It rained heavily before the 8th race.

1st Race: 205. The Sivaganga Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over (8 Runners)

Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge YOUR DESTINY as regards shoeing.

GOOD COMPANION (Vivek) accidentally stumbled approaching the 250 Metres.

It was reported after the race that LEADING LADY (M. Kumar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda (deputizing for trainer Mr. V. Lokanath) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g VAYUPUTRA.

2nd Race: 206. The Jayanagar Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh to withdraw THUNDERING DON (Ramandeep S. Bal) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

PRINCESS COUP (S. Ramesh) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped EVERGLADES (P.S. Chouhan) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

DIVINE TOUCH (N. Rajesh) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SPARK OF DIABLO (A. Ashok Kumar) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

It was reported after the race that EVERGLADES (P.S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

DIVINE TOUCH (N. Rajesh) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.

3rd Race: 207. The Katil Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (11 Runners)

PARLIAMENT SQUARE (Vivek) was examined at the gates and was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of HILL STONE, reported that his mount was extremely fractious inside the gates whereby his whip got entangled in the gates and broke at the start.

Jockey M.A. Gallagher, the rider of STAR MARQUESS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

4th Race: 208. The A.V.R.Char Memorial Cup Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners)

ELLUSIVE SPEED (K.P.G. Appu) planted and took no part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

5th Race: 209. The Delhi Race Club Trophy - (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (7 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to withdraw CORBETT (Harish) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was fined Rs.2,000/- for changing the girth on his charge CAVALRY CHARGE (C.D. Hayes) after weighing out whereby the rider weighed in excess.

6th Race: 210. The Tumkur Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (9 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. G. Nityanand to withdraw PINAAKINI (N. Rajesh) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan to withdraw DRAMATIC DANCER (B. Sreekanth) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from fever. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey R. Koch, the rider of AMAR PREM, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.

Jockey Vivek, the rider of LUCKYNUMBERSLEVIN, was fined Rs.1,000/-for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

REFRESH (A. Ashhad Asbar) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hind bulb of heel.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m SARATOGA.

7th Race: 211. The A.V.R.Char Memorial Cup Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners)

It was reported after the race that ALL RISE (J.H. Christopher) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry is being held into the improved performance of CAMORRA, the winner of the above race trained by Mr. S.S. Attaollahi and ridden by Jockey C.D. Hayes as compared to its previous run in Race No.149 of the Bangalore Winter Meting 2010-11, i.e The Kollur Plate-Div.ii-(About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65 on 25th January 2011 when ridden by Jockey David Allan it ran unplaced.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey C.D. Hayes to the Stewards for the excessive use of the whip on his mount CAMORRA (3rd infringement) during the race. The Stewards held an enquiry before the first race on 26-2-2011 and examined Jockey C.D. Hayes. After deliberations they decided to suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey C.D. Hayes from 8-3-2011 to 12-3-2011 for violation of Calendar Notification regarding the use of whip on his mount CAMORRA in the above race (permitted to ride work).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b c CAMORRA.

8th Race: 212. The Alchemy Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners)

Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for his negligence in accepting his charge dk b mg WILD NEXUS to run in the above race when the said horse was under veterinary treatment. Subsequently it was withdrawn from the above race.
