        1st Race:     8. The Sarb-Kla Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres.
         8 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45.
        
        CHELSY  DANCER (K.P.G. Appu) burst its blood vessels  during  the 
        race.   Trainer  Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was informed that  he  must 
        produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary  Officer 
        before accepting with it again. 
        
        NICE GUY (P.S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels during the  race.  
        Trainer  Mr.  B. Prithviraj was informed that he must  produce  a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again.  
        
        Jockey  Ranjeet  Singh,  the rider of LAGO  VISTA,  was  severely 
        reprimanded  for  dropping his hands before passing  the  winning 
        post. 
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f  SCRAM-
        JET.
        
        2nd Race:     9.  The Mount Joy Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
        11 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 25.
        
        Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to substitute 
        Jockey Mohd. Shafiq to ride HENRY'S SECRET in place of Jockey  A. 
        Velu the declared rider. 
        
        LATVIA  (Suraj Narredu) was permitted to be withdrawn on  veteri-
        nary  grounds before coming under Starter's orders as  the  filly 
        got stuck under the front gates as also had her right hind  stuck 
        for  a significant period of time. 
        
        Jockey  Md. Shafiq, the rider of HENRY'S SECRET, was  reprimanded 
        for  travelling  wide  rounding the final bend  for  no  apparent 
        reason  and  he was further cautioned to refrain from  riding  in 
        this manner. 
        
        3rd Race:     10. The Sarb-Kla Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres.
         8 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45.
        
        GARA FLUID (F.K. Shabuddin) jumped awkwardly outwards and  incon-
        venienced PELIKANO (Ranjeet Singh) which in turn passed it on  to 
        ANNA'S QUEST (Ryan Marshall) on the outside as such he could  not 
        obtain a forward position. 
        
        DESERT REALM (Vinod Shinde) ran detached from the field.  Trainer 
        Mr.  S.  Ganapathy was advised to ensure  better  performance  in 
        future.

        SPLENDID POWER (Suraj Narredu) planted and took no practical part 
        in  the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. B.  Prithviraj 
        was  informed  that he must not accept with it  again  until  its 
        behaviour  improved to the satisfaction of the  Stipendiary  Ste-
        wards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 
        
        4th Race:     11. The Krishnaraja Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. 
         8 Runners    Horses rated 80 and above.
        
        Permission  was  granted to trainer Mr. B.  Puttanna  to  declare 
        Jockey  C. Krishnan on NOBLE GUEST as the Jockey had  not  signed 
        the  declaration  form  regarding the depositing  of  the  riding 
        equipment.
        
        Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of ORIGINALITY  was fined Rs.5,000/- 
        for  using  a body protector of a pattern  not  approved  by  the 
        Stewards.
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f ORIGI-
        NALITY. 
        
        5th Race:     12. The Air Force Trophy-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres.
        12 Runners   Horses rated 40 to 65.
        
        An enquiry has been opened into the interference involving  Jock-
        eys D. Gnaneshwar (GLORIOUS PRINCESS), K.P.G. Appu (EQUIDAE)  and 
        Suraj Narredu (ALCMENE).
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c  KYLES 
        OF BUTE.
        
        6th Race:     13. The Punjab Stud Plate - (About) 1600 Metres.
        11 Runners    Horses rated 60 to 85.
        
        Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an  error 
        in the starting declaration in respect of his charge VAN DE  STAR 
        as regards shoeing. 
        
        SAPTASHWA (D. Gnaneshwar) stood flat footed and lost few  lengths 
        at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Neil  Darashah 
        was  informed  that he must not accept with it  again  until  its 
        behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary in  one 
        jump out on a starting gate practice day. 
        
        Jockey  Mohd. Shafiq, the rider of PHOENIX REACH,  reported  that 
        his  mount  was hanging `out' in the straight.   Trainer  Mr.  S. 
        Ganapathy  was  informed to get it checked  by  his  Veterinarian 
        before accepting with it again. 
        
        Jockey  S.A.  D'Souza  the rider of  MOTHER'S  PRIDE,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for the improper use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race.
        
        Jockey  Suraj  Narredu, the rider of SCIMITAR, reported  that  he 
        could  not  get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres due  to  a 
        closely packed field.

        Jockey  S. Babu, the rider of BLUSHING BEAM was  severely  repri-
        manded  for travelling wide throughout the race for  no  apparent 
        reason.
        
        Approaching the 1000 metres FLAMING LAMBORGINI  (S.Chandrashekar) 
        veered  outwards causing BLUSHING BEAM (S.Babu) to be  restrained 
        and shift further outwards.
        
        7th Race:    14. The Air Force Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres.
        12 Runners   Horses rated 40 to 65.
        
        Jockey  Shanth Kumar was unable to fulfill his riding  engagement 
        as he had failed to deposit his riding equipment 48 hours  before 
        the  race day. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Shiva  to 
        substitute Jockey K. Raja Rao in place of Jockey Shanth Kumar the 
        declared rider. 
        
        Permission  was  granted to trainer Mr. B.  Puttanna  to  declare 
        Jockey  C. Krishnan  on MOVIE QUEEN as the Jockey had not  signed 
        the  declaration  form  regarding the depositing  of  the  riding 
        equipment. 
        
        Trainer  Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.500/- for making an  error 
        in the starting declaration in respect of his charge YOUR DESTINY 
        as regards shoeing. 
        
        SCENIC  MELODY  (B. Prakash) burst its blood vessels  during  the 
        race  and sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hind  pastern.  
        Trainer  Mr.  S. Ganapathy was informed that he  must  produce  a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again.
        
        Apprentice  Jockey  K. Chethana, the rider of LUMINOUS  GOLD  was 
        reprimanded  for  inconveniencing THE LAST  SAMURAI  (S.  Ramesh) 
        which in turn passed it on to GOOD COMPANION (Shoban Babu) on his 
        inside approaching the 100 Metres.
        
        An enquiry has been opened into the poor performance of  IMPERIAL 
        APPLAUSE, trained by V. Lokanath.
