1st Race: 215. The Tungabhadra Plate-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (10 Runners)

Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of MILAGRO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

A RUN TO REMEMBER (M. Ravi) sustained a cut injury on left hock.

HIDALGO (Amyn Merchant) sustained cut injuries on left hind fetlock and right gaskin.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b h MAC.

2nd Race: 216. The Gadag Plate - (About) 1600 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners)

Trainer Mr. Sharath Kumar was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey S.John to ride his charge SOUTHERN KING in the above race without ascertaining his availability as he had already accepted to ride CLASSIC CONCEPT in the above race. Subsequently he was permitted to declare Jockey Afsar Khan.

Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of SON OF THE SOIL, was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.

SENSATIONAL (F.K. Shabuddin) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g CAMELOT.

3rd Race: 217. The Manasa Sarovara Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners)

As Jockey Mohd. Ghouse was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to substitute Jockey P. Mani to ride SPARK OF JEWEL in place of the declared rider.

Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of BHAGIRATHI, was severely reprimanded for easing up his mount before passing the wining post in a close finish. He was informed that in view of the fact that he had won the race, no further action was taken but for which he would have been reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f BHAGIRATHI.

4th Race: 218. The Ardent Knight Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners)

Jockey S. John, the rider of STAR OF STARS, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 1200 Metres.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of HI LIFE, reported that his mount was running green in the straight.

REZOOM (P.S. Chouhan) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g REZOOM.

5th Race: 219. The Nilgiris Trophy-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (10 Runners)

CLASSICAL DANCER (Suraj Narredu) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped THE CONTENDER (S. Mallikarjun) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of ANOTHER DESTINY, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the straight.

6th Race: 220. The Karwar Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners)

Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge XEL (J.H. Christopher). Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.

IDAR PRINCESS (G. Adarsh) after jumping out, refused to raise a fluent gallop and ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Lokanath (deputizing for trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla) was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

XEL (J.H. Christopher) jumped awkwardly inwards from the starting gates.

Jockey D. Mahendran, the rider of SKY DRIVE, reported that his mount grabbed its bit towards the right and he had considerable difficulty in keeping it on an even course and ride it out in the final 150 Metres of the race.

Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of YOURE STUNNING, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the straight.







Jockey C. Rajendra, the rider of GRAND TOPAZ, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course approaching the 200 Metres.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of ICE MINT, reported that his mount dropped back very fast in the final 50 Metres of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey S. John, the rider of ALLEGRO, was reprimanded for his negligence pertaining to weighing in.

JEWEL LADY (P. Mani) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from gr g YOURE STUNNING.

7th Race: 221. The Tungabhadra Plate-Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (10 Runners)

MUCHO (G. Adarsh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

8th Race: 222. The Nilgiris Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (9 Runners)

ALGIERS (P.S. Chouhan) was examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer before the start of the race at the gates and was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of STRONG MINDED, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 200 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of ROMANCE IN THE AIR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ENFORCER (Vivek) which in turn passed it on to STYLISH BAY (Suraj Narredu) on the inside before passing the red marker post.

Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of STRONG MINDED, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 150 Metres.












9th Race: 223. The Manasa Sarovara Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay to withdraw NOX (P.S. Chouhan) on veterinary grounds as it was lame due to sprained shoulder (left). He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
