1st Race: 98. The Subash Nagar Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners)
SABALA (K.P.G. Appu) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced ROYAL MUSIC (S. John) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of SUN RICH, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing SUPREME REGENT (B. Sreekanth) on his outside approaching the 700 Metres.
Jockey S. Ramesh, the rider of SUPER SALONI, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight whereby it went in and inconvenienced NEEL GAGAN (R.Vaibhav) on his inside approaching the 300 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of SABALA, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course between the 300 Metres and 150 Metres.
Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of JAVANICA, reported that his mount was lugging `in' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
2nd Race: 99. The A.P. Kothavala Memorial Cup-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 2 years old only (10 Runners).
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of ROYAL LADYSHIP reported that his mount was lugging `in' after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SOUTHERN
OPINION.
3rd Race: 100. The Subash Nagar Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners)
Jockey Vivek, the rider of SARVANI, reported that his saddle shifted over the withers passing the 1000 Metres whereby gradually he got unbalanced and could not offer any assistance to his mount. Rounding the bend he had to pull up his mount and dismount to avoid a fall. After due examination of the equipment, trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of WINGS OF FLAME, reported that his mount was trying to run out passing the 1000 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of VIVA DIVA, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not improving his position from the 700 Metres till 400 Metres.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TABLE MOUNTAIN.
4th Race : 101. The Summer Dust Plate-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Jockey Samad, the rider of CATAMARAN, was reprimanded in the presence of Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi for the inept handling of his mount and he was informed that he should make every effort to improve his riding in future.
BONANZA (Vivek) pulled up lame approaching the 800 Metres. After immediate examination, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sustained fracture of sesomoid bones on left fore fetlock joint. Hence it was euthanized.
HILLTON (S. Selvaraj) sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g GOLDEN VIPER.
After the last race the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that b g GOLDEN VIPER which was kept under veterinary observation while being examined had revealed that it was lame on left hind due to a sprained quarter. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
5th Race: 102. The Horanadu Plate-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
As Jockey Vivek was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in
the 4th race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. G. Nityanand to substitute
Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride DIVINE TOUCH in place of the declared rider.
6th Race : 103. The Jog Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (12 Runners).
Permisison was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey A. Ashok Kumar to ride SUPERB STYLE in place of Jockey Vivek the declared rider.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BOURNE SUPREME
7th Race: 104. The Dharwar Plate-(About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for Contravention of General Condition 5 of the Prospectus of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2011-12 by accepting his charge LADY GAGA to run in the above race and also in another race on 31-12-2011. Subsequently the horse was withdrawn from the above race.
As Jockey S. Ramesh was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 1st race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao to substitute Jockey S. Selvaraj to ride FIST OF RAGE in place of the declared rider.
ARABIAN GOLD (Samuel Fargeat) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced
TOO COLD TO HOLD (A. Ashok Kumar) on his inside soon after jumping out of the
starting gates.
In a closely packed field NO DOUBT (Imran Chisty) which was moving up had
to be shifted out to avoid striking the front runner FIST OF RAGE (S. Selvaraj)
and in the process went out and inconvenienced the horses on the outside viz.
INDIAN ROYALTY (Martin J. Dwyer), CAFÉ DEL MONTE (Ryan Marshall) and CASTRO (P.Trevor)
approaching the 1400 Metres.
It was reported after the race that TIBERIUS (P.S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that TIBERIUS (P.S. Chouhan) had apparently lost its left fore shoe during the race.
TOO COLD TO HOLD (A. Ashok Kumar) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g ARABIAN GOLD.
8th Race : 103. The Raichur Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Dominic to substitute Jockey Ryan
Marshall to ride CARAWAY in place of Jockey Vivek the declared rider.
Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge MAKE WAY. Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.
NARNIA (Harish) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. S. Britto was informed to ensure better performance of his charges in future.
Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of INVINCIBLE SHOT, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to BEAU SANCY (Samuel Fargeat) on his outside which in turn passed it on to RIGHT ON TIME (P.S. Chouhan) on the far side passing the 200 Metres.
Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of INVINCIBLE SHOT reported that he lost his whip passing the 200 Metres.
BEAU SANCY (Samuel Fargeat) sustained cut injury on right fore cannon.
