1st Race: 34. The T. Dougall Memorial Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (7 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to withdraw SPARK OF BRONTE, on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on his right fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride SPRAWLING ELEGANCE in place of the declared rider.
DRAMATIC DANCER (G. Adash) lost considerable ground at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
BID FOR GLORY (Gaurav Sapra) lost considerable ground at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
STAR PRESENCE (Suraj Narredu)sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern.
MARIANELLA (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) sustained a cut injury on right hind coronet.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f STAR PRESENCE.
2nd Race: 35. The Half A Crown Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).
After the race, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination it was observed that the right fore shoe of SPARK OF ILDERIM (Amyn Merchant) had apparently come off during the race.
3rd Race: 36. The T. Dougall Memorial Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey Ryan
Marshall to ride SIMPLY PHENOMINAL in place of the declared rider.
TIME FLIES (Gaurav Sapra) gradually dropped back passing the 300 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. The Veterinary Officer reported no abnormality. However, the trainer was asked to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUPERB STYLE, reported that he could not get a clear run in the straight due to a closely packed field.
Jockey S.A. De Sousa, the rider of TICKET TO RIDE, reported that his mount was lugging in, in the straight. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
SUPERB STYLE (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g STAR ASSEMBLY.
4th Race: 37. The Gangavathi Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (12 Runners).
ANGEL EYES (Mohammed Shoaib) jumped out, swerved to right and stopped
galloping approaching the 1300 Metres and took no part in the race. In view of
its behaviour trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must not accept
with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the
Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of LEONARDO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to CHRONICLE (Harish) on his inside approaching the 400 Metres which in turn passed it on to STORMY AFFAIR (C.D. Hayes) on the inside.
5th Race: 38. The Dariya Daulat Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M. Eshwer to substitute Jockey Mohammed Shoaib to ride EINSTEIN in place of the declared rider.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to withdraw WESTERN COMMAND on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on both fore due to inflamed hooves. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. S. Britto was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge AWESOME BEAUTY as regards shoeing.
Jockey S. Ramesh, the rider of FLEETING ARROW, reported that his mount wobbled in the last 50 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.
RED RENEGADE (K.P.G. Appu) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c KYLES OF BUTE.
6th Race : 39. The Swarnamukhi Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
AETIUS (S. Selvaraj) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced WIN PRETTYBABY ((Amyn Merchant) soon after the start.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of YOURE CHILUBULI, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to TERN ME ON (S. Mallikarjun) approaching the 1100 Metres.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of CARNIVAL OF JOY, reported that his mount stumbled approaching the 600 Metres.
PRACTICAL MAGIC (P. Mani) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
PLEASURE BITE (K. Raja Rao) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g YOURE CHILUBULI.
7th Race: 40. The Chamarajanagar Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

26. The B.P. Shivan Memorial Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses
rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey C. Harish, the rider of GREAT
CHIEFTAN to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding (Rule 161(ii) of the BTC
Rules of Racing) on his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry
after the last race on Friday, 20th November, 2009 and interviewed trainer Mr.
B. Puttanna and Jockey C. Harish. After deliberations, they decided to (a) note
the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. B. Puttanna; and (b) suspend Jockey C.
Harish from riding in races from 30-11-2009 to 9-12-2009 (both the days
inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (Rule 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing)
on his mount GREAT CHIEFTAN in the above race (permitted to ride work).
