(False Rails : Width of 4.0 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 8.0 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning Post.)
1st Race: 1. The Inauguration Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (11 Runners).
DREAM RUNNER (C. Krishnan) was examined at the starting gates by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Hidayat Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
YOURE A STAR (T. Bernard) took a fly jump.
GAME OF SKILL (R. Vaibhav) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have pulled up lame on right hind due to sprained quarter. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of LITTLE LION, reported that he could not get a clear run due to the crowding of the field approaching the 1000 Metres.
FAVOURITE WARRIOR (M. Ravi) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left fore cannon.
2nd Race : 2. The Somnathpur Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan to withdraw AMBER STAR on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to injury on frog. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that SMART EDITION burst its blood vessels.
Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate
from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
MIGHTY MONARCH (B. Nayak) apparently hit the base of the false rails upright and stumbled dislodging its rider passing the 1000 Metres. On immediate examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer it was found to have sustained fracture of left shoulder. Hence it was euthanized.
Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of SILVER SCEPTRE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
3rd Race : 3. The Dandeli Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Jockey P. Mani, the rider of POTENTIAL, was reprimanded for inconveniencing GRAND SUCCESS (Sahanawaz) which in turn passed it on to FANTABULOUS STAR (N. Ramesh Kumar) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
GRAND SUCCESS (Sahanawaz) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind fetlock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g RED BOLT.
4th Race : 4. The Cardon Bleu Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 year old and over (11 Runners).
STAR OF DESIRE (Naushad Alam) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced INDRAVATI (R. Vaideeshwaran) on the outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
BLACK BEAUTY (Harish) was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to be lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
WALTZ AWAY (R. Vaibhav) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 1000 Metres.
LA CLIQUE (C. Krishnan) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Naushad Alam, the rider of STAR OF DESIRE, to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding [Rule No. 161(ii)] on his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan and Jockey Naushad Alam. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan; and (b) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Naushad Alam from 17-11-2011 to 14-12-2011 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding [Rule No. 161(ii)] on his mount STAR OF DESIRE in the above race (permitted to ride work).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g INDRAVATI.
5th Race: 5. The Rajyotsava Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Indian Horses 3 years old and over (Terms) (13 Runners).
As Jockey Vinod Shinde, the declared rider of COULEUR ROUGE, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride COULEUR ROUGE in place of the declared rider.
Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of POLISH PATRIOT, reported that he could
not get a clear run soon after the start due to the crowding of the field.
6th Race: 6. The Kunigal Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji to substitute Jockey P. Trevor to ride MAKE MY DAY in place of the declared rider.
JORIKI (Ladjadj Stephane) planted in the gates and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. J.S.Dhariwal was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey P. Mani, the rider of GAME DANCER, was reprimanded for coming in sharply before passing the red marker post.
Jockey T. Bernard, the rider of YOU'RE WONDERFUL, was fined Rs.2,000/- for the improper use of the whip on his mount during the race.
Jockey T. Bernard, the rider of YOU'RE WONDERFUL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race(1st infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ABNOBA.
7th Race: 7. The Kolar Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
KARISINI (P. Kiran Rai) planted and lost many lengths at the start and did not raise a fluent gallop and ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
MOUNTAIN RANGE (A. Feroz) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand (deputising for Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar) was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of MABLSHWAR MEMORIES, was fined Rs.1,000/-
for shifting in and causing interference to SENOR SPEEDY (M. Kumar) on his
inside approaching the 300 Metres.
MAGNITUDE (B. Sreekanth) sustained gum injury.
KRIPA (R. Vaideeshwaran) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.

on behalf of trainers M/s. Arjun Mangalorkar & S. Padmanabhan respectively
who were unable to attend the races.

RACE NO.85: The Sathyamangala Plate - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres, for horses
rated 20 to 45
I. The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Limited, at their meeting held on the
7th November 2011, considered the appeal dated 28th October 2011 filed by
Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender against the decision of the Stewards of the Mysore
Race Club Ltd., in suspending his Trainer's Licence granted to him from
09-11-2011 to 01-03-2012 (both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.15,000/-
(Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) for infringement of Medication Rules (in respect
of his charge, b g HIGH TREASON in the above race).
They also perused the grounds of appeal dated 3-11-2011 filed by Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender, the enquiry report submitted by the Stipendiary Stewards dated 22nd October 2011 and the Minutes of the Meeting of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., dated 26th October 2011 with regard to suspension of his Trainer's Licence for infringement of Medication Rules in respect of his charge HIGH TREASON.
II. The Stewards examined trainer Mr. G.T. Surender. After due deliberations, the Stewards decided to:
a) Reject the Appeal, filed by Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender;
b) Forfeit the deposit of Rs.2,500/- remitted by him towards the Appeal Fee;
III. In the light of the above, the Stewards decided that the revised date
of suspension of Trainer's Licence of Mr. G.T. Surender shall be from 17-11-2011
to 16-3-2012 (both days inclusive).
