        1st Race:     73. The Bangarpet Stakes - (About) 1200 Metres.
        12 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 25, 4, 5 & 6 years old.
        
        Jockey  K.P.G.  Appu,  the rider of  LITTLE  PREMIUM,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for excessive use of the whip on his mount during  the 
        race (1st infringement).
        
        Jockey  C. Krishnan, the rider of AAJ TAK, was  fined  Rs.1,000/- 
        for  excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race  (1st 
        infringement).
        
        EVERYTHING NICE (K. Raja Rao) ran detached from the field. Train-
        er  Mr. V. Lokanath was advised to ensure better  performance  of 
        his charge in future. 
        
        AAJ TAK (C. Krishnan) sustained injuries on left fore cannon  and 
        right hind cannon. 
        
        KING  OF  GOOD TIMES (Khurshad Alam) sustained injuries  on  left 
        hind fetlock and right hind fetlock. 
        
        2nd Race:     74. The Ashoka Chakra Cup - (About) 1400 Metres.
         6 Runners    3-year-old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2005)
                      (Terms).
        
        BLUSHING BEAM (D. Patel) burst its blood vessels after the  race.  
        Trainer  Mr.S.  Ganapathy  was informed that he  must  produce  a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again.  
        
        It was observed that the right fore shoe of FIREZONE (S.A. DeSou-
        sa) splayed during the race.
        
        Jockey D. Patel, the rider of BLUSHING BEAM, was severely  repri-
        manded for repeatedly checking his mount soon after the start for 
        no apparent reason.  
        
        An  enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of  TIME-
        LESS  TREASURE trained by Mr. B. Prithviraj and ridden by  Jockey 
        C.D. Hayes. 
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g  FIRE-
        ZONE.
        
        3rd Race:     75. The Topmost Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden
         9 Runners    Indian Horses 2 years old only (Foaled in 2006)
                       (Terms).
        
        Jockey  Suraj Narredu, the rider of ALACRITY, reported  that  his 
        mount was lugging `in' in the straight. 
       
        Jockey C.D. Hayes, the rider of CORLEONE, reported that his mount 
        was  hanging `out' rounding the final bend since the horse had  a 
        soft mouth  and was also running green thereafter. Trainer Mr. S. 
        Padmanabhan  was informed to get it checked by  his  Veterinarian 
        and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it 
        again.  
        
        Jockey  S.  Babu,  the  rider  of  SMART  CONTENDER,  was   fined 
        Rs.5,000/-  for  not persevering with his  mount  throughout  the 
        race. 
        
        DRAMATIC  DANCER (B. Sreekanth) was hanging `out' throughout  the 
        race.  Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed to get it checked  by 
        his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures  before 
        accepting  with  it again.  He was also advised  to  employ  more 
        experienced riders in respect of young horses. 
        
        STEP IN STYLE (Vinod Shinde) sustained a bleeding injury on  left 
        fore cannon. 
          
        4th Race:    76. The Badami Stakes-Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. 
         9 Runners    Horses rated 40 to 65.
        
        Jockey  Shoban Babu, the rider of  GOOD COMPANION, reported  that 
        his  mount  was  hanging `in' in the straight.   Trainer  Mr.  S. 
        Inayathulla  was informed to get it checked by  his  Veterinarian 
        and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it 
        again. 
        
        Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of BID FOR GLORY, was  reprimanded 
        for  travelling  wide  rounding the final bend  for  no  apparent 
        reason. 
        
        Jockey S. Chandrashekar, the rider of HIDALGO reported that after 
        jumping out the horse did not show early speed and was  galloping 
        in  snatches.  Trainer Mr. Sharath Kumar was informed to  get  it 
        checked  by  his  Veterinarian and  take  appropriate  corrective 
        measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        HIDALGO  (S. Chandrashekar) brushed the false  rails  approaching 
        the 1000 Metres. 
        
        ONE (S. John) sustained an injury on left hock. 
        
        GOOD COMPANION (Shobhan Babu) sustained an injury on left hock. 
        
        MISS HONEYDEW (D. Gnaneshwar) sustained an injury on right hock. 
        
        HIDALGO (S. Chandrashekar) sustained an injury on right hock. 
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner  b f  HILL 
        OF GRACE. 
          
        5th Race:    77. The Kalinadi Stakes-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses
        12 Runners    rated 60 to 85.
        
        MIGHTY  HEART  (D.  Gnaneshwar) shied away  approaching  the  700 
        Metres,  in the process inconvenienced ROYAL AMBER  (S.A.DeSousa) 
        who  had  to  shift out thereby taking  out  REFLECTION  OF  GOLD 
        (K.P.G.Appu) who was forced to travel wide rounding the bend. 

        Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was questioned regarding the  continued 
        poor performance of his charge ACT SMART (L. Marshall) in that it 
        finished  poor last in both its starts during this  meeting.  The 
        Trainer stated that (a) His horse was working well in the morning 
        trials;  (b) It had shown improvement in the track work  as  com-
        pared to its previous start; and (c) He agreed that it showed  no 
        improvement  in the race and appears to have lost  form  totally. 
        Explanation of the Trainer was noted for future reference. Howev-
        er,  the  Trainer was advised to desist from running  his  charge 
        till  he  is confident of the horse performing up to  its  racing 
        capability.    
        
        ON  A ROLL (Samuel Fargeat) was very fractious on the way to  the 
        starting gates and delayed the proceedings considerably. In  view 
        of its behaviour, trainer Mr. Babu Rao was advised that he should 
        take  all such measures required to ensure that repetition  of  a 
        similar behaviour by his charge does not occur in future.
        
        ON A ROLL (Samuel Fargeat) sustained injury on right hock.
        
        6th Race:    78. The Karnataka Police Sprint Trophy-(About) 1200
        10 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 80 and above.
        
        JERSEY PRIDE (C.D. Hayes) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconven-
        ienced STEELIUM (Shobhan Babu) on the outside. 
        
        Jockey  C.D.  Hayes,  the  rider  of  JERSEY  PRIDE,  was   fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for shifting `out' and causing interference to STYLISH 
        BAY  (S. Chandrashekar) which in turn passed it on  to  LIONHEART 
        (S. Mallikarjun) on his outside approaching the 900 Metres. 
        
        STYLISH  BAY  (S. Chandrashekar) sustained a cut injury  on  left 
        hind outer bulb of heel. 
        
        IN  THE  ZONE  (K.P.G. Appu) sustained an injury  on  right  hind 
        cannon. 
        
        7th Race:    79. The Badami Stakes - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. 
        10 Runners    Horses rated 40 to 65.
        
        Jockey  C.D.  Hayes, the rider of APPLIQUE, was  reprimanded  for 
        tightening  SUPER SHA (S. Ramesh) on his inside  approaching  the 
        100 Metres. 
        
        FINAL  DEPOSIT (C. Harish) pulled up lame on right fore due to  a 
        sprained tendon. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must 
        produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary  Officer 
        before accepting with it again. 
        
        MUSICAL PARADISE (M. Ravi) sustained an injury on left hock. 
        
        POETIC (D. Patel) sustained bleeding gum injury. 
        
        Jockey  C.  Krishnan, the rider of SUN ZONE was  reprimanded  for 
        inconveniencing POETIC (D. Patel) approaching the 300 Metres.
        
        8th Race:    80. The Sovereign Crown Stakes - (About) 1200 Metres
        12 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 and 6 years old.
        
        Jockey  Shanth  Kumar,  the  rider of  SPANISH  CROWN  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for not being able to exercise sufficient control over 
        his mount thereby drifting badly to wide outside, in the  process 
        causing interference to BLACK SPLENDOUR (Gaurav Sapra) soon after 
        jumping out of the starting gates. 
        
        It was observed that ZAIOS (B. Sreekanth) had lost left hind shoe 
        during the race.
        
        ZAIOS (B. Sreekanth) sustained bruises on left hock.
        
        Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis from the winner  dk  b  g 
        ZAIOS.
