1st Race: 177. The Savadatti Plate-Div.II-(About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (11 Runners)

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of ARC ANGEL, was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing WINDSOR KNIGHT (D. Patel) on his inside passing the 250 Metres.

Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of SUDDEN MAGIC, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

2nd Race: 178. The Doddaballapur Plate-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. For Horses rated 00 to 25 (9 Runners)

SPENDID DANCER (B. Sreekanth) was extremely fractious in the starting gates whereby the rider was injured and certified medically unfit to ride. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

CORBETT QUEEN (N. Harsha) lost many lengths at the start, did not raise a fluent gallop and ran detached from the field. In view of its behaivour trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Md.Shafiq, the rider of SILVER COURT, was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing JEYEM (A. Ashok Kumar) on his inside passing the 200 Metres.

Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of JEYEM, reported that his mount was hanging in, in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of ABSENCE, reported that his mount was hanging `in' in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination it was reported to have burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Britto was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Sharath Kumar was questioned regarding the relatively improved performance of his charge ANGEL QUEEN, the winner of the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.134 of the BWM 2010-11 i.e. The Ullal Beach Plate-(About) 1200 Metres for horses rated 00 to 25 on 21-1-2011 when ridden by the same rider it ran unplaced. The trainer stated that (a) he had run his charge in 1600 Metres, 1200 Metres and 1400 Metres earlier and after its last run the rider suggested that it would be ideal for it to run over 1400 Metres, so he chose it to run in the above race; and (b) it was very un-genuine horse and had reached the bottom rating; (c) the company today was very poor; (d) although it won the race he did not fancy it considering its performance earlier ; and (e) he was surprised at its win. His explanations were noted.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ANGEL QUEEN.

3rd Race: 179. The Savadatti Plate-Div.I-(About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (10 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to withdraw SHIVALIK PRINCE (S. John) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on left fore due to sore shin. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of CINNAMON RUSH, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

4th Race: 180. The Doddaballapur Plate-Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres. For Horses rated 00 to 25 (10 Runners)

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of THE FIRST BULLET, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was questioned regarding the relatively improved performance of his charge BRAVE CAT (S. John), the winner of the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.132 of the BWM 2010-11 i.e The Ranganathittu Plate-(About) 1400 Metres for horses rated 20 to 45 on 14-1-2011 when ridden by Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh it ran unplaced. The trainer stated that (a) in Race No.132 his charge ran in a race for horses rated 20 to 45; (b) this time it was running in lower set and in a relatively poor bunch; (c) his charge must have started as a favourite since a better rider was riding it; and (d) it had worked better in morning trials since its last run; and (e) in a poor company with good assistance from the saddle it managed to win the race. His explanations were noted.

5th Race: 181. The Dashmesh Stud Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old & over (10 Runners)

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge LOCK AND LOAD as regards shoeing.

Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi (deputizing for trainer Mr. Warren Singh) was fined Rs.500/- for using wrong coloured cap on BRIGADE'S PRIDE (M.J.. Gautam Raj Urs). Subsequently it was rectified with correct coloured cap.

As Jockey B. Sreekanth was certified medically unfit to ride in the 2nd race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to substitute Jockey S. Zervan to ride MR AMBASSADOR in place of the declared rider.

CHINTZ (Santosh Kumar Das) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced BRIGADE'S PRIDE (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of BUCEPHALAS, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 200 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Jockey M. Mark, the rider of HATSUHANA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to LOWNDES SQUARE (Suraj Narredu) on his inside in the final 100 Metres of the race.

BRIGADE'S PRIDE (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi (deputizing for trainer Mr. Warren Singh) was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

It was reported after the race that LOWNDES SQUARE (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

BUCEPHALAS (P.S. Chouhan) sustained gum injury.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner WHAT A FRIEND.

6th Race: 182. The Ilkal Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old & over (8 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to substitute Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar to ride REDSHIFT in place of the declared rider.

Jockey N. Harsha, the rider of AMAZER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for losing position from 900 Metres till about the 600 Metres for no apparent reason.

7th Race: 183. The Narasimharaja Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. For Horses rated 80 and above (9 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Mohd. A. Abbas to withdraw SCIMITAR (F.K. Shabuddin) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from fever. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
8th Race: 184. The Gumbaz Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres.
For horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners)

As Jockey G. Adarsh, the declared rider of COOL WHISTLE was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey M. Kumar to ride COOL WHISTLE in place of the declared rider.

Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge ITS MY PARTY as regards shoeing.

WILD NEXUS (N. Rajesh) was examined on entering the paddock and was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained tendon. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Further enquiry is being held into this incident.

SUN DORO (S. Selvaraj) was extremely fractious in the starting gates whereby the rider was injured and certified medically unfit to ride. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

COOL WHISTLE (M. Kumar) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates.

Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of YOU'RE MY LIFE, reported that he lost his left stirrup soon after jumping out of the gates which he regained within 100 Metres of the start.

Jockey R. Pradeep, the rider of SEQUANA, was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing LEGEND REBORN (R. Vaideeshwaran) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g ITS MY PARTY.

9th Race: 185. The Amazing Grey Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old & over (12 Runners)

Trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge SNOW PEAKS as regards shoeing.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda to substitute Jockey Md. Shafiq to ride POWERFULDREAMS in place of the declared rider.

SUMMER WINE (Vinod Shinde) hit the gates while jumping out whereby the right stirrup iron broke and as such the Jockey had to ride without the aid of the equipment and could not offer any assistance to his mount throughout the race.

Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of SUN GOLD, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing FORESIGHT (R. Pradeep) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of RUBELLITE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 200 Metres of the race.

Jockey Valdir DeSousa, the rider of BLUE ORIGIN, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

Jockey Valdir DeSousa, the rider of BLUE ORIGIN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the improper act of hitting the horse with his hand after losing the whip.

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of RUBELLITE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

FORESIGHT (R. Pradeep) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hind fetlock.

10th Race: 186. The Dashmesh Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old & over (10 Runners)

Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge ROYAL PLAYER as regards shoeing.

Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of ALPHA BABY was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping SIX SHOOTER (M. Kumar) on his outside which in turn passed it on to HURRY ANNA (J.H. Christopher) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
