1st Race: 107. The Madhugiri Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners)

As Jockey G. Vijay was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh to substitute Jockey P. Mani to ride CHAR CHAND in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of SARATOGA, was severely reprimanded in the presence of trainer Mr. S. Britto for the inept handling of his mount. He was further informed that he should make every effort to improve his riding in future.

KICKINGKING (B. Sreekanth) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CHAR CHAND (P. Mani) sustained a cut injury on right fore fetlock.

2nd Race: 108. The A.P. Kothavala Memorial Cup-(About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only at the time of starting (Terms) (8 Runners).

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of MAKE MY DAY, reported that his mount was lugging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that there was no abnormality noticed. However, trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

FIST OF RAGE (Y.S. Srinath) sustained a cut injury on right hind bulb of the heel.

3rd Race: 109. The Amber Regent Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners)

Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of THE DAWN, reported that his mount was hanging in, in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that no abnormality was noticed. However, trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was informed to take remedial measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of THE DAWN, was fined Rs 2000/- for shifting in and inconveniencing FIRST OF A LEGEND (B. Prakash) , TUTHMOSIS (Suraj Narredu) and YES I CAN (B.L. Paswan) on his inside approaching the 250 Metres.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of TUTHMOSIS, was fined Rs 1000/- for shifting out and causing interference to FIRST OF A LEGEND (B. Prakash) on his outside approaching the 150 Metres.

It was observed that Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of THE DAWN, lost his whip in the final 100 Metres of the race. Jockey Amyn Merchant was reprimanded for not reporting the loss of whip to the Stipendiary Stewards.

THE DAWN (Amyn Merchant ) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TUTHMOSIS .

4th Race: 110. The Horanadu Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over at the time of starting (11 Runners)

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of BAFFLED, was questioned as to the handling of his mount especially at the start. The Jockey reported that his mount jumped awkwardly with its head up in the air in the process he lost his right stirrup iron which he regained within a few strides. Noting his explanation he was informed that he was being given the benefit of doubt at this instant and was cautioned to be careful in future.

Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of SON OF THE SUN, reported that his mount was trying to run out at the start. Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of BORN BEAUTY, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of CINDY GIRL, was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.

5th Race : 111. The Jaggy Stud Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over at the time of starting (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to withdraw SPARK OF ISIS (S. John) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

As Jockey S. Selvaraj was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh to substitute Jockey Mohammed Shoaib to ride GAME OF LIFE, in place of the declared rider.

Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was fined Rs.500/- for presenting his charge GAME OF LIFE (S. Selvaraj) in the paddock without Blinkers. Subsequently Blinkers were put on before the horse left the paddock.

ROYAL BANK (A.Ashok kumar) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.

6th Race: 112. The Horanadu Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over at the time of starting (10 Runners)

MANTHARA (S. Guruprasad) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped NEEL GAGAN (Himanshu) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

MOVIE QUEEN (A. Ashok Kumar) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SEASONS GREETINGS (Amyn Merchant) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

VOODOO MOON (Mohammed Shoaib) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped MANTHARA (S. Guruprasad) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

MONARCHIAL (G. Adarsh) sustained bleeding gum injury on upper jaw.

NEEL GAGAN (Himanshu) sustained a cut injury on right fore fetlock.

7th Race : 113. The Bangalore Oaks (Grade II)-(About) 2400 Metres. 4 year old Indian Fillies (foaled in 2006) (Terms) (8 Runners).

As Jockey C.D. Hayes could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagement for the day, permission was granted to trainer Mr. P. Shroff to substitute Jockey David Allan to ride STRELITZIA in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SHADES OF WHITE, reported that his mount suddenly veered out passing the 1600 Metres.

CINNAMON ROSE (S.A. De Sousa) pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained tendon. Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

8th Race : 114. The R.H. Charles Memorial Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over at the time of starting (12 Runners).

LESTER (A. Ashok Kumar) could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the staring gates due to the crowding of the field.

SHISHAM (Vinod Shinde) could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the staring gates due to the crowding of the field.

Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of LESTER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to HIDALGO (S. Chandrashekar) on his out approaching the 400 Metres.

Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of LEON CAVALLO, was reprimanded for drifting out in the final stages of the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g LEON CAVALLO.

9th Race : 115. The Jaggy Stud Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over at the time of starting (9 Runners).

NEEDOFTHEHOUR (P.S. Chouhan) was examined at the starting gates and was found to be trotting lame on left fore fetlock. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

STYLISH BAY (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CLASSICAL DANCER (B. Sreekanth) sustained a cut injury on right fore fetlock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g ANOTHER DESTINY.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of LOGANS RUN to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in that he came in sharply passing the 1100 Metres and caused severe interference to MUSIC FOREVER (David Allan) which had to be checked by its rider; as a result OWN VOICE (B. Prakash) which was travelling directly behind the latter had to be severely checked by its rider and further he came in sharply and caused severe interference to MUSIC FOREVER (David Allan) on his inside which in turn passed it on to STYLISH BAY (Suraj Narredu) along the rails approaching the 980 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey B.L. Paswan from riding in races from 12-1-2010 to 20-1-2010 (both days inclusive) for careless riding on his mount LOGANS RUN (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race (permitted to ride work).
