1st Race : 16. The Master Key Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).
BOUNTY HUNTER (A. Ramu) planted, lost many lengths, did not raise a fluent gallop and ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey T. Bernard, the rider of COOL WHISTLE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was questioned regarding the performance of his charge ROSIE'S DREAM in the above race. The trainer stated that (a) it did not have any form to go by other than finishing Third in Race No.46 of the Mysore Races 2011; (b) he could not attribute as to how his charge ran as such a strong favourite in the above race; (c) it had not worked that exceptionally well too; and (d) it was a light framed filly and he did not fancy it much to win, but gave it a chance. His explanations were noted.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. Babu, the rider of MAGIC WAVE, to the Stewards for contravention of Rule No. 159(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan and Jockey S Babu. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) caution trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan as to the future running of his charges as also as to the selection of riders for his charges in future; and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey S. Babu from 22-11-2011 to 31-3-2012 (both days inclusive) not to permit him to ride work during the period of suspension of his licence for contravention of Rule No. 159(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount MAGIC WAVE in the above race.
2nd Race : 17. The Master Key Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge HILLSTONE.
ROYAL TAURIAN (S. Babu) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
FIELD OF DREAM (K. Raja Rao) veered out between 800 Metres and 600 Metres despite the best effort of the rider. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
3rd Race: 18. The Madras Race Club Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. For 3-year-old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2008) (Terms) (5 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the
starting declaration in respect of his charge SHOW TIME.
COLOUR OF MONEY (Y.S. Srinath) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced FREE LAW (M.A. Gallagher) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SHOW TIME.
4th Race: 19. The Trombay Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal to withdraw HAMSAFAR (N. Rajesh) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock joint. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
As Jockey Tauseef Ahmed was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to substitute Jockey T. Bernard to ride TRILLION WIN in place of the declared rider.
SHOT OF GOLD (S.K. Paswan) planted, swerved towards the left after jumping out and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
WALTER (R. Anand) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Jockey M.A. Gallagher, the rider of GUNPOWDER, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing WINDSOR PARK (Ryan Marshall) on his inside approaching the 600 Metres.
It was reported after the race that GLORY BOUND (Harish) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Mohd. A Abbas was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that SPARK OF LEGEND (B. Sreekanth) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SHOWERS OF LUCK (C. Krishnan) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind
fetlock.
5th Race: 20. The Pratap Stud Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (7 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge HILL DIORO.
CAMELOT (R. Vaibhav) was extremely fractious at the starting gates bolted and ran riderless round the course. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c SPEED SIX.
6th Race: 21. The B.P. Shivan Memorial Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to withdraw SABARI (R. Vaideeshwaran) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left hind due to injury on cannon bone. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Mohd. Ghouse, the rider of SIX SHOOTER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.
Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal and Jockey Suraj Narredu were questioned regarding the running and riding of MARIE CURIE in the above race. The trainer stated that (a) his charge was running after a gap of 3 months; (b) his riding instructions were to jump out, use her up in the early part and ride from the mid bunch and after entering the straight pull her out and do his best; (c) after the race the rider stated that his charge took time to get going despite his best effort he could only finish a close second; and (d) he was satisfied with Jockey Suraj Narredu's riding and he did not take any exception. The Jockey while corroborating the statement of the trainer, added that having been drawn 10 he could not come in and had to travel on the outside of the field throughout the race and despite his best efforts could only finish Second. Their explanations were noted.

7th Race: 22. The Garden City Trophy - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (8 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge SUN ABSOLUTE.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUN ABSOLUTE, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course rounding the final bend.
Jockey Samuel Fargeat, the rider of MIDTOWN MAGIC, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course rounding the final bend.
It was reported after the race that MIDTOWN MAGIC (Samuel Fargeat) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

8th Race : 23. The V. Gopal Memorial Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
Jockey N. Ganesh, the rider of KIRTLING, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not improving his position from 900 Metres till about rounding the final bend.
LIVING LEGEND (Vivek) sustained bleeding cut injury on left fore cannon.
9th Race: 24. The B.P. Shivan Memorial Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).
Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of SCARLET KNIGHT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for
shifting out and causing interference to SUGRIV (R.Vaideeshwaran) on his outside
soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of THRILLSEEKER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to AMAR PREM (R. Koch) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
SUGRIV (R. Vaideeshwaran) sustained bleeding cut injury on right fore cannon.
