1st Race: 18. The Kokkarebellur Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (9 Runners).

Jockey N. Harsha, the rider of PRINCE NORBERT, reported that his mount was leaning towards the right side inside the gates and while jumping out hit the gates whereby his right stirrup iron broke and as such he had to ride without the aid of the equipment and could not offer any assistance to his mount throughout the race.

Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of YES I CAN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to ORANGE ORCHARD (S. Rajesh) on his outside passing the 300 Metres and also for not maintaining a straight course during the final stages of the race.

Jockey S.R. Santosh Kumar, the rider of CINDY GIRL, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course during the final stages of the race.

TRACK WONDER (P.S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

2nd Race : 19. The V. Gopal Memorial Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners).

SPARK OF JOY (Suraj Narredu) walked out of the gates, refused to raise a gallop and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track. The horse was further referred for veterinary examination and the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination (rectal examination at 5.45 pm on 14-11-2009) it was found to be in season.

Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of SPECIAL CHARM, weighed in more, in relation to weighing out. On questioning, trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy stated that he had changed the girth and sircingle. Hence the trainer was fined Rs.2,000/- for changing the equipment without re-weighing nor informing the Stipendiary Stewards of the same.

Jockey Harish, the rider of KRIPA, reported that his mount was lugging in during the final stages f the race.

KRIPA (Harish) sustained a gum injury.

POETIC (M. Ravi) sustained a cut injury on right hind bulb of the heel.

SENORA ENCIMA (C.D. Hayes) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind bulb of heel.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SENORA ENCIMA.

3rd Race: 20. The Pratap Stud Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (8 Runners).

THE CONTENDER (S. Mallikarjun) threw its head up in the air while jumping out of the starting gates.

CAPRIOSKA (David Allan) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.

RUGGED BEAUTY (S.A.De Sousa) sustained a cut injury on right fore fetlock.

4th Race : 21. The Master Key Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge SILVER HEELS as regards shoeing.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji to withdraw GOODGIRLGONEBAD (S. Shiva Kumar) on veterinary grounds as it was lame on her left hind due to sprained stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

STAR LEAGUE (G. Adarsh) jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates and inconvenienced DIVINE STRIKE (P. Ramesh) on the outside.

SNOW PEAKS (K.P.G. Appu) shifted in and inconvenienced SILVER HEELS (B. Sreekanth) on the outside approaching the 900 Metres.

5th Race : 22. The V. Gopal Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres, horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners).

LOWNDES SQUARE (S. Shiva Kumar) did not get a clear run rounding the final bend due to a tightly packed field.

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of MR PRESIDENT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming out and causing interference to A RUN TO REMEMBER (P. Mani) on his outside rounding the final bend.

6th Race: 23. The B.P. Shivan Memorial Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

Jockey C. Harish, the rider of IMMORTAL, was reprimanded for travelling wide soon after the start for no apparent reason.

It was observed that the right rein of Jockey K. Raja Rao (PLEASANT GLORY) momentarily slipped from his hands which he regained within a few strides.

EVER SO CLEVER (B. Sreekanth) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CLASSICAL DANCER (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on right fore fetlock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g CLASSICAL DANCER.

7th Race: 24. The Kempegowda Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. For 3-year-old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2006) (Terms) (7 Runners).

DIVINE GLEAM (D. Patel) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BOURBON BAY.

8th Race : 25. The Master Key Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

Jockey F.K. Shahbuddin, the rider of TAKE MY WORD, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of CLASSIC COMMANDER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for checking his mount and losing his position during the early stages of the race for no apparent reason.

Jockey N. Harsha, the rider of BEAUTY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for checking his mount and losing his position during the early stages of the race for no apparent reason.

Jockey Himanshu, the rider of IDAR PRINCESS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

NEEL GAGAN (S. Rajesh) sustained a cut injury on right hind bulb of the heel.

9th Race: 26. The B.P. Shivan Memorial Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

PERFECT ANALYSIS (P . Mani) bolted on the way to the starting gates, dislodged the rider and ran riderless. In the process it broke its bridle. Under the circumstances the horse was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.








Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of ZAFAR, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course approaching the 900 Metres.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of LUMINOUS GOLD, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of GREAT CHIEFTAN trained by Mr. B. Puttanna and ridden by Jockey C. Harish.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Britto to deputise on behalf of trainer Mr. M. Eshwer who was unable to attend the races.

ADDITIONAL REPORT

SECOND DAY, SATURDAY, 7TH NOVEMBER, 2009.

Race No.14: The Punjab Stud Plate - (About) 1600 Metres.
Horses rated 60 to 85

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of CIBONEY, reported that his mount gradually fell back, ran detached in the last 200 Metres and was not galloping in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. The horse was referred for further veterinary check. The Club's Veterinary Officer wide his report dated 9th November 2009 informed that the horse was again examined at 8.30 a.m. on 8th November 2009 and was found to be trotting sound. Trainer S.S. Attaollahi was advised to ensure better performance of his charge in future, the Jockey was cautioned as regard the undesirable practice of easing his mount in the last 200 Metres.

Race No.16: The Cordon Bleu Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over .

Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of COMPETENT SOLDIER, reported that his mount gradually started dropping back passing the 700 Metres and stopped galloping in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. The horse was referred for further veterinary check. The Club's Veterinary Officer wide his report dated 9th November 2009 informed that the horse was again examined (endoscopically) on 8th November 2009 and was found to be suffering from Mucoid hyperplasia, a condition seen in upper respiratory tract. In view of the above, trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer and show it in a Mock Race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before accepting with it again.
