1st Race: 66. The Beginners Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (8 Runners).

Jockey P. Mani, the rider of BALAS GLORY, was reprimanded for changing course in the final stages of the race.

GOLDEN QUEST (B. Prakash) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.

2nd Race : 67. The Parfait Amour Plate-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

SOUTHERN STYLE (K.P.G. Appu) planted and took no practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of GUSTAVO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for repeatedly bumping GOLDEN CROWN (Vinod Shinde) on his outside rounding the final bend.

Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of GUSTAVO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for repeatedly looking back in the last 200 Metres for no apparent reason.

Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of SAQQARAH, was reprimanded for repeatedly changing course in the straight.

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of SANDALWOOD STAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c GUSTAVO.

3rd Race: 68. The Thirthahalli Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (9 Runners).

As Jockey S. Rajesh was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the second race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh to substitute Jockey Afsar Khan to ride SMART COOKY in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of SMART COOKY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to NOBLE BREEZE (B. Prakash) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres.

WESTERN PALACE (Harish) was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and tightening NOBLE BREEZE (B. Prakash) on the inside during the final stages of the race.

GALVANIZE (Amyn Marchant) pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. S. Britto was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ZIGGY STARDUST (Gaurav Sapra) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

AIM TO WIN (A. Ashok Kumar) sustained bleeding cut injury on left hind bulb of the heel.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of NOBLE BREEZE, trained by Mr. S. Ganapathy and ridden by Jockey B. Prakash.

4th Race : 69. The Parfait Amour Plate-Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider f BRIGADE'S PASSION, was reprimanded for coming in sharply before passing the red marker post.

JUST GREAT (Gaurav Sapra) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SHER DIL (K.P.G. Appu) sustained gum injuries.

Subsequent to the race day the Club's Veterinary Officer informed that based on the report from the trainer, b c BRIGADE'S PASSION was examined endoscopically at 5.45 pm on 12-12-2009 and was found to have suffered from EIPH. Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

5th Race: 70. The J. Tyrell Memorial Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

Jockey B. Sreenath, the rider of NERMAI, reported that he lost his whip in the final 25 Metres.

MUSICAL PARADISE (Mohammed Shoaib) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.

6th Race : 71. The Shantiniketan Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. For Horses rated 80 and above (12 Runners).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ATLANTUS.

7th Race: 72. The Galloping Acres Stud Plate - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (10 Runners).

As Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagement for the day, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to substitute Jockey R.Koch to ride SPARK OF REVERENCE in place of the declared rider.

TABLE MOUNTAIN (S. John) sustained a cut injury on left hind bulb of heel.

SPARK OF REVERENCE (R. Koch) sustained a cut injury on left hind bulb of the heel.

8th Race: 73. The Harvins Bangalore 2000 Guineas (Grade II)-(About) 1600 Metres. For 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2006) (Terms)(9 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to withdraw SPARK OF MARCHADOR on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

STAR OF MARMALADE (Samuel Fargeat) pulled up lame on right fore due to a sprained suspensory ligament. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

9th Race: 74. The Premium Spirit Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

As Jockey Shanth Kumar was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda to substitute Jockey Zia Akhtar to ride SHE'S BIG in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Zia Akhtar, the rider of SHE'S BIG, was fined Rs.1,000/- for using a whip which was not of approved pattern.

Jockey Zia Akhtar, the rider of SHE'S BIG, was reprimanded for the improper use of the whip on his mount during the race.
Permission was granted to trainers M/s. G. Nityanand and Mahmood Khan to deputise on behalf of trainers M/s. Arjun Mangalorkar and Inayathulla respectively who were unable to attend the races.

The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their meeting held on 12th December 2009, decided that pending disposal of the Appeal, the effective date of suspension of Trainer's Licence of Mr. Pratap M Kamath shall be from 15th December 2009 to 14th January 2010.
