1st Race: 221. The Ardent Knight Trophy - Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (11 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to withdraw CINNAMON RUSH (K.P.G. Appu) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey D. Patel, the rider of BOURBON ROCK, reported that his mount which was fractious, jumped out awkwardly whereby he got unbalanced and lost his left stirrup at the start which he regained within the 100 Metres.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of LIGHTNING EXPRESS, reported that his mount was drifting out under pressure during the final stages of the race.
LIGHTNING EXPRESS (V.R. Jagadeesh) sustained a cut injury on right shoulder.
2nd Race: 222. The Tungabhadra Plate-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (10 Runners)
It was reported after the race that GLORY BOUND (B. Sreekanth) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Mohd A. Abbas was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that GLITTERATO (Md. Akbar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda (deputizing for trainer Mr. V. Lokanath) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SIMPLY PHENOMENAL.
3rd Race: 223. The Ardent Knight Trophy - Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres.
Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (11 Runners)
Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for his negligence in accepting his charge HOT STUFF to run in the above race when the said horse was under veterinary treatment. Subsequently it was withdrawn from the above race.
Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence in not intimating his charge ANGAD ((Ramandeep S Bal) having been gelded.
As Jockey Vivek was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 2nd race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to substitute Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh to ride SUNRICH in place of the declared rider.
Jockey C. Ruzaan, the rider of CAPOTE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
4th Race: 224. The Tungabhadra Plate-Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (9 Runners)
THE CONTENDER (S. Ramesh) took a fly jump.
SPARK OF SOLITAIRE (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) planted and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g LESTER.
5th Race: 225. The Nilgiris Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar to substitute Jockey M. Mark to ride SPARK OF ISIS in place of the declared rider.
TUTHMOSIS (F.K. Shabuddin) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was reported to be otherwise sound excepting that it had sharp molars. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence. In view of its performance he was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

6th Race: 226. The Karwar Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners)
As Jockey Vinod Shinde was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal to substitute Jockey A Ashhad Asbar to ride MAN DOWN UNDER in place of the declared rider.
As Jockey H.G. Rathod was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 4th race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey S. Mallikarjun to ride FLEETING SPIRIT in place of the declared rider.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g THRILLSEEKER.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of DROP OF HONEY to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in that he shifted in and caused interference to WALTER (R. Pradeep) on his inside which in turn passed it on to AANCHAL'S PRIDE (M. Kumar) along the rails approaching the 900 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined the Jockey's concerned. After deliberations, they severely cautioned Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran as to exercising control over his mounts in future.
7th Race: 227. The Gadag Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey S. Mallikarjun to ride FANTABULOUS STAR in place of the declared rider.
PLAKA (A. Ashaad Asbar) stood at the gates and lost a couple of lengths at the start. In view of its behaivour trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey N. Ganesh, the rider of INDIAN ROYALTY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to PLAKA (A. Ashhad Asbar) on his inside approaching the 400 Metres.
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of PLAKA reported that he could not get
a clear run approaching the 300 Metres due to a closely packed field.
PLAKA (A. Ashhad Asbar) sustained a cut injury on right hock.
8th Race: 228. The Manasa Sarovara Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners)
It was observed that Jockey F.K. Shabuddin, the rider of SWIFT STAR, lost its left stirrup soon after jumping out of the starting gates and got unbalanced, in the process his mount shifted in and inconvenienced the horses on the inside viz. SPARK OF HARMONY (Afsar) and OCEANIC WIND (B. Sreekanth) before passing the red marker post.
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of DON DIEGO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to OCEANIC WIND (B. Sreekanth) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey M.A. Gallagher, the rider of MOVES GOODENOUGH, was fined Rs.5,000/- for the improper riding on his mount in that he severely tightened VALAHAK (S. John) on his inside rounding the final bend.
Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of SUPER GOLD, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres due to the crowding of the field.
Jockey F.K. Shabuddin, the rider of SWIFT STAR, reported that he lost his whip in the final 150 Metres of the race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g VALAHAK.

211. The A.V.R.Char Memorial Cup Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65
An enquiry was held into the improved performance of CAMORRA, the winner of the above race trained by Mr. S.S. Attaollahi and ridden by Jockey C.D. Hayes in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.149 of the Bangalore Winter Meting 2010-11, i.e The Kollur Plate-Div.ii-(About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65 on 25th January 2011 when ridden by Jockey David Allan it ran unplaced. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on 11th March, 2011 and examined trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi. After deliberations, they decided to severely caution trainer MR. S.S. Attaollahi as to maintaining consistency in the performance of his charges in future.
