1st Race: 207. The Infants Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners)
SPLASH OF BEAUTY (B. Sreekanth) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr.
J.S. Pillay was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
SERAPH (R. Koch) was examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer after the race and was found to have buccal ulcers on both the jaws. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
DAY TRADER (Mohammed Shoaib) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ABNOBA.
2nd Race: 208. The Jayanagar Plate - (About) 1100 Metres.
Horses rated 00 to 25 (10 Runners)
Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of GAME FACE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for travelling wide throughout the race for no apparent reason.
ALL RISE (James Doyle) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 250 Metres.
ALL RISE (James Doyle) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.
3rd Race: 209. The Infants Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners)
Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence in not intimating the office in time about his charge ACCURATE having been gelded.
As Jockey Shobhan Babu was certified medically unfit to ride, permission
was granted to trainer Mr. S. Britto to substitute Jockey Gaurav Sapra to ride
FRUIT KING in place of the declared rider.
Jockey James Doyle, the rider of FRIENDLY BOND, reported that his mount was running erratic during the final stages of the race.
It was observed that YAS MARINA (S.A. De Sousa) was drifting out under pressure during the final stages of the race.
4th Race: 210. The Octogonal Plate - (About) 1100 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners)
WAY TO FANTASY (S. John) dislodged the rider and ran round the course. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
The saddle of Jockey S. Shiva Kumar (GOODGIRLGONEBAD) was examined after the race and was found to be an unserviceable condition. Hence Jockey S. Shiva Kumar was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.
Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of TRILLION WIN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and inconveniencing BLACK SPLENDOUR (K. Chethana) on his inside which in turn caused interference to PEARL OF BANGALORE (Md. Shafiq) which further interfered with SPRAWLING ELEGANCE (Khurshad Alam) along the rails approaching the 200 Metres.
ROYAL HERO (Afsar) pulled up lame on left hind due to a cut injury on left hock. Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SPRAWLING ELEGANCE (Khurshad Alam) sustained a cut injury on right hind coronet.
BOLZANO (B. Sreekanth) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f BHAGIRATHI.
5th Race: 211. The Governor's Trophy-(About) 1600 Metres. 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2007) (Terms) (7 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao to withdraw FIST OF RAGE on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sore shins. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to substitute Jockey S. John to ride SUN DAWN in place of the declared rider.
GOLDEN QUEST (B. Prakash) pulled up lame on left fore due to sore shin. Trainer Mr. Karan Singh (deputizing for trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey David Allan, the rider of UNLEASHED, reported that he could not get
a clear run approaching the 800 Metres due to a closely packed field whereby
brushed the false rails.
6th Race: 212. The Varada Trophy-Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (10 Runners)
As Jockey M. Narredu was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey James Doyle to ride FLAMING LAMBORGINI in place of the declared rider.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Dominic to substitute Jockey Gaurav Sapra to ride SUPERIOR SURPRISE in place of the declared rider.
7th Race: 213. The Varada Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (11 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey J.H. Christopher to ride STYLISH BAY in place of the declared rider.
GREENS (A. Ashok Kumar) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
ASTOUNDING BLUE (C.D. Hayes) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. B. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey S.Guruprasad, the rider of MILFORD, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.
DANTE'S PEAK (David Allan) pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained suspensory ligament. Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin (deputising for trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan) was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
ENDURING STAR (P.S. Chouhan) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ENDURING STAR.
8th Race: 214. The Mudabidri Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to substitute Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu to ride GOOD COMPANION in place of the declared rider.
Jockey James Doyle, the rider of HAGGLER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for
shifting in and causing interference to WIN PRETTYBABY (Amyn Merchant) on his
inside approaching the 1200 Metres.

59. The Brig. C.D. Mohan Memorial Plate- Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65
The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on Friday, 26th February 2010, considered the Minutes of the Meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., dated 23rd December 2009 suspending the Jockey's licence of Jockey M.A. Milan from 3-1-2010 to 24-2-2010 (both days inclusive) and further referring him to the Stewards of Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., for further action for not permitting his mount CHAMPIONS LEAGUE to run on its merits (Rule 159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. They examined Jockey M.A. Milan. After viewing the CCTV replay of the race and considering the evidence tendered by Jockey M.A. Milan and the submissions made by him, the Stewards decided to withdraw the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey M.A. Milan from 15-3-2010 to 2-4-2010 and not to grant him a Jockey's Licence from 3-4-2010 to 31-12-2011 for not permitting his mount CHAMPIONS LEAGUE to run on its merits (Rule 159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. He was informed of his right to appeal under BTC Rules of Racing.

72. The Halebeedu Plate (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above.
The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on
Friday, 26th February 2010 (i) considered the grounds of appeal dated 11th
February 2010 filed by Jockey D. Gnaneshwar against the decision of the Stewards
of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., in suspending his licence from 22-1-2010 to
24-2-2010 (both days inclusive) and further referring him to the Stewards of BTC
for further action for not permitting his mount GERSHWIN to run on its merits
(Rule 159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. The
Stewards noted that pending disposal of the appeal the above said punishment had
been stayed by them. They examined trainer Mr. Z. Darashah and Jockey D.
Gnaneshwar. After due deliberations, they decided to reject the appeal filed by
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar and to forfeit the appeal fee of Rs.2,500/- paid by him
(ii) the Stewards at the same Meeting further considered the Minutes of the
Meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., dated 12th January 2010
referring Jockey D. Gnaneshwar to the Stewards of B.T.C. for not permitting his
mount GERSHWIN to run on its merits (Rule 159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of
Racing) in the above race. After viewing the CCTV replay of the race and
considering the evidence tendered by trainer Mr. Z. Darashah and Jockey D.
Gnaneshwar, the Stewards after due deliberations decided to (a) note the
explanations tendered by trainer Mr. Z. Darashah; and (b) withdraw the Jockey's
Licence granted to Jockey D. Gnaneshwar w.e.f. 15-3-2010 to 2-4-2010 (both days
inclusive) and not to grant him a Jockey's Licence from 3-4-2010 to 31-3-2012
for not permitting his mount GERSHWIN to run on its merit in the above said
race. He was informed of his right to appeal under BTC Rules of Racing.
