1st Race: 218. The Infants Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (8 Runners)
As Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj to substitute Jockey Vinod Shinde to ride LOYAL KING in place of the declared rider.
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge SMITHSONITE. Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.
IMPRESSIVEATTITUDE (J.H. Christopher) was extremely fractious in the gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
LOYAL KING (Vinod Shinde) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
BLUE PASSION (G. Adarsh) was slowly away and ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
2nd Race: 219. The Octogonal Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal to substitute Jockey Vivek to ride SAMOVAR in place of the declared rider.
3rd Race: 220. The Bhagamandala Plate - (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (7 Runners).
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from ch f MI AMOR.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f NADIA.
4th Race: 221. The Ramnagar Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to withdraw FIRE STAR (M.A. Milan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Nasir Imam, the rider of SOUND OF POWER, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing QUICK SILVER (P. Kiran Rai) on his outside approaching the 1200 Metres.
It was observed that Jockey R. Koch, the rider of WHISPER IN TOWN lost his whip approaching the 500 Metres.
Jockey R. Koch, the rider of WHISPER IN TOWN, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course thereby inconveniencing RED HOT (J.H. Christopher) on his inside passing the 200 Metres.
MELLONSDELIGHT (Vivek) sustained gum injury.
5th Race: 222. The Varada Trophy - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (11 Runners)
ICE MINT (N. Ganesh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b h SKY TRAIN.
6th Race: 223. The Governor's Trophy-(About) 1600 Metres. 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2009) (Terms) (5 Runners)
Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for failing to declare his charge PRINCE OF STEALTH to start for the above race after having accepted with it.
Jockey Anthony Crastus, the rider of TREASURE MOUNTAIN, was fined Rs.3,000/- for failing to inform as to the behaviour of his charge during the race to the authorities in that it hung in badly in the 200 Metres (contravention of Rule 167(b)). As a result the horse left to the stables without being examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer. Trainer Mr. M. Eshwer was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
TREASURE MOUNTAIN (Anthony Crastus) sustained gum injury.
Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for bringing his assistant Mr. Rajesh to lead in his charge SUPER STORM in an improper attire.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c SUPER STORM.
7th Race: 224. The Icebreaker Plate -Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (10 Runners)
Jockey C. Henrique, the rider of JACK O LANTERN, was fined Rs.1,000/-for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Jockey T. Bernard, the rider of JAANVI was fined Rs.3,000/-for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

8th Race: 225. The Varada Trophy - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (10 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.Babu Rao to substitute Jockey Vivek to ride CAMELOT in place of the declared rider.
CAMELOT (Vivek) was extremely fractious, dropped the rider and ran round the course anti clockwise riderless. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
GAME DANCER (P Kiran Rai) sustained a cut injury on right hind outer bulb of the heel.
9th Race: 226. The Icebreaker Plate -Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge THE FIRST BULLET. Subsequently `all black' emergency colorus were permitted to be used.
It was reported after the race that THE FIRST BULLET (T. Bernard) burst its blood vessel. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of COOL WHISTLE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
BEAUTIFUL DANCER (Md. Akbar) sustained a cut injury on right commisure of the mouth.
TERN ME ON (S. Mallikarjun) sustained a cut injury on right hind coronet.

125. The Ghataprabha Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres Horses rated 00 to 25
The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on 19th February 2012 considered the analytical report received from the Hong Kong Jockey Club on 26th January, 2012, pertaining to the analysis of the urine sample taken from dkb m SABALA (trained by Mr. B. Puttanna) which had shown the presence of Etofylline - prohibited substance - the sample of which was taken after the said horse placed First in the above race.
The Stewards noted the following:
The trainer/owners were given the option of sending the split sample of the urine of the horse for confirmatory analysis. The trainer vide his letter dated 12th February 2012 informed the Club that he did not wish to send the split sample of the urine for confirmatory analysis.
Therefore, the Stewards decided to disqualify the horse dkb m SABALA from the above race and revise the order of placings as under:
