1st Race: 224. The March Plate-Div.II-(About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (10 Runners)
Jockey Vivek, the rider of INSPIRATOR, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 800 Metres due to a tightly packed field.
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of A GAME TO REMEMBER had to check his mount due to a tightly packed field to avoid clipping the heels of the front runner. ROYAL PRODIGY (P.S. Chouhan) which was travelling directly behind also had to be checked by its rider approaching the 700 Metres.
SKY EMPRESS (Imran Chisty) sustained gum injury.
2nd Race: 225. The Bagalkote Plate - Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (9 Runners)
After the race it was reported that NEARCO DANCER (Ryan Marshall) pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained knee. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey P. Mani, the rider of RAIN MAN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to DIFFERENT OPINION (Gaurav Sapra) on his outside approaching the 600 Metres.
FLIP YOUR DESTINY (Imran Chisty) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g FLIP YOUR DESTINY.
3rd Race: 226. The Glass House Trophy-(About) 1200 Metres. Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (8 Runners)
Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was fined Rs.500/- for not declaring the weights in respect of his charge GIFT OF LOVE.
Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined a total sum of Rs.1,000/- for not
declaring the weights in respect of his charges CHANTILLY JEWEL and SOUTHERN
PEARL respectively.
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for not declaring the weights in respect of his charge SEASON OF LOVE.
4th Race: 227. The Makedatu Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 00 to 25, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge TRAFALGAR SQUARE (F.K.Shabuddin) as regards shoeing.
5th Race: 228. The Kanteerava Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (10 Runners)
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of MIGHTY HEART, was reprimanded for looking back during the final stages of the race for no apparent reason.
CAPTIVATING (B. Prakash) sustained a cut injury on right hock.
6th Race: 229. The Virajpet Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40
to 65 (8 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar and Jockey S. John were questioned regarding the running and riding of LUSH LASHES. The trainer stated that (a) he had instructed the rider to ride it from off the pace; (b) his charge relished to run from off the pace and would come with the good run in the straight; (c) his charge would run better beyond a mile; and (d) since there are not many long distance races he chose to run in the above race and pick up as much as stakes money as possible. The Jockey corroborated the statement of the trainer and was also of the opinion that the horse needed more distance. Their explanations were noted.
SUNNY SPELL (P.S. Chouhan) sustained a cut injury on right hock.
7th Race: 230. The Bagalkote Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (8 Runners)
DARK HORSE (Amyn Merchant) sustained a cut injury on left hind tendon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g WESTERN PALACE.
8th Race: 231. The Devarayanadurga Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners)
Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey B.Sreekanth to ride his charge BONZINI in the above race without ascertaining his availability who had already accepted to ride MY MUSKETEER in the above race. Subsequently he was permitted to declare Jockey Imran Chisty.
As Jockey S. John was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey Gaurav Sapra to ride ATTATURK in place of the declared rider.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of CASH IS KING, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to MAN DOWN UNDER (Suraj Narredu) on his inside approaching the 400 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g CASH IS KING.
9th Race: 232. The March Plate-Div.I-(About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (10 Runners)
Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge SANDYBOY (Amyn Merchant) as regards signature.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey Afsar Khan to ride QUEENS COLOUR in place of the declared rider.
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of SEVEN HEAVEN, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
BACK AMONG FRIENDS (F.K. Shabuddin) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f JALDI.
