1st Race: 32. The Gangavathi Trophy - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms) (8 Runners).

Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of VIVA DIVA, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f NO DOUBT.

2nd Race: 33. The Gangavathi Trophy - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms) (9 Runners).

3rd Race: 34. The Chamarajanagar Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of MAKE MY DAY, was reprimanded for shifting in and bumping CAPRIOSKA (R. Anand) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Ladjadj Stephane, the rider of YAS MARINA, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing MAKE MY DAY (R. Vaibhav) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres.

Jockey Harish, the rider of SPARK OF SILVER, was reprimanded for inconveniencing SOBERANO (Anjar Alam) on his inside passing the 300 Metres.

Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of MAKE MY DAY was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to NESSIE (R. Vaideeshwaran) on his inside approaching the 200 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g GLUTEUS MAXIMUS.



4th Race: 35. The T. Dougall Memorial Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners).

Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of RADICAL ATTRACTION, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to AT THE HELM (Ryan Marshall) which in turn passed it on to ARABIAN GOLD (Samuel Fargeat) on his inside approaching the 1400 Metres.

Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of STRIVE AND SERVE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to AT THE HELM (Ryan Marshall) on his inside approaching the 1300 Metres.

Jockey Anthony Crastus, the rider of CAFÉ DEL MONTE, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres due to a closely packed field.

ONE TIME MAGIC (S. Babu) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

ONE TIME MAGIC (S. Babu) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind pastern.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f AT THE HELM.

5th Race: 36. The Kempegowda Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (10 Runners).

Jockey Vivek, the rider of ACCURATE, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 250 Metres due to a closely packed field.

TALISKER (M. Kumar) sustained gum injury.

6th Race: 37. The Half A Crown Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of SHOWERS OF LUCK, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting in and causing very severe interference to BLUE ORIGIN (Jorge Horcajada) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.

It was reported after the race that LEADING LADY (A. Ashok Kumar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. V. Loknath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Jorge Horcajada, the rider of BLUE ORIGIN, placed Second by the Judge objected against Jockey P. Mani, the rider of YOURE STUNNING placed First for "crowding in the initial part whereby I had to check and for shifting out inside in the last furlong when my horse had just began to raise a gallop thereby I had to shift course towards the inside and stop riding that cost me a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations they decided to overrule the objection.



Jockey P. Mani, the rider of YOURE STUNNING, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not maintaining a straight course approaching the 200 Metres.

An enquiry was ordered and held by the Stewards into the running and riding of MERCUTIO trained by Mr. S. Dominic and ridden by Jockey P.S. Chouhan. They examined trainer Mr. S. Dominic and Jockey P.S. Chouhan after the last race. After deliberations, they decided to note the explanations tendered by them. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed to take appropriate remedial measures to improve the behaviour of his charge MERCUTIO in future.

SHOWERS OF LUCK (D.K. Ashish) sustained cut injuries on right hind fetlock.

YOURE STUNNING (P. Mani) sustained cut injuries on both hind fetlock.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr g YOURE STUNNING.

7th Race: 38. The Swarnamukhi Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of RAPPADAN GLORY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for having accepted two rides in the above race. Subsequently permission was granted to him to ride RAPPADAN GLORY.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to declare Jockey N. Ganesh to ride MONREALE.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan to withdraw SAYYONEE on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from Colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of RAPPADAN GLORY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to MISS CHING (Samuel Fargeat) on his inside which in turn passed it on to BRABUS SPEED (J.H. Christopher) before passing the red marker post.

Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of RISE TO GLORY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz. SANDHURST (R. Vaibhav), MONREALE (N. Ganesh) and SUTTON PRINCE (P.S. Chouhan) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

SUTTON PRINCE (P.S. Chouhan) violently veered in and hit the false rails approaching the 1300 Metres and again behaved in a similar manner approaching the 1000 Metres despite the efforts of the rider. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian, take appropriate corrective measures and not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.






SUTTON PRINCE (P.S. Chouhan) sustained bleeding cut injury on right shoulder.
