 
                  the  whip on his mount during the race  (2nd  infringe-
                  ment).
        
        2nd Race:     226. The Badravathi Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.   
         9 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 30, 5 & 6 years old. 
        
                       Jockey  A.  Ashhad Asbar, the rider of  THRILL  OF 
                  HOPE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting `in' and  caus-
                  ing  interference to CONSORT KING (Md. Shafiq)  on  his 
                  inside approaching the 900 Metres.
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b m GIRL NEXT DOOR. 
        
        3rd Race:     227. The Chamarajanagar Plate -  (About) 1200  
         9 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70.
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  not  using tongue strap on his charge  BILLY  BLACKJACK  
                  for  the  use of which prior permission  had  been  ob-
                  tained.   Subsequently  tongue strap was put  on  BILLY 
                  BLACKJACK before the horse left the paddock. 
        
                       Jockey  A.  Imran Khan, the rider of  CIBONEY  was 
                  fined  Rs.2,000/- for shifting `in' and causing  inter-
                  ference  to EXCELLENT SPEED (S. Mubarak) on his  inside 
                  approaching the 1000 Metres.
        
                       ADORABELLA (D. Gnaneshwar) was drifted `out' under 
                  pressure during the final stages of the race.  
        
        4th Race:     228. The Stewards Trophy - (About) 1600 Metres.  
        11 Runners    Horses rated 80 and above.
        
                       OUR LITTLE SAVAGE (D. Gnaneshwar) sustained a  cut 
                  injury on right hock. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g ROYAL AMBASSADOR. 
                      
        5th Race:     229. The Magadi Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses  
         8 Runners    rated 20 to 50.
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah was  fined  Rs.500/- 
                  for  failing  to produce the declared  colours  at  the 
                  scales  in  respect of his  charge  RETRO  QUEEN(Melvyn 
                  Maseyk).   Subsequently `all black'  emergency  colours 
                  were permitted to be used. 
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah was  fined  Rs.500/- 
                  for  not  using pecifier blinkers on his  charge  RETRO 
                  QUEEN  for the use of which prior permission  had  been 
                  obtained.   Subsequently pecifier blinkers was  put  on 
                  RETRO QUEEN before the horse left the paddock.
        
                       BRAVE  ARJUN (A. Ashhad Asbar) refused to raise  a 
                  fluent  gallop after jumping out of the gates  and  ran 
                  detached.   In view of its behaviour trainer Mr.  Samar 
                  Singh  was  informed that he must not  accept  with  it 
                  again until its behaviour improved to the  satisfaction 
                  of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a  race 
                  day on the race track. 
        
                       SUPER SONIC (C. Krishnan) burst its blood  vessels 
                  after  the race.  Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was  informed 
                  to  produce a Fitness Certificate from the  Club's  Ve-
                  terinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
                       ADAIR  (Khurshad  Alam) pulled up lame  after  the 
                  race on both fore.  Trainer Mr. S. Britto was  informed 
                  that  he  must produce a Fitness Certificate  from  the 
                  Club's  Veterinary  Officer before  accepting  with  it 
                  again. 
        
                       Jockey  Khurshad  Alam, the rider  of  ADAIR,  was 
                  fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out  CINDY 
                  GIRL (Vijay Kumar), CLAP AND RUN (Md. Shafiq) and SUPER 
                  SONIC  (C.  Krishnan)  on his outside  soon  after  the 
                  start. 
        
                       After  the  race, the  Club's  Veterinary  Officer 
                  reported  that on examination it was observed that  the 
                  left  fore  shoe of BRAVE ARJUN (A. Ashhad  Asbar)  had 
                  apparently splayed during the race.
        
        6th Race:    230. The Agumbe Trophy  - (About) 1400 Metres.   
        11 Runners    Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms).
        
                       Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.500/- for  not 
                  declaring the weight in respect of his charge  SERENITY 
                  NOW. 
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Warren Singh was fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  not  declaring the weight in respect of his charge  FLY 
                  FREE.
        
                       SERENITY NOW (S. Rajesh) refused to raise a fluent 
                  gallop after jumping out of the gates and ran detached. 
                  In  view  of its behaviour trainer Mr. S.  Narredu  was 
                  informed  that he must not accept with it  again  until 
                  its  behaviour  improved  to the  satisfaction  of  the 
                  Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day  on 
                  the race track. 
        
                       Jockey  B. Prakash, the rider of VALIANT BAY,  was 
                  fined  Rs.2,000/- for shifting `in' and causing  inter-
                  ference  to ROYAL AMBER (A. Imran Khan) which  in  turn 
                  passed it on to MIND ME (Samuel Fargeat) on the  inside 
                  before passing the red marker post.
        
                       Jockey  A. Imran Khan, the rider of  ROYAL  AMBER, 
                  was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the  whip 
                  on his mount during the race (2nd infringement). 
        
        7th Race:   231. The Makalidurga Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.  
        10 Runners    Horse rated 20 to 50, 5 & 6 years old.
        
                       Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Samar  Singh 
                  to withdraw CHAILA BABU on veterinary grounds as it was 
                  suffering  from  colic. He was informed  that  he  must 
                  produce  a Fitness Certificate from the Club's  Veteri-
                  nary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
                       As Jockey S. Chandrashekar was certified medically 
                  unfit  after his ride in the 6th race,  permission  was 
                  granted  to  trainer  Mr. Sharat  Kumar  to  substitute 
                  Jockey  S. Babu to ride RAIN MAN in place of Jockey  S. 
                  Chandrashekar the declared rider. 
        
                       The  right reins of Jockey Mohd. Soiab, the  rider 
                  of ILLUSIVE GIRL momentarily slipped while jumping  out 
                  of  the  starting gates whereby he could  not  exercise 
                  control and his mount went in and inconvenienced  KIOKO 
                  (Samuel Fargeat) on the inside at the start. 
        
                       Trainer  Mr. B. Puttanna was questioned  regarding 
                  the  relatively improved performance of his charge  SUN 
                  ZONE, the winner of this race as compared to its previ-
                  ous  run  in Race No.146 of  Bangalore  Winter  Meeting 
                  2008-09 i.e. The Brahmaputra Plate-(About) 1400 Metres, 
                  for horses 20 to 50, 5 & 6 years old run on 1st  Febru-
                  ary 2008 when ridden by the same rider it ran unplaced.  
                  The  trainer  stated  that in its last  run  the  horse 
                  having  been drawn 11 had to be gradually improved  and 
                  by  about  1000  Metres the rider  obtained  a  forward 
                  position and rode well and the horse was in  contention 
                  with  the  front bunch till about the last  100  Metres 
                  whereafter  it finished 7th within 6 lengths  from  the 
                  winner.  With that run in view and running after a  gap 
                  of  nearly  50 days it came out and won the  race.  His 
                  explanations were noted. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner gr g SUNZONE.

        Permission  was granted to trainer Mr. S. Dominic to deputise  on 
        behalf  of  trainer Mr. S. Britto who was unable  to  attend  the 
        races.
