1st Race: 150. The Nethravathi Trophy - Div. II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners)

As Jockey M. Mark was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar to substitute Jockey P. Ramesh to ride MERCUTIO in place of the declared rider.

Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah, was fined Rs.2,000/- for changing of girth and sircingle on his charge MELLONSDELIGHT (Vivek) after weighing out resulting in the Jockey weighing in excess in relation to weighing out.

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of MAGIC WAVE, reported that his saddle shifted over the withers passing the 1000 Metres. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey P. Ramesh, the rider of MERCUTIO, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

2nd Race: 151. The Indian Republic Trophy - (About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (7 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Darius Byramji to withdraw YAS MARINA (S. Zervan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left hind due to sprained stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ROYAL SURPRISE (Imran Chisty) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

It was reported after the race that ACE BLOOD (Anthony Crastus) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c HILL DIORO.
3rd Race: 152. The N.R.C.E. Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Indian Horses 3 years old only (11 Runners)

SUPER STORM (Suraj Narredu) dislodged its rider on the way to the starting gates and ran riderless anti clockwise. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

Jockey Samuel Fargeat, the rider of AUBURN BEAUTY, reported that his mount suddenly veered out approaching the 800 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

4th Race: 153. The Bharachukki Cup - (About) 1200 Metres.
For horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners)

Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs 10,000/- by the Stewards for Contravention of General Condition 5 of the Prospectus of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2011-12 in accepting his charge IBELIEVEINMIRACLES to run in the above race and also in Race No.154 of the day. Subsequently the horse was withdrawn from the above race.

Jockey T. Bernard, the rider of JAANVI, was fined Rs.5,000/- for the improper and extravagant use of whip on his mount during the race.

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of DIAMOND FLAME, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.

It was observed that SOMERSET ROSE (Anthony Crastus) gradually packed up after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have sharp molars on both the lower jaw. Hence Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence. The Club's Veterinary Officer subsequently reported that on examination of the horse it was found to be lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. An enquiry is being held into the running of ch f SOMERSET ROSE (Anthony Crastus) in the above race.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from ch f SOMERSET ROSE.

5th Race: 154. The Nethravathi Trophy - Div. I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners)

Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of APOLLO KING, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ARTIC BREEZE (Vivek) on his inside which in turn passed it on to IBELIEVEINMIRACLES (Suraj Narredu) along the rails. As a result IBELIEVEINMIRACLES (Suraj Narredu) had to be checked by its rider and shifted out thereby causing interference to INDIAN PRIDE (V.R. Jagadeesh) which passed it on to SHADES OF SCARLET (Khurshad Alam) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres.

6th Race: 155. The Bangalore Derby (Grade- I) (About) 2400 Metres. For 4 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2008) (Terms) (11 Runners)

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II & III placed horses viz:

7th Race: 156. The Vidhana Soudha Cup-Div.I-(About) 1400
Metres. For horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)

Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of CASH IS KING, reported that his mount gradually slowed down in the final 200 Metres of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey Samuel Fargeat, the rider of SMART EXOTIC, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

INDRAVATI (P. Kiran Rai) sustained gum injury.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SMART EXOTIC.

8th Race: 157. The Mysore Race Club Trophy - (About) 1600
Metres. For Indian Horses 4 years old and over at the time of starting (10 Runners).

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of RED RENEGADE, was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m STRING ALONG.

9th Race: 158. The Vidhana Soudha Cup -Div.II-(About) 1400
Metres. For horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)

Jockey M. Prabhakaran the rider of THRILLSEEKER was fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to EMERALD (S. John) and AMAZER (M.A. Milan) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey P. Mani, the rider of MARK OF GENIUS reported that he lost his whip passing the 200 metres.

ORDER OF THE BOARD OF APPEAL

Wrong Track Number

On an application made by Trainer Mr. S. Santosh Rao, the Board of Appeal decided to stay the operation of the punishment imposed on Trainer Mr. S. Santosh Rao (whose trainer's licence was suspended by the Stewards from 29-1-2012 to 31-3-2012 for violation of BTC Calendar Notification under the heading "Carrying of Identification Saddle Cloth with Numbers on Horses working on the Tracks or any part of the premises of the Race Course" in respect of his charge b g SAMRAT on 3rd January 2012) pending hearing and disposal of his appeal .
