Going : Good Penetrometer Reading : 3.1 Cm (False Rails: Average width of 3.5 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 7.5 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning post) 1st Race: 115. The January Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms) (10 Runners). Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was fined Rs.500/- for using wrong coloured cap in respect of his charge ROSIE'S DREAM (B. Sreekanth). Subsequently it was rectified with correct coloured cap. NO DOUBT (S.A. DeSousa) could not get a clear run approaching the 200 Metres due to a closely packed field. I SPECIALIST (Y.S. Srinath) drifted out under pressure in the last 100 Metres thereby inconveniencing NEARNESS OF YOU (David Allan) on the outside. NEARNESS OF YOU (David Allan) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern. 2nd Race: 116. The Kitty Bank Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (8 Runners) SUPER SPECTACLE (Suraj Narredu) slipped from behind while jumping out of the starting gates whereby the rider got momentarily unbalanced and the horse went in and inconvenienced PRINCE NORBERT (R. Pradeep) on the inside which in turn passed it on to SUN GOLD (Naushad Alam) further on the inside. Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUPER SPECTACLE, reported that his mount was hanging `in' in the last 300 Metres. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again. Jockey K. Gopal Rao, the rider of ATTATURK, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount during the race. SUN GOLD (Naushad Alam) sustained a cut injury on left fore cannon. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g PRASHASTHA. 3rd Race: 117. The January Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms) (9 Runners). Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge STYLE OF SIGNATURE. Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used. CASANOVA (C.D. Hayes) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates. Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of ADMIRAL, was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing MOUNTAIN RANGE (S. John) on his inside approaching the 200 Metres. 4th Race: 118. The Splendid Role Plate-Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners) Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to withdraw RED LAD (R. Pradeep) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 5th Race: 119. The K. Rama Rao Memorial Cup - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (8 Runners) RIP VAN WINKLE (P.S. Chouhan) could not get a clear run passing the 200 Metres due to a closely packed field. It was reported after the race that MAGISTERIAL (A. Imran Khan) pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained pastern. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate form the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 6th Race: 120. The Chief Minister's Trophy-(About) 2000 Metres. Indian horses 4 years old and over at the time of starting (Terms) (8 Runners). Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined a total sum of Rs.1,500/- for making errors pertaining to scratching form in respect of his charge YOURE SO BEAUTIFUL. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge SPARK OF GOLD. Trainer Mr. S. Padmananbhan was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge CLASSERVILLE. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge YOURE SO BEAUTIFUL. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge CIELO REY. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge BRAAVO. Jockey S. John, the rider of SPARK OF GOLD, reported that he lost his whip in the final 100 Metres of the race. 7th Race: 121. The R.H. Shaw Memorial Plate - Div.I -(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners) Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Karan Singh to withdraw DESERT REALM on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from fever. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to withdraw VALAHAK (S. John) on veterinary grounds as it was lame on left hind due to sprained stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey M. Kumar, the rider of JALDI, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to CITRALI (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside approaching the 350 Metres. GIFT OF LOVE (P.S. Chouhan) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right fore cannon. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g MONTEDORO. 8th Race: 122. The Splendid Role Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners) Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was fined Rs.500/- for using wrong coloured cap in respect of his charge SKY RIDER (S. John). Subsequently it was rectified with correct coloured cap. Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of WILD NEXUS, reported that his mount was lugging `in' in the straight. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. SEQUANA (Vinod Shinde) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future. An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of SUNSET GRILL trained by Mr. Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Jockey S. Selvaraj. The R.H. Charles Memorial Plate-(About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over at the time of starting. The Stewards ordered an enquiry into the improved performance of dk b g VOICE OF INDIA trained by Mr. Sharat Kumar and ridden by Jockey H.G. Rathod, the winner of this race as compared to its previous run in Race No.94 of the Bangalore Winter Meeting 2010-11 i.e. The Badami Plate Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65, on 25th December 2010 when ridden by Jockey Ahsan Qureshi it ran unplaced. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on Saturday, 8th January 2011 and examined trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar. After deliberations, they decided to give the benefit of doubt to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar at this instance and cautioned him as to maintaining consistency in the performance of his charges in future.
