Penetrometer Reading : 5.6 Cms.

(False Rails : Average Width of 4.5 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 9.0 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning Post.)

1st Race: 26. The November Plate -(About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (8 Runners).

PURPLE GLOW (A. Imran Khan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced FOREVER GLORY (Md. Shafiq) which in turn passed it on to AFRICAN QUEEN (C.D. Hayes) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

2nd Race: 27. The Bellary Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of SEVEN HEAVEN, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 250 Metres.

Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of GOLD TERN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g SEVEN HEAVEN.

3rd Race: 28. The Beloved Prince Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (8 Runners).

Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey C.D. Hayes to ride his charge SEVEN STAR without the consent of the rider. Hence he was permitted to declare Jockey S.A. De Sousa to ride his charge SEVEN STAR.

Jockey S. John, the rider of SAVVY CONCEPT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in' and causing interference to SEVEN STAR (S.A. De Sousa) which brushed the false rails passing the 1000 Metres.

Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of PRINCE NORBERT, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

Jockey S. John, the rider of SAVVY CONCEPT, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g RIP VAN WINKLE.

4th Race: 29. The Kabini Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (8 Runners).

Jockey M.J.GautamRajUrs, the rider of METHODICAL, reported that his saddle shifted back approaching the 400 Metres. After due examination of the saddle after the race, trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda (deputizing for trainer Mr. V. Lokanath) was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of SPARK OF SOLITAIRE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and taking out BRAAVO (S.A. De Sousa) on his outside approaching the 500 Metres.

SPARK OF SOLITAIRE (P.S.Chouhan) drifted under pressure in the final 150 Metres of the race.

BALAS GLORY (V.R. Jagadeesh) drifted out under pressure in the final 150 Metres of the race.

It was reported after the race that the left fore shoe of BALAS GLORY (V.R.Jagadeesh) had apparently come off during the race.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b c BRAAVO.

5th Race: 30. The M.S. Krishnappa Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over
(11 Runners).

RUBY LEGEND (A. Imran Khan) reared up as the gates opened and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

SON OF THE SOIL (I. Khan) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

TABLE MOUNTAIN (S. Chandrashekar) sustained a cut injury on left hind outer bulb of heel.

6th Race: 31. The P. Anthony Memorial Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners).

STORMYRED (C.D. Hayes) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped SOVIET MELODY (Md. Shafiq) on the inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

SARATOGA (Vivek) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped JALDI (Rajesh N.) on the outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of AMAZER, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course approaching the 900 Metres whereby he came in and tightened STORMYRED (C.D. Hayes) on his inside.

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of MOVES GOODENOUGH, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.

Jockey Vivek, the rider of SARATOGA, reported that his saddle shifted forward approaching the 1000 Metres and that he could not offer sufficient assistance to his mount thereafter. After due examination of the saddle after the race, trainer Mr. S. Britto was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ELUSIVE WAY.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda to deputise on behalf of trainer Mr. V. Lokanath who was unable to attend the races.
