1st Race: 237.The B.A.R.I. Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (9 Runners)
As Jockey C. Krishnan was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to substitute Jockey S. Babu to ride SUMMER SUN in place of the declared rider.
Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of VEGA, reported that his mount was lugging in after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to take remedial measures before accepting with it again.
2nd Race: 238. The Gokarna Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (10 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey M. Mark to ride CORBETT QUEEN, in place of the declared rider.
CORBETT QUEEN (M. Mark) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates.
Jockey S. John, the rider of ANOTHER VOICE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to QUEENS COLOUR (Irvan Singh) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of THUNDERING DON, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey S. John, the rider of ANOTHER VOICE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 100 Metres of the race thereby inconveniencing UNCHALLENGED (Valdir DeSousa) on his inside.
Jockey S. John, the rider of ANOTHER VOICE, placed second by the Judge
objected against Jockey Valdir DeSousa, the rider of UNCHALLENGED placed first
for "in the last 100 Metres the winner came on to me and the stride of my
horse was broken which cost me a certain race". The Stewards held an
enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After
deliberations, they decided to (a) overrule the objection; and (b) forfeit the
deposit of Rs.2,500/- paid by Jockey S. John towards the objection as they
considered the objection to be a frivolous one.
3rd Race: 239. The B.A.R.I. Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (10 Runners)
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SHOW TIME.
4th Race: 240. The N.E. Raymond Memorial Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (8 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the Starting Declaration in respect of his charge IN THE ZONE as regards shoeing.
It was reported after the race that REDFORD (Afsar) pulled up lame on left hind due to sprained pastern joint. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey T. Bernard, the rider of YOU'RE WONDERFUL, was fined Rs.5,000/- for
not making sufficient on his mount during the race.
Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of DRAMATIC DANCER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st Infringement).

5th Race: 241. The Talkad Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners)
EVERYDAY SUNDAY (S. Mallikarjun) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g FAME AND GLORY.
6th Race: 242. The Sringeri Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (10 Runners)
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of HILL RISING trained by Mr. Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Jockey S. Selvaraj.
7th Race: 243. The N.E. Raymond Memorial Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (9 Runners)
It was reported after the race that LEON CAVALLO (R. Vaideeshwaran) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was fined Rs.5,000/- for the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge SUPREME ARCH (V.R. Jagadeesh), the winner of the above race as compared to its run in Race No.222, The Tungabhadra Plate-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65, 5 year old and over, run on 11th March 2011 when ridden by Jockey M. Mark it ran unplaced.

8th Race: 244. The Gokarna Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (10 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey M.
Mark to ride SILVER SCEPTRE in place of the declared rider.
THE FIRST BULLET (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) took a fly jump thereby momentarily unbalancing the rider at the start. It drifted out badly passing the 600 Metres and ran on to the outer edge of the grass track. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. In view of its continued erratic behaviour trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was once again informed to take necessary corrective measures and not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
