1st Race: 248. The Mercara Plate - Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (9 Runners)
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of WERN TANGLAS, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
Jockey Vivek, the rider of JAANVI, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c BRAAVO.
2nd Race: 249. The Charmudi Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners)
Jockey Harish, the rider of BURNING AMBITIONS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out TRACK WONDER (Gaurav Sapra) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
It was reported after the race that SOLDIER BLUE (G. Adarsh) pulled up lame on left fore due to a sprained tendon. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again
ORANGE ORCHARD (Khurshad Alam) sustained a cut injury on left fore cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g OUR CRUISE.
3rd Race: 250. The Mercara Plate - Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (8 Runners)
Jockey R. Koch, the rider of HARD TO PIN DOWN, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
Jockey Harish, the rider of WISHKEY, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.
It was reported after the race that FIRE STAR (A. Ashok Kumar) pulled up
lame on left fore due to a sprained shoulder. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was
informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary
Officer before accepting with it again.
WISHKEY (Harish) sustained a cut injury on left hind.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f YAS MARINA.
4th Race: 251. The Sandur Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (12 Runners)
Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of THE SPARTAN, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race. He was further cautioned in the presence of trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar that a repetition of similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.
Jockey Harish, the rider of SUPERB STYLE, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres.
Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of BHAGIRATHI. Was fined Rs.5,000/- for the inept handling of his mount in the above race. He was further cautioned in the presence of trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala that a repetition of similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.
5th Race: 252. The Narmada Trophy - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to withdraw MR PRESIDENT (Imran Chisty) on veterinary grounds as it was lame on left hind due to inflamed cannon (Cellulits). He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.500/- for not using Tongue Strap on his charge BEST TIME (Khurshad Alam) for the use of which prior permission had been obtained. Subsequently Tongue Strap was put on the horse before it left the paddock.
BEST TIME (Khurshad Alam) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.
SUPER SPEAR (G. Adarsh) accidentally stumbled approaching the 800 Metres and was checked by its rider. GUSTAVO (B.L. Paswan) which was running behind also had to be checked by its rider to avoid striking the front runner.
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of RUBELLITE, was reprimanded for attempting to force his passage along the rails approaching the 800 Metres where there was insufficient room.
RUGGED BEAUTY (P.S. Chouhan) sustained cut injury on left hock.
6th Race: 253. The Banavasi Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (11 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was reported to the Stewards for the possession / use of Mobile Phone outside the weighing room before the race without payment of requisite charges. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on 27th March 2010 and examined trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar. After deliberations, they fined trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar Rs.10,000/- for the possession/use of Mobile Phone without the payment of requisite charges thereby contravening the Stewards instructions pertaining to Mobile Phone
Jockey S. John, the rider of FANTABULOUS PRINCE was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to POETIC (Vivek) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g FANTABULOUS PRINCE.
7th Race : 254. The Vibrant Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj to withdraw APPROACH on veterinary grounds as it was lame on left FORE due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
CAPTAIN'S LOVER (M.J. GautamRajUrs) jumped awkwardly inwards unbalancing the rider whereby the rider lost his left stirrup iron and regained it within a few strides.
SPARK OF JOY (S. Chandrashekar) walked out of the gates and swerved towards the right and lost considerable ground at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey M.J. GautamRajUrs, the rider of CAPTAIN'S LOVER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in sharply passing the 900 Metres and causing interference to PARTY TONITE (Suraj Narredu) on his inside.
Jockey M.J. GautamRajUrs, the rider of CAPTAIN'S LOVER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
CAPTAIN'S LOVER (M.J. GautamRajUrs) sustained injury on left hind tendon.
8th Race: 255. The Banavasi Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (11 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge LITTLE SPLENDOUR as regards shoeing.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of PERFECT ANALYSIS, was reprimanded for repeatedly changing course thereby inconveniencing YOUR DESTINY (Imran Chisty) before passing the red marker post.
Jockey S. Chandrashekar, the rider of HIDALGO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and repeatedly bumping YOUR DESTINY (Imran Chisty) on his outside before passing the red marker post.
SMART N SPECIAL (S.R. Santosh Kumar) pulled up lame approaching the 600 Metres, the rider have to dismount before passing the winning post. After examination of the horse after the race, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it had sustained fracture of right fore fetlock and hence was euthanised at around 7.10 p.m. on 26th March 2010.
Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of LITTLE SPLENDOUR, reported that he lost
whip approaching the 350 Metres.
