1st Race: 114. The Glass House Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (12 Runners)
NICKEL CHROME (P.S. Chouhan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced WREKIN (S. John) and ATHLETIC STAR (Suraj Narredu) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of JEYEM'S PRIDE, reported that his mount was inclined to run out between the 800 Metres and 600 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
ATHLETIC STAR (Suraj Narredu) suddenly shied away from the birds flying off from the race track approaching the 200 Metres whereby the rider got totally unbalanced and was dislodged from his mount and the horse ran riderless thereafter.
Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of OPEN PAGE, reported that as he was inconvenienced by the riderless horse ATHLETIC STAR in front of him and as such he could not ride out his mount fully in the final 100 Metres.
Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of BURST OF STARDUST, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of NOCTURNAL HUNTER, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
NOCTURNAL HUNTER (Ryan Marshall) sustained a cut injury on right fore fetlock and left hind coronet.
2nd Race : 115. The Splendid Role Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of THEJAGUAR, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend and after entering the straight for no apparent reason.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of YOUNG ACHIEVER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
GORGEOUS GOLD (R. Vaibhav) sustained gum injury.
3rd Race : 116. The Malpe Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners).
STRIVE AND SERVE (F.K. Shabuddin) after jumping out, swerved towards the left and did not raise a fluent gallop for the first 200 Metres. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
SILVER STONE (Adarsh G) after jumping out, swerved towards the right and did not raise a fluent gallop. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey F.K. Shabuddin, the rider of STRIVE AND SERVE, reported that he lost his right stirrup at the start which he regained within a few strides.
Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of HILLFIGER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.
HILLFIGER (Anjar Alam) sustained cut injury on right hind fetlock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g SUNDAY STORM.
4th Race : 117. The Kitty Bank Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to withdraw ALIANZ on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to inflammed suspensory ligament. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again
BID FOR GLORY (M. Mark) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
VOODOO MOON (F.K. Shabuddin) after jumping out, swerved towards the left and went on to the outer sand track. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey F.K. Shabuddin, the rider of VOODOO MOON, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey Harish, the rider of FAME AND GLORY, reported that his mount was galloping in snatches throughout the race as such he could not ride out in the final 100 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of STAR OF STARS, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

5th Race : 118. The Malpe Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners).
Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey M. Noornabi to ride his charge ULTIMATE FANTASY without the prior approval of the master Trainer.
It was reported after the race that ANOTHER DESTINY (Ahsan Qureshi) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again

6th Race : 119. The Bangalore Oaks (Grade II)-(About) 2400 Metres. 4 year old Indian Fillies (foaled in 2008) (Terms) (9 Runners).
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of LAD LADY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to DANCERELLA (S. John) which in turn tightened RADICAL ATTRACTION (Samuel Fargeat) which hit the false rails approaching the 1700 Metres.
Jockey Dashrat Singh, the rider of SAGANAKI, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and taking out AT THE HELM (Ryan Marshall) on his outside between the 1000 Metres and 900 Metres.
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of AT THE HELM reported that SAGANAKI (Dashrat Singh) struck the hind leg of his mount passing the 900 Metres and he pulled up his mount approaching the 800 Metres. On immediate examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer it was found to have sustained fracture of right hind pastern (P1). Hence it was euthanized.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of LAD LADY, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres.
RADICAL ATTRACTION (Samuel Fargeat) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right stifle.

7th Race: 120. The New Year Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Indian horses 4 years old and over at the time of starting (Terms) (11 Runners).
BHAGIRATHI (B.L.Paswan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced ONE LIFE TO LOVE (David Allan) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of BHAGIRATHI, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course before passing the red marker post.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b h OPTIMUS PRIME.
8th Race : 121. The K. Rama Rao Memorial Trophy - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of VOICE OF INDIA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to KILIMANJARO (Martin J. Dwyer) on his inside approaching the 300 Metres.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of KILIMANJARO trained by Mr. S. Padmanabhan and ridden by Jockey Martin J. Dwyer.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from dk b g KILIMANJARO.
9th Race : 122. The Splendid Role Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar to withdraw WALTZ AWAY
(M.A. Milan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right
fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's
Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
As Jockey Ryan Marshall was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 6th Race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Dominic (deputizing for trainer Mr. S. Britto) to substitute Jockey Vivek to ride FRUIT KING in place of the declared rider.
Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of CHANTILLY JEWEL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to TERN ME ON (Arshad Alam) on his outside soon after the start and for coming in sharply before the red marker post.
COOL WHISTLE (A. Ashok Kumar) reared up as the gates opened and stumbled
while jumping out of the starting gates.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f MOUNTAIN BEAUTY.

Apprentice Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of HILLARIOUS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for carrying a whip in the Mock Race when he was not permitted to do so.

96. The Badami Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of CHUL BUL PANDY to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in that he came in and caused interference to SOVETSKAYA (Anthony Crrastus) which in turn passed it on to ANOTHER DESTINY (Ahsan Qureshi) passing the 1000 Metres and again shifted in and caused interference to SOVETSKAYA (Anthony Crastus) passing the 400 Metres and 250 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on 7-1-2012 and examined Mr. Irfan Ghatala, spokesman for Jockey B.L. Paswan and the Jockey himself. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey B.L. Paswan from 18-1-2012 to 25-1-2012 (both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.5,000/- for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount CHUL BUL PANDY in the above race (permitted to ride work).
