1st Race: 167. The Jayanagar Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses
rated 00 to 25 (9 Runners).
Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was fined Rs.500/- for making an error
in the starting declaration in respect of his charge THE COOL
ONE.
COMMAND PERFORMANCE (Shobhan Babu - drawn 5) jumped awkwardly
outwards and inconvenienced CHAR CHAND (S. Shiva Kumar - drawn 6)
on the outside which in turn passed it on to FANTASY KNOT (A.
Ashok Kumar - drawn 7).
SUN DEVICE (Suraj Narredu - drawn 2) bumped THE ROLLS (S. Chan-
drashekar - drawn 1) soon after the start.
FANTASY KNOT (A. Ashok Kumar) was tightened by SANFRANCISCO GIRL
(Harish) approaching the 900 Metres.
Jockey Harish, the rider of SANFRANCISCO GIRL, reported that his
mount was lugging `in' in the straight.
TOUCH OF PARADISE (M. Madhu Babu) pulled up lame on right fore.
Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed that he must produce a
Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before
accepting with it again.
THE ROLLS (S. Chandrashekar) sustained gum injury.
2nd Race: 168. The Bandipur Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45, 5, 6 & 7 years old (8 Runners).
Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was fined Rs.500/- for making an error
in the starting declaration in respect of his charge LIVE IT UP
Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was fined Rs.500/- for making an error
in the scratching form in respect of his charge ZANGI.
IMMORTAL (C. Krishnan - drawn 7) jumped awkwardly inwards and
inconvenienced TACTICAL GAME (S.R. Santosh Kumar- drawn 6) soon
after the start.
IMMORTAL (C. Krishnan) shifted `in' and inconvenienced LAGO VISTA
(Harish) approaching the 900 Metres.
3rd Race: 169. The Talakaveri Plate - (About) 1100 Metres
Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners).
Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was fined Rs.500/- for making an error
in the starting declaration in respect of his charge YES I CAN.
LOWNDES SQUARE (Saleem Golam drawn 8) jumped awkwardly outwards
and inconvenienced BLACK BEAUTY (F.K. Shahbuddin - drawn 9) soon
after the start.
Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of HURRICANE BOLT, was fined
Rs.1,000/- for jumping awkwardly outwards and inconveniencing
MEGA JOY (C.D. Hayes) on his outside and then for bumping YES I
CAN (Harish) soon after the start.
Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of GRAND TOPAZ (drawn 11), was
fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in' and causing interference to
LOWNDES SQUARE (Saleem Golam - drawn 8) on his inside approaching
the 900 Metres.
BLACK BEAUTY (F.K.Shahbuddin) veered out approaching the 800
Metres. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Samar Singh was
informed that he must not accept with it again until its be-
haviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards
in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUPER SPECTACLE reported that
his mount was running green throughout the race.
Jockey C.D. Hayes, the rider of MEGA JOY reported that his mount
ran green throughout the race.
SUPER SPECTACLE (Suraj Narredu) sustained bleeding injury on left
hind coronet.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f DREAM
PARK.
4th Race: 170. The Shravanabelagola Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65. (11 Runners)
Jockey S.A. De Sousa, the rider of SPICY STAR, was fined
Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in' and causing interference to LITTLE
SPLENDOUR (S. Shiva Kumar) on his inside approaching the 200
Metres.
Jockey Harish, the rider of RARE AND PRECIOUS, was reprimanded
for not maintaining a straight course in the last 200 Metres.
5th Race: 171. The Bull Temple Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 60 to 85 (12 Runners).
Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was fined Rs.500/- for making an error
in the starting declaration in respect of his charge MADAM RICH.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of DISTINCTLY AHEAD, was severely
reprimanded for unnecessarily calling out during the race result-
ing in Jockey S. Chandrashekar, the rider of RAIDER'S SUN to
travel wide passing the 900 Metres thereby taking SALSERA (C.D.
Hayes).
Jockey S. Chandrashekar, the rider of RAIDER'S SUN was reprimand-
ed for bumping SALSERA (C.D. Hayes) approaching the 600 Metres.
RAIDER'S SUN (S. Chandrashekar) was observed to have lost right
fore shoe after the race.
DISTINCTLY AHEAD (Suraj Narredu) sustained an injury on right
hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SAL-
SERA.
6th Race: 172. The Siddaganga Plate - (About) 1600 Metres.
Horses rated 40 to 65, 5, 6 & 7 years old (9 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar to with-
draw ALGIERS on veterinary grounds as it was examined at 8.05
a.m. on 19th February 2009 and was found to be trotting lame on
right fore due to injury on pastern. He was informed that he
must produce a Fitness Certificate form the Club's Veterinary
Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error
in the starting declaration in respect of his charge FREEMASON .
Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was fined Rs.500/- for making an error
in the starting declaration in respect of his charge CASINO
ROYAL.
Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of SUPERIOR SURPRISE was fined
Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in' and causing interference to AMAZING
FLORA (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) on the inside approaching the 300
Metres.
WAR HEAD (D.Gnaneshwar) sustained an injury on left hind cannon.
GIFT A DIAMOND (Saleem Golam) sustained a bleeding injury on left
hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUPERI-
OR SURPRISE.
7th Race: 173. The Longchamp Plate - (About) 2200 Metres. Horses
rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Trainer Mr. M. Eshwer was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in
the starting declaration in respect of his charge JERSEY ROCK.
Jockey Saleem Golam, the rider of GIRL NEXT DOOR, pulled up his
mount and dismounted approaching the 1100 Metres since he felt
that the horse was not striding out in a normal manner. The horse
was impounded for veterinary examination soon after the race and
kept under observation. After the last race it was examined
(endoscopy) and was found to have suffered from EIPH. Trainer
R.R. Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certifi-
cate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it
again.
ROCAMORA (Afsar Khan) pulled up lame on right fore due to
sprained fetlock. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he
must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary
Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was questioned regarding the poor perfor-
mance of his charge REDSHIFT ridden by Jockey Suraj Narredu. The
trainer stated that he had instructed the Jockey to ride from the
front making his own pace and to do his best in the straight.
When questioned, the Jockey corroborated the statement of the
trainer and further added that approaching the 1000 Metres his
mount was tending to run out and he had difficulty in keeping it
on an even course inspite of his best effort and after entering
the straight the horse had nothing left in it thereon. Their
explanations were noted for future reference.
8th Race: 174. The Shravanabelagola Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65. (11 Runners)
Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was fined Rs.500/- for making an error
in the starting declaration in respect of his charge PERFECT
ANALYSIS.
Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of MUDEER POWER, reported that
he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.
REPIQUE (Suraj Narredu) sustained an injury on right hind cannon.
