1st Race: 175. The Ruia Stud Plate - (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 ( 5 Runners)

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of TOP SECRET, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m SUPREMACY.

2nd Race: 176. The Chamundi Hill Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners)

Jockey Naushad Alam, the rider of SONNTAGSKONIG, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing WESTERN PALACE (G. Adarsh) on his outside approaching the 800 Metres.

It was reported after the race that ARGENTUM (Samad) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey P. Ramesh, the rider of NORTH CAPE to the Stewards for incompetent riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj and Jockey P. Ramesh. After deliberations, they decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj; and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey P. Ramesh from 13-2-2012 to 22-2-2012 (both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.5,000/- for incompetent riding on his mount NORTH CAPE (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race (permitted to ride work).

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of SUMMER SUN to the Stewards for incompetent riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined trainer Mr. Amit Caddy and Jockey A. Ramu. After deliberations, they decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr.Amit Caddy; and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey A. Ramu from 13-2-2012 to 22-2-2012 (both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.5,000/- for incompetent riding on his mount SUMMER SUN (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race (permitted to ride work).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c ROYAL SPIRIT.

3rd Race: 177. The R.W.I.T.C. Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2009) (5 Runners)

THUNDERBAY (R. Vaibhav) was fractious at the gates and ran riderless round the course. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

SIMPLY STYLISH (Khurshad Alam) sustained bleeding cut injuries on left hind coronet and right hind pastern coronet.

4th Race: 178. The Gaganachukki Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)

Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge FANTABULOUS STAR. Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.

Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of WALTER, was reprimanded in the presence of Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna for riding an indifferent race.

5th Race: 179. The Stayers Trial Stakes - (About) 2400 Metres. For Indian Horses 4 years old and over at the time of starting (Terms) (6 Runners)

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence pertaining to declaration in respect of his charge SUN ABSOLUTE.

6th Race: 180. The Sprinters Trial Stakes - (About) 1200 Metres. For Indian Horses 4 years old and over at the time of starting (Terms) (8 Runners)

As Jockey Samuel Fargeat could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagement, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey Vivek to ride SMOOTH GLIDER in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of VALAHAK, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to RARE AND PRECIOUS (V.R. Jagadeesh) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres.

Jockey S. John, the rider of OPTIMUS PRIME, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Vivek to the Stewards for improper riding on his mount SMOOTH GLIDER (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race in that he unduly checked his mount during the early part of the race, thereby causing severe interference to OPTIMUS PRIME (S. John) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar and Jockey Vivek. After deliberations, they decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar; and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey Vivek from 13-2-2012 to 22-2-2012 (both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.5,000/- for improper riding on his mount SMOOTH GLIDER (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race (permitted to ride work).

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from ch f SILKEN TOUCH.

7th Race: 181 The H. Devereux Memorial Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old & over (12 Runners)

Jockey Vivek, the rider of STAR OF DESIRE, was reprimanded for suddenly changing course towards the rails approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey Harish, the rider of BLACK BEAUTY, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 700 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Jockey K.R. Rajesh, the rider of YOURE STUNNING, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.

ITS MY PARTY (Suraj Narredu) sustained gum injury.

8th Race: 182. The Murudeshwara Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners)

GRAND SUCCESS (Sahanawaz) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced DELTA DELIGHT (A. Ashok Kumar) on the outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of NO DOUBT, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to DELTA DELIGHT (A. Ashok Kumar) on his inside approaching the 1200 Metres.

Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of ALADDIN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to DELTA DELIGHT (A. Ashok Kumar) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres.

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of BLUE STAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to DELTA DELIGHT (A. Ashok Kumar) on his outside approaching the 250 Metres.

It was reported after the race that SARATOGA SPRING (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

9th Race: 183. The Gaganachukki Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old & over (12 Runners)

DANCE TO THE TUNE (R. Vaibhav) jumped awkwardly outside from the starting gates and inconvenienced ENDURING SPEED (M. Noornabi).

Jockey R. Anand, the rider of BETTER THAN BEST, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and inconveniencing ABSENCE (Khurshad Alam) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of ENDURING SPEED, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping BETTER THAN BEST (R. Anand) on his outside approaching the 900 Metres.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of TRILLION WIN, trained by Mr. Amit Caddy and ridden by Jockey A. Ramu.
