1st Race: 213. The Infants Plate-Div.III-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (11 Runners)
Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge RAPPADAN GLORY as regards shoeing.
Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge MOONLIGHT SHADOW as regards shoeing.
MAVERICAL (B. Sreekanth) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced TURF FAME (Vivek) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of ABILITY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to MOONLIGHTSHADOW (Ramandeep S Bal) on his inside approaching the 800 Metres.
It was reported after the race that the right fore shoe of TURF FAME (Vivek) had apparently come off during the race.
It was reported after the race that the right hind shoe of MAVERICAL (B. Sreekanth) had apparently come off during the race.
It was reported after the race that PANAMERA (S.A. DeSousa) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
2nd Race: 214. The Bhagamandala Plate - (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (6 Runners).
ALLEZ VITE (C.D. Hayes) stumbled soon after jumping out of the starting gate.
Jockey M.A. Gallagher, the rider of APPOLONAIRE, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently during the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination it was reported to have pulled up lame on right fore due to inflamed tendon. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary examination before accepting with it again.
3rd Race: 215. The Infants Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (10 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan to withdraw SAYYONEE (Mohd. Ghouse).
MIGROLINO (S.A. DeSousa) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
SUPREME REGENT (D. Patel) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
ALPINE SHINE (B. Sreekanth) sustained a cut injury on left fore cannon.
4th Race: 216. The Mudabidri Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (8 Runners)
I FANCY YOU (M. Kumar) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g PRITVI.
5th Race: 217. The Infants Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (11 Runners)
Jockey M.A. Gallagher, the rider of FOREST REGENT, reported that his mount was running out from 900 Metres to 600 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
6th Race: 218. The Governor's Trophy-(About) 1600 Metres. 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2008) (Terms) (7 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to withdraw LADY KLEIO on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on right quarter. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. S. Ganapaty was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in Declaration of Weight in respect of his charge MAGNITUDE.
It was observed that SEVERSTAHL (S. John) was hanging in, in the final 200 Metres of the race. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey David Allan , the rider of MAGNITUDE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f MAGNITUDE.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b c CASTRO.
CASTRO (C.D. Hayes) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on scoping it was reported to have burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
7th Race: 219. The Varada Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)
Jockey N. Rajesh, the rider of SWEET TIMER, reported that he lost his right stirrup soon after jumping out of the starting gates which he regained wtithin 50 Metres.
Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of LOGANS RUN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not
making effort to improve his position till about rounding the final bend.
8th Race: 220. The Ramnagar Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners)
Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of FIRE STAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping IDEAL MATCH (Suraj Narredu) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of BON GIORNO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to ANOTHER VOICE (S. John) on his outside which in turn passed it on to QUEENS COLOUR (Vivek) on the far side before passing the red marker post.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of IDEAL MATCH, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out COUNT ROYAL (S. Guruprasad) on his outside which in turn passed it on to ANOTHER VOICE (S. John) approaching the 1100 Metres.
Jockey S. Guruprasad, the rider of COUNT ROYAL, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUPER SURPRISE.

5th Race: 163. The D.P.Sharma Memorial Sprinters Trial Stakes (About) 1200 Metres. For Indian Horses 4 year old and over at the time of starting. (Terms)
The Stipendiary Stewards reported trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to the Stewards for the negligence in the performance of his duties (Rule No.114(b)(i) with regard to lodging of scratching form in respect of his charge ch g RED RENEGADE. The Stewards held an enquiry before the 1st Race on 26th February 2011 and examined trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan. After deliberations, they decided to severely caution trainer Mr. Padmanabhan as to the fulfillment of his responsibility as a trainer in future.

An enquiry was held pertaining to the withdrawal of horse WILD NEXUS (trained by Mr. B. Prithviraj) on veterinary grounds on entering the paddock. After examination of the trainer, his explanations were noted.
