1st Race: 164. The February Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (12 Runners)
Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of STATESMAN, reported that he lost his whip passing the 300 Metres.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SUN SO BEAUTIFUL, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 200 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey David Allan, the rider of BALMORAL CASTLE reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of METHODICAL, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
REZOOM (Samuel Fargeat) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f SIACHEN.
2nd Race: 165. The Shimoga Plate - (About) 1800 Metres.
For horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners)
As Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey R. Koch to ride BURNING AMBITIONS in place of the declared rider.
RETRO QUEEN (B. Sreekanth) jumped and swerved towards the left, did not raise a fluent gallop and trailed the field thereafter. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
3rd Race: 166. The February Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (12 Runners)
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SKY LIGHT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to VALAHAK (Suraj Narredu) on his inside approaching the 700 Metres.
Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of SUN DAWN, reported that his mount was
running green throughout the race.
Jockey S.A.De Sousa, the rider of CALDERA, reported that his mount was hanging
in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary
examination and no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand
(deputizing for trainer Mr. Darius Byramji) was informed to take remedial
measures before accepting with it again.
SMART WAYS (Mohammed Shoaib) sustained cut injury on right fore.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUNNYS SECRET.
4th Race: 167. The Gaganachukki Plate - (About) 1600
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old & over (9 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey S. Mallikarjun to ride SUPERLATIVO in place of the declared rider.
Jockey Harish, the rider of STAR NEWS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping SOUND BET (Gaurav Sapra) on his outside approaching the 350 Metres.
Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of SOUND BET, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and bumping STAR NEWS (Harish) on his inside approaching the 300 Metres.
Jockey S. John, the rider of HAGGLER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of FREE GLIDER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
5th Race: 168. The Chamundi Hill Plate-Div.II- (About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey D. Mahendran to ride ONLY A VISION in place of the declared rider.
Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of TIROLINO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to FOND APPROACH (Vinod Shinde) on his inside approaching the 1200 Metres. HAMPTON COURT (Imran Chisty) which was travelling directly behind had to be checked by its rider to avoid clipping the heels of the front runner approaching the 1100 Metres.
ROCKING ROCK (Khurshad Alam) accidentally struck the false rails approaching the 700 Metres.
Jockey F.K. Shabuddin, the rider of SENSATIONAL, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing ONLY A VISION (D. Mahendran) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres.
6th Race: 169. The D.P. Sharma Memorial Sprinters Trial Stakes - (About) 1200 Metres. For Indian Horses 4 years old and over at the time of starting (Terms) (9 Runners)
JOIN THE PARTY (Ryan Marshall) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced CRUISING (C.D. Hayes) on the inside soon after the start.
CRUISING (C.D. Hayes) took a fly jump.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. John, the rider of ATLANTUS, to the Stewards for the violation of the Calendar Notification under the heading "USE OF WHIP" in the above race (3rd infringement). The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey S. John. After deliberations they decided to suspend Jockey S. John from riding in races from 15-2-2010 to 19-2-2010 (both days inclusive) for violation of the Calendar Notification under the heading "USE OF WHIP" on his mount ATLANTUS in the above race (3rd infringement) (permitted to ride work).
Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch h DIAMOND HUNTER.
7th Race: 170. The Ruia Stud Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 ( 8 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey D. Mahendran to ride THE SPARTAN in place of the declared rider.
BRIGADE'S PRIDE (Suraj Narredu) pulled up lame on left hind due to sprained quarter. Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
ALGIERS (Amyn Merchant) pulled up lame on left fore fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c LOWNDES SQUARE.
8th Race: 171. The Smt. Saraswati Sajnani Memorial Trophy-(About) 1600 Metres. For horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to withdraw ALLURING (B. Sreekanth) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
9th Race: 172. The H. Devereux Memorial Plate- (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old & over (12 Runners)
Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of POETIC, was fined Rs.2,000/- for suddenly slowing down the pace thereby hampering the runners moving from behind passing the 1000 Metres. Jockey K. Chethana, the rider of LITTLE SPLENDOUR, was find Rs.2,000/- for crowding the horses on his inside approaching the 950 Metres. As a result of the above two incidents, the following horses viz. GRIS RAPIDE (A. Velu) and GAME OF LIFE (S. Selvaraj) had to be checked by their respective riders.
Approaching the 900 Metres in a very tightly packed field GAME OF LIFE (S. Selvaraj) fiercely moving behind REFRESH (Md. Shafiq) accidentally struck the front runner and fell dislodging its rider. ROYAL PLAYER (Gaurav Sapra), THUMPING VICTORY (Amyn Merchant) and ON A ROLL (S. Chandrashekar) moving behind had to be severely checked by their respective riders.
LITTLE SPLENDOUR (K. Chethana) suddenly shied away approaching the 500 Metres.
Jockey T. Bernard, the rider of PINAAKINI, was fined Rs.1,000/- for his negligence pertaining to weighing out.
GAME OLF LIFE (S. Selvaraj) was reported to have sustained injuries on left fore cannon and knee, and deep cut injuries on right fore tendon and right stifle. Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SPARK OF ISIS (S. John) pulled up lame on right hind due to sprained fetlock. Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
GRIS RAPIDE (A. Velu) sustained a cut injury on left fore cannon.
REFRESH (Md. Shafiq) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
10th Race: 173. The Chamundi Hill Plate-Div.I- (About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey D. Mahendran to ride ADMIRANDA in place of the declared rider.
SANDALWOOD STAR (S. Chandrashekar) took a fly jump.
Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of BEST TIME, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to XEL (F.K. Shabuddin) and JERSEY POWER (G. Adarsh) on his outside soon after the start.
Jockey A. Velu, the rider of DEVIL GRANDMA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
CUTE STYLE (M. Ravi) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of GUSTAVO, trained
by Mr. Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Jockey Suraj Narredu.

Trainer Mr. M. Eshwer was fined Rs.5,000/- for his negligence in discharge of duties as Trainer in respect of his charge ANNA'S QUEST pertaining to saddling.
Trainer Mr. J. Chethan was fined Rs.5,000/- for his unauthorized presence
in the saddling enclosure prior to the above race.
