1st Race: 294. The Longchamp Stakes - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (6 Runners)

FRAME PARTNER (S. John) sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern.

HILLTON (M.A. Milan) sustained gum injury.

2nd Race: 295. The Classic Story Stakes - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (10 Runners)

Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of SENOR SPEEDY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in sharply and causing interference to CHANTILLY JEWEL (A. Ramu) on his inside approaching the 1200 Metres.

Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of WAR ARTIST, reported that his mount was hanging 'in' in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Adarsh, the rider of STUD MUFFIN pulled up his mount approaching the 600 Metres and dismounted. On immediate examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer it was found to have sustained multiple fracture on its right fore pastern. Under the circumstances it was euthanized.

Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of SENOR SPEEDY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

VOODOO MOON (A. Vishwanath) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.

3rd Race: 296. The Brindavan Garden Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners)

FIST OF RAGE (B.L. Paswan) jumped out awkwardly from the gates.

Jockey R. Anand, the rider of SHOOT OUT, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing GORGEOUS GOLD (Imran Chisty) on his outside rounding the final bend.

AFFIRMATIVE (P.S. Chouhan) sustained a cut injury on right gaskin.

4th Race: 297. The Bull Temple Cup - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (11 Runners)

Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of GUN SALUTE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to LAD KING (P.S. Chouhan) on his inside approaching the 1400 Metres.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of LAD KING, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to GUN SALUTE (D. K. Ashish) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of SUN CONTROL was fined Rs.2,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount during the race.

CAMELOT (A.Vishwanath) sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern.

NESSIE (M. Noornabi) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.

5th Race: 298. The Dharmasthala Stakes - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, who have run at least twice during Bangalore Winter Meeting 2011-12 and not won a race at any centre (12 Runners)

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of BIUTIFUL, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ATTRACTOR (S. Mallikarjun) on his inside which in turn passed it on to THE FIRST BULLET (K.R. Rajesh) passing the 900 Metres.

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of LA CLIQUE, was reprimanded for travelling wide between the 900 and 700 Metres for no apparent reason.

Jockey K.R. Rajesh, the rider of THE FIRST BULLET, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the inept handling of his mount during the race. He was further informed in the presence of his master trainer Mr. K. Pradeep Annaiah that he should make every effort to improve his riding in future and that a repetition of similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.

SAPHIRA (R. Bharath) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f INDIAN PRIDE.

6th Race: 299. The Classic Story Stakes - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners)

Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge SUPER SPECTACLE. Subsequently "all black" emergency colours were permitted to be used.

It was reported after the race that NORTH CAPE (R.Vaideeshwaran) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of TRILLION WIN pulled up his mount approaching the 800 Metres. On immediate veterinary examination it was found to have pulled up lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey V.R. Jagdeesh, the rider of BRAVE CAT to the Stewards for not permitting his mount to run on its merits in the above race (Rule No.159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing). The Stewards held an enquiry on Saturday, 31st March 2012 in the fore noon. They examined Trainer Mr.Sharath Kumar and Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh. After deliberations, they decided to (a) declare Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh a disqualified person under BTC Rules of Racing from 1-5-2012 to 31-10-2013 (both days inclusive) for not permitting his mount BRAVE CAT to run on its merit in the above race thereby contravening Rule No.159 (a) and (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing; and (b) note the explanation tendered by trainer Mr. Sharath Kumar.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b m BRAVE CAT.

7th Race: 300. The Tiptur Stakes - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao to withdraw SHOURYA on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed elbow. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate form the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey V.R. Jagadessh, the rider of DREAM RUNNER was fined Rs.5,000/- for the improper use of the whip whereby he could not exercise sufficient control over his mount and allowed it to come in and cause interference to the horses on his inside viz. SUPREME REGENT (B. Sreekanth), LOVING FANTASY (Vivek) and OUR LOVE (S. Mallikarjun) approaching the 300 Metres which went in and brushed the false rails.

Jockey V.R. Jagadessh, the rider of DREAM RUNNER was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Vivek, the rider of LOVING FANTASY, to the Stewards for dangerous riding [Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] in that he shifted in dangerously and caused very severe interference to A DANCETOREMEMBER (Deepak Singh) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres resulting in Jockey Deepak Singh being totally unbalanced and getting dislodged from his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on Saturday, 31st March 2012 and examined Jockey Vivek. After deliberation, they decided that should Jockey's licence be granted to Jockey Vivek for the season 2012-13 the same shall stand suspended from 12-5-2012 to 13-5-2012 (both days inclusive) for careless riding [Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount LOVING FANTASY in the above Race (permitted to ride work).

CUTE ANGEL (S. John) sustained a cut injury on left hock.

FORMALITY (M.A Milan) sustained a punctured wound on right fore cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f HILL COUNTRY.
