1st Race: 53. The December Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (12 Runners).
Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the declared rider of KARAN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not arriving in time to fulfill his riding engagement for the above race. Subsequently permission was granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh to substitute Jockey S. Mallikarjun to ride KARAN, in place of the declared rider.
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of POLARIS, reported that his mount was inclined to run out between the 900 Metres and 700 Metres. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
UNIQUE SHOW (B. Sreekanth) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c ZULTANITE.
2nd Race : 54. The Planetarium Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners).
Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of ALIANZ, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping QUEENS COLOUR (N. Ramesh Kumar) on his outside approaching the 1100 Metres.
Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring jockey Sikandar Ali Khan to ride his charge JEWEL LADY without the prior written consent of the Master Trainer Mr. Rakesh.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of INDRAVATI to the Stewards for the unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing). The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj and Jockey K. Raja Rao. After deliberations, they decided to (a) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey K. Raja Rao from 13-12-2010 to 22-12-2010 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount INDRAVATI in the above race (permitted to ride work); and (b) severely caution trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj as to the future running of his charges.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ALIANZ.
3rd Race: 55. The Star Luminary Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).
It was reported after the race that STAR OF DESIRE (N. Rajesh) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey V.R. Jagdeesh, the rider of BLACK BEAUTY, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of SUMMER WINE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to ONE COOL CAT (M. Prabhakaran) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres.
Jockey B.L.Paswan, the rider of FANTABULOUS STAR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence pertaining to "weighing `in".
4th Race: 56. The Sohna Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
It was reported after the race that the right fore shoe of SUPERB STYLE (Y.S. Srinath) had apparently come off during the race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SUNNY GOLD.
5th Race: 57. The Sohna Stud Plate-Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).
An objection was lodged by Mr. Darius Byramji, the trainer of COLONEL DUFF (N. Rajesh) placed 6th by the Judge against Jockey C.D. Hayes, the rider of SIX SHOOTER placed First for "the winner took my ground passing the 300 Metres and was riding into me and thereby my horse was hampered for room for nearly 100 Metres thereby costing me the race" The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji and Jockeys N. Rajesh & C.D. Hayes. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
Jockey C.D. Hayes, the rider of SIX SHOOTER, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not maintaining a straight course between 300 Metres and 200 Metres.
ANOTHER DESTINY (Y.S. Srinath) sustained gum injuries.
6th Race: 58. The Kumararajah M.A.M. Muthiah Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of LESTER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for travelling wide rounding the final bend and after entering the straight for no apparent reason.
7th Race : 59. The Bangalore Turf Club Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. For Indian Horses 3 years old and over (Terms) (8 Runners).
Trainer Mr.S. Ganapathy was fined a total sum of Rs.1,500/- for not declaring the weights in respect of his charges MAGNANIMITY, STAR ASSEMBLY and ORIGINALITY.
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge ATLANTUS.
Jockey S. John, the rider of KYLES OF BUTE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to RARE AND PRECIOUS (J.H. Christopher) on his inside approaching the 200 Metres.
8th Race: 60. The Bugs Bunny Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
SMART EXOTIC (Y.S. Srinath) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates.
AMAZING COLOUR (M.J. GautamRajUrs) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Jockey Naushad Alam, the rider of BEAUTIFUL LIFE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
RICH RADIANT (N. Rajesh) sustained bleeding cut injury on right gaskin.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g GUNPOWDER.
9th Race: 61. The A.R. Keshava Mudaliar Memorial Plate -(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge A MOVE TO REMEMBER as regards shoeing.
It was reported after the race that BID FOR GLORY (F.K. Shahbuddin) burst
its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan (deputizing for trainer Mr. Amit
Caddy) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's
Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

The Stewards at their meeting held on 25th November 2010 considered the report submitted by the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to the detection of the drug - Ranitidine (prohibited substance) in the urine sample taken from ch g SHOWERS OF LUCK after the horse was placed First in the above race on Saturday, 20th February 2010 owned by M/s. Ishwardas P. Chordia, Ramakant Kulkarni, Md. Minhaj Raza & Kyle Robinson and trained by Mr. S. Narredu
They examined trainer Mr. S. Narredu. After deliberations, they decided to fine him a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) for infringement of Medication Rules (in respect of his charge ch g SHOWERS OF LUCK in the above race) as contained in BTC Calendar Notification under the heading "Medication and treatment of horses in Training and Racing and Anti-Doping Control" reading as follows:
"The trainer is always responsible for the protection and security of
the horse in his care. The trainers are warned that they will be held
responsible if an examination of a horse, results in the finding of any
prohibited substances".

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu the rider of
SOUTHERN KING, to the Stewards for the excessive use of the whip on his mount
SOUTHERN KING in the above race (3rd infringement). The Stewards held an enquiry
on Thursday, 25th November 2010. They noted that Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu had
made a written submission stating that he would not be in a position to attend
the enquiry and that he would abide by the decision of the Stewards of BTC. In
view of the above the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's licence granted
to Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu with effect from 5-12-2010 to 11-12-2010 (both days
inclusive) for the excessive use of the whip on his mount SOUTHERN KING in the
above race (3rd infringement) (permitted to ride work).

The Stewards at their meeting held on Friday, 3rd December 2010 considered
the report submitted by the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to the detection of
the drug 16- Beta-Hydroxy-Stanozolol (metabolite of Stanozolol) - (prohibited
substance) from the urine sample was taken b m WIN PRETTYBABY on 18th March 2010
during Random Testing for Anabolic Steroids and Sex Hormones. The horse trained
by Mr. R.V. Manohar and owned by Mr. Srinivas Shankar.
They examined trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Trainer's Licence granted to trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar from 13-12-2010 to 12-1-2011 and fine him a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) for infringement of Medication Rules (in respect of his charge b m WIN PRETTYBABY) as contained in BTC Calendar Notification under the heading "Medication and treatment of horses in Training and Racing and Anti-Doping Control" reading as follows:
"The trainer is always responsible for the protection and security of the horse in his care. The trainers are warned that they will be held responsible if an examination of a horse, results in the finding of any prohibited substances".
