(False Rails: Average width of 4.0 Metres from 1600 Metres to the winning post)

1st Race: 125. The January Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms) (9 Runners).

As Jockey K.P.G. Appu could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagement, permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride ABNOBA, in place of the declared rider.

KARNATAKA PRINCESS (Mohammed Shoaib) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Mohmood Khan was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

AMAZING WORLD (Amyn Merchant) sustained gum injuries.

Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was fined Rs.5,000/- for the unsatisfactory running of his charge SKY GLIDER in the above race.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SKY GLIDER, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.

2nd Race: 126. The W.J. Sibbritt Memorial Plate - (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (6 Runners)

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of FIRST OF A LEGEND, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course thereby inconveniencing SHADES OF WHITE (S.A. De Sousa) on his outside during the final stages of the race.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of PORTOBELLO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SADDLE QUEEN (C.D. Hayes) on his inside during the final stages of the race.

Jockey S. John, the rider of OPTIMUS PRIME, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course during the final stages of the race.

FIRST OF A LEGEND (Vinod Shinde) sustained cut injury on right hind pastern.

After the race, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination it was observed that the right fore shoe of FIRST OF A LEGEND had apparently come off during the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c OPTIMUS PRIME.

3rd Race: 127. The Chatrapathi Cup - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)

As Jockey Y.S. Srinath was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer J.S. Dhariwal to substitute Jockey S. John to ride SO MUCH MORE in place of the declared rider.

EDMONDO (S.A. De Sousa) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced ROYAL BANK (A. Ashok Kumar) on the outside at the start.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of DESERT RULE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ROYAL BANK (A. Ashok Kumar) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

HILL OF GRACE (B. Sreekanth) could not get a clear run passing the 1200 Metres due to a tightly packed field.

THE SPARTAN (Afsar Khan) could not get a clear run passing the 1200 Metres due to a tightly packed field.

Jockey David Allan, the rider of CAPRIOSKA, reported that his mount was hanging in, in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan (deputized by trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin) was informed that trainer Mr. Padmanaban was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.

After the race, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination it was observed that the right fore shoe of THE SPARTAN had apparently come off during the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g EDMONDO.

4th Race: 128. The Altenburg Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners)

Jockey F.K. Shabuddin, the rider of TIROLEAN TREASURE, reported that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey S.A. De Sousa, the rider of ALPHA BABY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and tightening SUNNY SPELL (Suraj Narredu) which in turn passed it on to ENDURING SPEED (Amyn Merchant) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUNNY SPELL, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to CAPTAIN'S LOVER (Afsar Khan) on his inside which hit the false rails approaching the 300 Metres.

JEWEL LADY (Imran Chisty) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of CAPTAIN'S LOVER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

5th Race: 129. The Chatrapathi Cup - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)

Jockey S. Ramesh, the rider of SUN ZONE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out ALGIERS (Amyn Merchant) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey S.A. De Sousa, the rider of INSPIRING TRUST, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to DANTE'S PEAK (David Allan) on his outside approaching the 500 Metres.

INSPIRING TRUST (S.A. Sousa) sustained a cut injury on right hind bulb of the heel.

6th Race: 130. The Ghataprabha Plate-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh to substitute Jockey Imran Chisty to ride LADZONE in place of the declared rider.

CHAR CHAND (S. Shiva Kumar) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.

BLACK BEAUTY (K. Chethana) was observed to be running out from the 900 Metres till rounding the final bend, the rider having considerable difficulty in keeping it on a proper course. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to take necessary remedial measures before accepting with it again.

GAME FACE (Khurshad Alam) sustained a cut injury on right fore pastern.

CONSTANCE (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right gaskin.

BLACK BEAUTY (K. Chethana) sustained a cut injury on left fore fetlock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FEEIT ENJOYIT.
