Penetrometer Reading: 3.4 Cms.
False Rails: Width of 3.0 Metres from 1600 Metres to the winning post to 1000 Metres and 5.0 Metres from 1000 Metres to the Winning post.
1st Race: 56. The December Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw I TRUST ME (M Mark) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from Colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey N Rajesh, the rider of CLEVER TRICK, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. S Dominic was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey M A Gallagher, the rider of I SAY was questioned regarding the riding of his mount I SAY. The Jockey stated that his mount was running green during the early part of the race and when he shifted it out after passing the 700 metres it started accelerating well and ultimately finished a good third. His explanations were noted.
2nd Race: 57. The Star Luminary Plate - Div II - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (7 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw HATCHET HARRY (N Harsha) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained a deep cut injury on left hock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey N Rajesh, the rider of SAMAJDAAR to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined trainer Mr. G Nityanand and Jockey N Rajesh. After deliberations they decided to (a) severely caution trainer Mr. G Nityanand as to the future running of his charges; and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey N Rajesh from 13-12-2011 to 31-12-2011 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount in the above race (permitted to ride work).
THE GREAT KING (S Mallikarjun) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g YOURE ROCKING.
3rd Race: 58. The Planetarium Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey N Rajesh, the rider of FLIP YOUR DESTINY, reported that he did not get a clear run approaching 1200 Metres due to the crowding of the field.
Trainer Mr. J Babu Rao was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge SPARK OF PASSION(S R Santosh Kumar). Subsequently "All Black" emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge GOLDEN DIXIE.
It was reported after the race that GOLDEN DIXIE (Md Akbar) pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained knee. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
4th Race: 59. The Star Luminary Plate - Div I - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).
Jockey A R Pradeep, the rider of WESTERN PALACE, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ULTIMATE FANTASY.
5th Race: 60. The Kumararajah M.A.M. Muthiah Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, (9 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to withdraw STARISTA (Mudassar Nazar) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left hind due to inflammed hock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that KLIPSPRINGER (Martin Dwyer) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
6th Race: 61. The Bangalore Turf Club Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. For Indian Horses 3 years old and over (Terms) (8 Runners).
SUCCESSOR (P S Chouhan) jumped awkwardly inwards inconveniencing RARE AND PRECIOUS (Harish) which stumbled soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Samuel Fargeat, the rider of ATLANTUS reported that he did not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the starting gates due to the crowding of the field.
Jockey M A Gallagher, the rider of SECRET PUNCH was fined Rs. 2000/- for coming in sharply before passing the red marker post thereby causing interference to SUCCESSOR (P S Chouhan) on his inside.
Jockey B L Paswan, the rider of BHAGIRATHI was fined Rs. 1000/- for easing up his mount in the final 100 metres of the race.
7th Race: 62. The Davanagere Plate (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUPER SPECTACLE
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from ch g STEEL KING.
8th Race: 63. The Sohna Stud Plate (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of INDIAN BOLT, trained by S Inayathulla and ridden by Jockey J Pradeep in the above race.
