1st Race: 167. The Lalitmahal Stakes -Div.II-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners)
THUNDER (Kuldeep Singh) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until it behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of HATCHET HARRY, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing CHAMPAGNE ON ICE (Tauseef Ahmed) on his outside in the final 100 Metres of the race.
It was reported after the race that EVERGLADES (B. Harish) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Vivek, the rider of LOVING FANTASY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
SACHIN (M.A. Milan) sustained a cut injury on right fore pastern.
CUTE ANGEL (S. John) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind cannon.
CHAMPAGNE ON ICE (Tauseef Ahmed) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BRIGADE'S PARADISE.
2nd Race: 168. The Smt. Saraswati Sajnani Memorial Cup -Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. For horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners)
Jockey Kuldeep Singh, the rider of SPEED BOAT, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to the horses on his inside viz. ASTONISHING (Anthony Crastus), GIFT OF LOVE (B. Nayak) which were checked by their respective riders. HILLSTONE (B.L. Paswan) running directly behind also had to be checked by its rider.
Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of ONE TIME MAGIC was severely reprimanded for
not exercising sufficient control over his mount whereby he allowed it to hit
the false rails and was dislodged from his mount passing the 1000 Metres.
Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of BEN TEN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the
improper use of the whip on his mount during the race whereby he shifted out and
inconvenienced AFFIRMATIVE (Suraj Narredu) on his outside in the final 150
Metres.
Jockey Kuldeep Singh, the rider of SPEED BOAT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
It was reported after the race that SPEED BOAT (Kuldeep Singh) pulled up lame on right fore due to a sprained tendon. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that AFFIRMATIVE (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
HILLSTONE (B.L. Paswan) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.
3rd Race: 169. The Lalitmahal Stakes -Div.I-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners)
BISCOTTI (Anjar Alam) was extremely fractious, reared up and flipped over at the starting gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.
Jockey Md Akbar, the rider of BOLZANO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to COWBOY CAL (S. Mallikarjun) on his inside which in turn passed it on to SICILY (Tauseef Ahmed) on the far side passing the 800 Metres.
Trainer Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in
shoeing in respect of his charge VIVA DIVA (Imran Chisty) (1st infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f VIVA DIVA.
4th Race: 170. The Hurricane Stud Stakes - Div.II- (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old & over (10 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge SUPERB STYLE. Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of LAD FURY trained by Mr. Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Jockey Anjar Alam.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of GAME DANCER, reported that his mount was
hanging out after rounding the final bend. The horse was impounded for
veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.
LAD FURY (Anjar Alam) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
THE SPARTAN (S. John) sustained a cut injury on right hock.
5th Race: 171. The Smt. Saraswati Sajnani Memorial Cup -Div.I-(About) 1200
Metres. For horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw HALO OF REVERENCE (J. Pradeep) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
LAD STAR (A. Ramu) was extremely fractious while being paraded in the paddock and sustained a fall. Hence it was permitted to be withdrawn.
DECORATED (Imran Chisty) accidentally stumbled approaching the 700 Metres.
Jockey S. John, the rider of FREE LAW, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming out
under the use of whip and causing interference to DECORATED (Imran Chisty) on
his outside in the final 200 Metres.
It was reported after the race that ULTIMATE FANTASY (M. Noornabi) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
6th Race: 172. The Forever Elegance Stakes - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners)
SHAHRAAN (Kuldeep Singh) after jumping out shifted out and inconvenienced INVINCIBLE SHOT (Vinod Shinde) on his outside.
RUDOLPH (A. Ashok Kumar) after jumping out swerved towards the left dislodging its rider. Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the rider of CATAMARAN, reported that his saddle shifted back in the final 100 Metres of the race. After due examination of the equipment, trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of YOURE GORGEOUS trained by Mr. Pradeep Annaiah and ridden by Jockey T. Bernard.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g CATAMARAN.
7th Race: 173. The Hurricane Stud Stakes - Div.I- (About) 1200 Metres. Horses
rated 60 to 85, 5 years old & over (10 Runners)
It was observed that Jockey N. Ramesh Kumar, the rider of ICE MINT hit the starting gates while jumping out, lost his right stirrup and rode without the aid of the equipment, as such he could not offer sufficient assistance to his mount thereafter. After due examination of the equipment it was found to have been otherwise well maintained and as such no further action was taken.
It was reported after the race that LADS GLADIATOR (P.S. Chouhan) lost its right fore shoe during the race.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch m FLORIDA.
8th Race: 174. The Savadatti Stakes - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (10 Runners)
SUMITOMO (J. Pradeep) was extremely fractious in the starting stall whereby the rider was injured and certified medically unfit to ride. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
VOLCANO (Harish) was extremely fractious in the starting stall. Under the
circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's
orders.

After due enquiry Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of CORLEONE, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Anthony Crastus, the rider of SOMERSET ROSE, for contravention of Rule No.167(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his mount. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on Tuesday, 31st January 2012 and examined Mr. S.S. Attaollahi, Spokesman for Jockey Anthony Crastus and the Jockey himself. After deliberations, they severely cautioned Jockey Anthony Crastus to be more careful in such matters in future and that repetition would be viewed seriously.
