        Going : Good                       Penetrometer Reading: 3.4 Cms.
        
        (False  Rails:  Average width of 4.5 Metres from 1600  Metres  to 
        1000 Metres and 6 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning post.)
        
        1st Race:   213. The Mudabidri Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres.
        Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners)
        
        MYSTERE  (A.  Ashok  Kumar-drawn 7)  jumped  awkwardly  outwards, 
        inconvenienced  BEST  TIME (Suraj Narredu-drawn 8)  and   further 
        bumped SAVVY CONCEPT (Y.S. Srinath-drawn 9) soon after the start.
        
        MYSTERE (A.Ashok Kumar) ran green throughout the race.
        
        Jockey  Y.S. Srinath, the rider of SAVVY CONCEPT,  reported  that 
        his mount ran green throughout the race. 
        
        2nd Race:       214. The Bagalkote Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres.
           For horses rated 20 to 45, 5,6 & 7 years old (10 Runners).
        
        STARRY  VIEW (A. Ashok Kumar) planted and lost many  lengths   at 
        the start.  In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. B. Puttanna  was 
        informed  that  he must not accept with it again  until  its  be-
        haviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary  Stewards 
        in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 
        
        MAAHI  VE (V.R. Jagadeesh) lost few lengths at the start and  was 
        slow into the stride.  In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Samar 
        Singh  was informed that he must not accept with it  again  until 
        its  behaviour  improved to the satisfaction of  the  Stipendiary 
        Stewards in two jump outs on starting gate practice days. 
        
        Jockey  B.L.  Paswan,  the rider of  ASPIRING  SEVEN,  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/-  for shifting `out' and causing interference  and  for 
        repeatedly  bumping KEMROCK (S.R. Santosh Kumar) approaching  the 
        1000 Metres. 
        
        Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of IMMORTAL, reported that he could 
        not get a clear run approaching the 250 Metres due to the  crowd-
        ing of the field.
        
        Jockey S.R. Santosh Kumar, the rider of KEMROCK, reported that he 
        could  not get a clear run approaching the 200 Metres due to  the 
        crowding of the field.
        
        Jockey  B.L.  Paswan,  the rider of  ASPIRING  SEVEN,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the last  300 
        Metres.
        
        Jockey  K.  Raja  Rao,  the rider of  WORD  TO  WORD,  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/- for travelling wide throughout the race for no  appar-
        ent reason. 
        
        An  enquiry has been opened into the inconsistent performance  of 
        WORTH A MILLION.
        
        3rd Race:       215. The Magod Falls Plate - (About) 2000 Metres.
                     For horses rated 00 to 25 (6 Runners).
        
        SENSATIONAL BAY (R. Koch) sustained an injury on left hind fetlock. 
        
        Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of LIVE IT UP, was reprimanded for 
        exulting before passing the winning post.
        
        4th Race:       216. The Bagalkote Plate-Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres.
            For horses rated 20 to 45, 5,6 & 7 years old (9 Runners).
        
        Jockey  M.  Madhu Babu, the rider of BLACK SPLENDOUR,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for inconveniencing MISS PUKKA (Gaurav Sapra) on  his 
        outside soon after the start.
        
        Jockey  M.J. Gautam Raj Urs, the rider of FREE GLIDER, was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in' and bumping DARK HORSE  (P.S.Chouhan 
        - drawn 5) which in turn passed it on to ROYAL HERO (Shobhan Babu 
        -  drawn 4) who further went on to bump MISS PUKKA (Gaurav  Sapra 
        drawn 3) soon after the start.
        
        Jockey  M.J. Gautam Raj Urs, the rider of FREE  GLIDER,  reported 
        that as  his mount was too keen, he could not exercise sufficient 
        control  between the 600 and 500 Metres thereby   inconveniencing 
        BORN BEAUTY (Harish) on his outside.
        
        BLACK  SPLENDOUR  (M. Madhu Babu) was observed to have  lost  its 
        left hind shoe and sustained an injury on right hind gaskin. 
        
        FREE  GLIDER (M.J.Gautam Raj Urs) sustained a cut injury on  left 
        fore cannon. 
        
        Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of ROYAL HERO, was reprimanded for 
        not  exercise sufficient control over his mount under the use  of 
        whip thereby drifted out in the last 200 Metres. 
        
        5th Race:       217. The Racing Patrons Trophy-(About) 1400 Metres.
                   For horses rated 80 and above (8 Runners).
        
        Jockey A.Ashok Kumar the rider of REFLECTION OF GOLD was severely 
        reprimanded for not using goggles during the race.
        
        Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of RIMPUCHE, was fined  Rs.3,000/- 
        for  shifting  `in' and causing severe interference  to  SOBERANO 
        (Vinod  Shinde)  which in turn passed it on to  STYLISH  BAY  (D. 
        Gnaneshwar) approaching the 300 Metres.
        
        Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of MILFORD, was fined Rs.5,000/- 
        for indifferent handling of his mount during the race.
        
        FANTABULOUS PRINCE (Vijay Kumar) shifted `in' and  inconvenienced 
        EINSTEIN (Harish) approaching the 100 Metres.  
        
        6th Race:   218. The Ardent Knight Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres.
        Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners)
        
        SUN  GOLD (Shobhan Babu) stood flat footed and  veered out  badly 
        soon after the start inspite of the best effort of the Jockey. It  
        was  examined  after the last race and found to have  wolf  tooth 
        (505) and cap (506) on upper jaw on the left side.
        
        BLUE  DEW (B. Prakash) did not raise a fluent gallop  soon  after 
        the start. 
        
        Jockey  D.  Mahendran (PLATINUM CHARMER) lost his  right  stirrup 
        iron approaching the 900 Metres.
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g  D'ART 
        AGNAN. 
        
        7th Race:   219. The Mudabidri Plate - Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres.
        Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners)
        
        APPOLONAIRE  (Y.S.  Srinath)  sustained an injury  on  left  fore 
        cannon.
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f  RUGGED 
        BEAUTY. 
        
        An  enquiry has been opened into the riding of Jockey  Harish  on 
        SYSTEMATIC. 
        
        8th Race:       220. The Tungabhadra Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
        For horses rated 40 to 65, 5,6 & 7 years old (8 Runners).
        
        BASTIAN  BAY  (S. Shiva Kumar) was very fractious at  the  gates. 
        under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before 
        coming under Starter's Orders. 
        
        GOOD  COMPANION  (Shobhan Babu) shifted in  and  tightened  SUPER 
        SONIC  (C.Krishnan)  approaching the 200 Metres.  Thereafter  the 
        latter fell back and its rider eased his mount. When  questioned, 
        he  stated  that the horse lost rhythm and was not  striding  out 
        normally  after the interference. SUPER SONIC was  impounded  and 
        kept under observation. It was examined by the club's  veterinary 
        officer after the last race and no abnormality  was found.
        
        GOOD  COMPANION (Shobhan Babu) was hanging `in' in  the  straight 
        and  shifted in from the 250 Metres towards the rails inspite  of 
        the  best effort of its rider. After the race it was pointed  out 
        to   Trainer  Mr.  S. Inayathulla that he has not  been  able  to 
        correct  its behaviour inspite of having cautioned him after  its 
        previous  run. He stated that its behaviour has improved to  some 
        extent after the last start and he will use blinkers in its  next 
        start.  However,  he was advised to accept with it only after  he 
        was satisfied with its behaviour in its gallops.
        
        MAJOR  ASSET  (Vijay Kumar) sustained a bleeding gum  injury  and 
        found to have sharp molars on lower jaw (either sides).    
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b  h  NEE-
        DOFTHEHOUR.
        
        An  enquiry  has been opened into the riding of Jockey  A.  Ashok 
        Kumar on CRACKERJACK.
