1st  Race:    62. The Beginners Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners).

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of THE LAST FLING, reported that his mount was hanging `in' in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.  However trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 

2nd Race :    63. The Parfait Amour Plate-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was fined Rs.500/- for not using tongue strap on his charge NOT NOT SEVEN for which prior permission had been obtained.  Subsequently tongue strap was put on before the horse left the paddock.

Jockey S. Babu, the rider of BACK AMONG FRIENDS, reported that his mount was hanging `in' in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.  However trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan (deputizing for trainer Mr. Amit Caddy) was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUNSTORM. 

3rd  Race:    64. The J. Tyrrell Memorial Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

Jockey K. Gopal Rao, the rider of ATTRACTOR, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive and improper use of the whip on his mount during the race.

KRIPA (N. Rajesh) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hind cannon. 

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ATTRACTOR. 



4th  Race:    65. The Premium Spirit Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.2,000/- for not obtaining prior permission to use bandages on the hind legs of his charge SOUTHERN IMAGE (S. Mallikarjun).  Subsequently permission was granted to him to use it.  

ALLEGRO (Vivek) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind fetlock. 

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g WALTER. 

5th Race :    66. The Parfait Amour Plate-Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

SECRETARY GENERAL (A. Imran Khan) sustained a cut injury on right hind gaskin. 

Jockey B.L. Paswn, the rider of  SHAHIZAAR was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.  
 
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SENOR SPEEDY.

6th  Race:    67. The Galloping Acres Stud Plate - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (11 Runners).

CAMELOT (M. Kumar) bolted on the way to the starting gates and ran anti-clockwise riderless. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.  

THE LAST SAMURAI (N.Rajesh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 

SUNSPIRIT (Suraj Narredu) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hind fetlock. 

The saddle on SPARK OF ATAN (P.S. Chouhan) shifted over the withers soon after the start. An enquiry is being held into this incident.  

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g CAVALRY CHARGE.

7th Race :    68. The Racing Patrons Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (11 Runners).

Approaching the 300 Metres CORBETT (Ryan Marshall) accidentally struck the front runner SPARKING ADVENTURE (P. Kiran Rai) and stumbled dislodging its rider. 

It was reported after the race that on examination SPARKING ADVENTURE (P. Kiran Rai) had sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind  hock.   

It was reported after the race that SPARKING ADVENTURE (P. Kiran Rai) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder.  Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

8th Race:     69. The HDIL Bangalore 2000 Guineas (Grade II)-(About) 1600 Metres. For 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2007) (Terms) (11 Runners).

Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of THE DARLING BOY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a proper course rounding the final bend. 

Jockey S.A. De Sousa, the rider of BRAAVO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course thereby coming in and bumping APRILLIA (C.D. Hayes) on his inside approaching the 250 Metres. 

An enquiry is being held into the careless riding of Jockey A. Imran Khan on his mount  MAGISTERIAL in the above race, 

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:
