Going : Good Penetrometer Reading : 2.8 Cms False Rails: Average width of 3 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 5 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning post. 1st Race: 277. The Bhatkal Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (9 Runners) Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of JEWEL LADY, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course before passing the red marker post. Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of JEWEL LADY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to STAR OF DESIRE (Suraj Narredu) on his inside in the final 50 Metres. It was reported after the race that JACK O LANTERN (Mohd. Ghouse) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock and also sustained a cut injury on right elbow. Trainer Mr. S. Britto was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was reported after the race that YOURE CHILUBULI (P.S. Chouhan) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right fore cannon exposing the suspensory and tendon. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. An enquiry is being held into the very severe interference caused by Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of STAR OF DESIRE to Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of YOURE CHILUBULI in the above race. 2nd Race: 278. The Charmudi Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (9 Runners) Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge LITTLE BOY BLUE (A. Ramu) as regards shoeing. MELLONSDELIGHT (P.S. Chouhan) jumped out awkwardly from the starting gates. Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of MELLONSDELIGHT, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to FOR AN ANGEL (Mudassar Nazar) which in turn passed it on to BENEDICT (Suraj Narredu) on the inside approaching the 800 Metres. SPIFFY (N. Ganesh) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g MELLONSDELIGHT. 3rd Race: 279. The Mercara Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (12 Runners) ALL CLEAR (A. Ashok Kumar) stumbled while jumping out of the starting gates. SUPER EXCITED (Vivek) sustained a cut injury on left fore fetlock. 4th Race: 280. The Vijayanagar Trophy - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners) Jockey H.G. Rathod, the rider of LIVING LEGEND, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course rounding the final bend thereby inconveniencing BRYANT PARK (Suraj Narredu) on his outside. Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of DECORATED, reported that his mount was hanging in, after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again. BRYANT PARK (Suraj Narredu) sustained cut injuries on right hind cannon. 5th Race: 281. The Vijayanagar Trophy - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners) Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of LADS ABILITY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to ON A ROLL (Imran Chisty) on his outside which in turn passed it on to CATAMARAN (Mudassar Nazar) on the far side soon after jumping out of the starting gates. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c CHUL BUL PANDY. 6th Race: 282. The Banavasi Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (11 Runners) YAMAS (P.S. Chouhan) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day. Jockey A. Feroz, the rider of ANNA, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing ADONIS (R. Vaibhav) rounding the final bend. Jockey Deepak Singh, the rider of BRIGADE'S PRIDE, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason. Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of ADONIS, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course approaching the 200 Metres. Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ATLAS POWER, reported that he could not get a clear run in the final 100 Metres of the race. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUPER SURPRISE. 7th Race: 283. The Bhatkal Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (10 Runners) SHOT OF GOLD (Mohammed Shoaib) planted and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track. VAYOMI (V.R. Jagadeesh) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern. It was reported after the race that SACHIMORE (M. Noornabi) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Britto was informed that he must produce a Fitness certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. An enquiry is being held into the very severe interference caused by Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of JAANVI to Jockey Noornabi, the rider of SACHIMORE whereby SHORMYRED (Suraj Narredu) was also inconvenienced in the above race. 8th Race: 284. The Banavasi Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (11 Runners) EMERALD (Shiva Kumar) was examined at the starting gates by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to have sustained an injury on right hock. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Order. GUNPOWDER (Mudassar Nazar ) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of ITS MY PARTY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence pertaining to weighing in. Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of AMAZER, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.
