        (False Rails: Average width of 5 Metres from 1600 Metres to  1000 
        Metres and 8.5 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning post.)
        
        1st Race:       221. The Gokarna Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
                     For horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners).
        
        Jockey  V.R.  Jagadeesh, the rider of WHISPER VALLEY,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for shifting `in' and causing interference  to  CORUS 
        (C. Krishnan) approaching the 800 Metres.
        
        Jockey  V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of WHISPER VALLEY,  was  repri-
        manded  for using a body protector of a pattern not  approved  by 
        the Stewards.
        
        Jockey  Shobhan  Babu,  the  rider of  FANTASY  KNOT,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for  shifting `in' and causing interference  to  FAST 
        MACHINE  (Himanshu) approaching the 600 Metres causing CORUS  (C. 
        Krishnan) to check from the heels of latter. 
        
        Jockey  P. Mani, the rider of NICE GUY, was fined Rs.1,000/-  for 
        shifting  `in' and causing interference to FANTASY KNOT  (Shobhan 
        Babu) approaching the 150 Metres. 
        
        Jockey  P. Mani, the rider of NICE GUY, was fined  Rs.1000/-  for 
        the improper use of whip on his mount during the race.
        
        Jockey  Himanshu, the rider of FAST MACHINE, was severely  repri-
        manded for dropping hands 100 Metres from the winning post. 
        
        FLYING FLAME (S.Shiva Kumar) pulled up lame on left fore  fetlock  
        and  sustained  an injury on right fore fetlock. Trainer  Mr.  V. 
        Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness  Certificate 
        from  the  Club's  Veterinary Officer before  accepting  with  it 
        again.
        
        2nd Race:       222. The Udupi Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
                     For horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners).
        
        NOBLE  KINGDOM (A. Imran Khan) ducked `in' at the start,  clipped 
        the heels of FLAIR QUEEN (S. Shiva Kumar) and stumbled  approach-
        ing the 1100 Metres due to the crowding of the field. 
        
        Jockey  Harish, the rider of MAN UNITED, reported that  he  could 
        not get a clear run approaching the 1200 Metres due to the crowd-
        ing of the field. 
        
        Jockey  Vijay Kumar, the rider of SHE'S BIG, was reprimanded  for 
        shifting `in' and causing interference to OUR LANCER (P.S.  Chou-
        han) approaching the 600 Metres. 
        
        3rd Race:       223. The N.E. Raymond Memorial Plate - (About) 1600
        Metres. For horses rated 40 to 65, 5,6 & 7 years old (8 Runners).
        
        Jockey  Harish,  the rider of MAC, was fined Rs.1,000/-  for  not 
        maintaining a straight course in the last 200 Metres. 
        
        STAR  OF EXCELLENCE (C. Krishnan) stood flat footed at the  start 
        and  lost many lengths. In view of its behaviour, trainer Mr.  B. 
        Puttanna was informed that he must not accept with it again until 
        its  behaviour  improved to the satisfaction of  the  Stipendiary 
        Stewards in two jump outs on starting gate practice days.
        
        4th Race:       224. The Talkad Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. For horses
        rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).
        
        As  Jockey  M.  Suresh  was certified medically  unfit  to  ride, 
        permission was granted to trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar to  substitute 
        Jockey  Vijay Kumar to ride STAR IMAGE in place of  the  declared 
        rider. 
        
        SPECIAL GESTURE (D. Mahendran) did not raise a fluent gallop soon 
        after  the  start and was lethargic in the early  stages  of  the 
        race.  
        
        Jockey Vijay Kumar, the rider of STAR IMAGE, was severely  repri-
        manded for dropping hands 150 Metres from the winning post.  
        
        SEASONS GREETINGS (Shanth Kumar)  stood flat footed at the  start 
        and  lost  many lengths.  In view of its behaviour,  trainer  Mr. 
        Mohd. A Abbas was informed that he must not accept with it  again 
        until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendi-
        ary Stewards in two jump outs on starting gate practice days. 
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g COMPET-
        ENT SOLDIER.
        
        5th  Race:       225.  The Anekal Stakes - (About)  1400  Metres.  For 
        horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).
        
        Jockey  Suraj  Narredu, the rider of REDFORD, reported  that  his 
        mount was not stretching out in the straight.  On examination  by 
        the  Club's  Veterinary Officer it was found  to  have  sustained 
        injury on right hock.   
        
        SPANDAU BALLET (S. Shiva Kumar) sustained injuries on right  hind 
        cannon.
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SO MUCH 
        MORE. 
        
        The  Stipendiary  Stewards reported Jockey Gaurav  Sapra  to  the 
        Stewards  for the excessive use of whip on his mount JERSEY  ROCK 
        during the race (3rd infringement).  The Stewards held an enquiry 
        after  the last race and interviewed Jockey Gaurav Sapra.   After 
        deliberations, they decided that should he be granted a  Jockey's 
        Licence for the season 2009-2010, the same shall stand  suspended 
        from 16-5-2009 to 17-5-2009 (both days inclusive) for the  exces-
        sive use of whip on his mount JERSEY ROCK during the race. 

        6th Race:   226. The B.A.R.I. Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
        Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (11 Runners)
        
        LEAVE IT TO ME (David Allan) walked out of the gates and lost few 
        lengths. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan  was 
        informed  that  he must not accept with it again  until  its  be-
        haviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipenidary  Stewards 
        in two jump outs on starting gate practice day. 
        
        Jockey  K.  Raja  Rao,  the rider  of  NOBLE  BREEZE,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for shifting `out' and cutting across the field  soon 
        after  the start. 
        
        Jockey  K.  Raja  Rao,  the rider  of  NOBLE  BREEZE,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in' and  causing interference to BOCCON-
        CINO  (Vinod Shinde) which in turn passed it on to FOND  APPROACH 
        (Vivek) approaching the 1000 Metres. 
        
        Jockey  Suraj Narredu, the rider of CRUISING, reported  that  his 
        mount ran erratically in the straight. 
        
        FOND APPROACH (Vivek) ran green throughout the race. 
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f  CRUIS-
        ING.
