(False Rails: Average width of 3.5 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 7.0 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning post)

1st Race: 83. The Novice Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners).

Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of VODKA, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of MOVES GOODENOUGH, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f TSAVORITE.

2nd Race : 84. The Gomos Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of FIRM AMBER, reported that his mount was lugging in, in the straight.

Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of NEARCOMASTER, was reprimanded for shifting `in' and inconveniencing OUR CRUISE(Gaurav Sapra) on his inside before passing the red marker post.

Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of AMBER STAR, was fined Rs.5,000/- for abruptly stopping riding at the closing stages of the race. He was warned in the presence of trainer Mr. Samar Singh that in view of the fact that he won the race no further action was taken beyond the fine imposed, but for which he would have been reported to the Stewards with recommendation for severe disciplinary action.

Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was questioned regarding the running of his charge YOURE CHILUBULI (P.S. Chouhan) in the above race. Trainer stated that he had instructed the rider to keep his charge in 4th/5th position and ride out in the straight. He stated that the Jockey rode from forward position in 2nd or 3rd during the early part and rode out in the straight, but the horse did not respond well. He added that subsequent to its last win it had gone up in weights, but still he fancied it both for win and place, but he was quite disappointed with its poor performance. His explanations were noted.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g YOURE CHILUBULI.

3rd Race: 85. The Bangarpet Plate-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge ASTONICAL as regards shoeing.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Shiva to withdraw GOD'S WILL (S. Selvaraj) on veterinary grounds as t was suffering from acute Colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ASTONICAL (G. Adarsh) reared up as the gates opened and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Vivek, the rider of FANTASY KNOT, reported that his mount stumbled approaching the 750 Metres.

FANTASY KNOT (Vivek) sustained a cut injury on his right hind cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f LEADING LADY.

4th Race: 86. The T.B. Hanumantharaj Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh to withdraw NOBLE SACRIFICE (S. Rajesh) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from fever. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

FROZEN FIRE (David Allan) sustained a cut injury on left hock.

5th Race: 87. The Kehlan Stud Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (10 Runners).

Jockey S.A. De Sousa, the rider of ALACRITY, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course approaching the 800 Metres.

CAYENNE (C.D. Hayes) sustained a cut injury on her right fore fetlock.

CLASSIC CHARGE (G. Adarsh) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.

6th Race : 88. The Karnataka Police Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (11 Runners).

JOIN THE PARTY (S. Shiva Kumar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CELESTIAL SON (Samuel Fargeat) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

Approaching the 800 Metres in a closely packed field THE CONTENDER (S. Mallikarjun) which was fiercely galloping behind CART WHEEL (Y.S. Srinath) struck the front runner and stumbled dislodging its rider. SOBERANO (Khurshad Alam), MARK OF GIBRALTAR (Vinod Shinde) and FLAMING LAMBORGINI (Suraj Narredu) moving directly behind had to be shifted out to avoid running of the prostrated rider. Further enquiry is being held into this incident.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g JERSEY PRIDE.
7th Race: 89. The Nelamangala Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey Harish, the rider of DOUBLE ELITE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and repeatedly bumping ROYAL PLAYER (Gaurav Sapra) on his inside soon after the start.

GRACIAN (Mohammed Shoaib) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hind cannon.

Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna and Jockey A. Ashok Kumar were questioned regarding the running and riding of MAN UNITED. The trainer stated that (a) he had instructed the rider to be up with the front runner and do his best and ride out in the straight; (b) his horse had the habit of hanging in which could be evident even in this particular race; (c) the rider rode as per his instruction, but at the last 200 Metres the horse started hanging in, he had to control it from shifting out and at the same time had to ride out which he did; and (d) that he was satisfied with the riding of Jockey A. Ashok Kumar. The rider when questioned, added that the horse was hanging in badly and he had difficulty in keeping it on an even course and ride out. Their explanation were noted. However, trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was once again advised to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Harish, the rider of DOUBLE ELITE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

8th Race : 90. The Gomos Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to deputise on behalf of trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal in the above race.

STILL WILL (Y.S. Srinath) suddenly shied away considerably approaching the final 100 Metres, the rider having to collect it and ride out.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ICE MINT, reported that his mount was inclined to run out throughout the race and that he had considerable difficulty in keeping it on an even course. As a result approaching the 900 Metres it shifted out and inconvenienced STILL WILL (Y.S. Srinath), NEEL GAGAN (S. Shiva Kumar) and ALPHA BABY (S.A. De Sousa) on its outside. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. M. Eshwer was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

PERSIAN ROCK (Vinod Shinde) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

ICE MINT (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. G. Nityanand to deputise on behalf of trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar who was unable to attend the races.

68. The Thirthahalli Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey B.Prakash, the rider of NOBLE BREEZE to the Stewards for riding an injudicious race (Rule No.162(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the race on 18-12-2009 and interviewed trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy and Jockey B. Prakash. After deliberations, they decided to (a) note the explanation tendered by trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy; and (b) suspend Jockey B. Prakash from riding in races from 28-12-2009 to 1-1-2010 (both the days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.5,000/- for riding an injudicious race (Rule No.162(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race (permitted to ride work).
