1st Race: 132. The Ghataprabha Plate - (About) 1400 Metres Horses rated 00
to 25 (12 Runners).
Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of AUTUMN RED, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to CHE GUEVARA (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) on his outside approaching the 600 Metres.
SUGAR FAIRY (Arshad Alam) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f DANCE WITH ME.
2nd Race: 133. The Native Chieftan Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old & over (10 Runners).
As Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the declared rider of CORLEONE, could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagement in time for the above race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay to substitute Jockey Valdir De Sousa to ride CORLEONE in place of Jockey P S Chouhan, the declared rider.
ASPECT OF LOVE (B. Dileep) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey S. John, the rider of SIX SHOOTER, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 700 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of BLACK BEAUTY, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.
3rd Race: 134. The Kanchanganga Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old & over (10 Runners).
An enquiry is being held into the inconsistent pattern of running of RECHARGED (C Henrique) the winner of the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No. 111 of the Bangalore Winter Meeting 2012-13 held on Saturday, 29th December, 2012 when ridden by Jockey N Ganesh it ran unplaced.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g RECHARGED.
4th Race: 135. The Sangam Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (10 Runners)
As Jockey Colm O'Donoghue could not fulfill his riding engagement for the days races and as no suitable substitute rider was available, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to withdraw MURIOI from the above race.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to withdraw NABISCO (Valdir De Sousa) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right hind due to sprained quarter. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey P. Mulrennan, the rider of MIRACLE MEMORIES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SCARLET O'HARA (R. Vaibhav) on his inside before passing the red marker post.
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of REFRESHED, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SCARLET O'HARA (R. Vaibhav) on his outside before passing the red marker post.
LIGHT OF SUCCESS (B. Sreekanth) sustained cut injury on left hind cannon.
SCARLET O'HARA (R. Vaibhav) sustained cut injury on right hind pastern.

5th Race: 136. The Kanchanganga Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old & over (10 Runners).
SUPREMACY (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) sustained cut injury on right hind pastern.
SILVER SCEPTRE (Nirmal Jodha) sustained an injury on left eye.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g ARRABIAN GOLD.
6th Race: 137. The Karnakata Police Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (9 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for accepting his charge YOUREWINDSOFCHANGE (Vivek) in the above race - violation of Calendar Notification under the heading "Prohibition of bleeders to race". Subsequently it was permitted to be withdrawn from the above race.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to substitute Jockey B. Sreekanth to ride QUICK ENOUGH in place of Jockey Colm O'Donoghue the declared rider.
CAPE FERRAT (S. John) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates.
An enquiry in being held into the running and riding of CECIL, trained by Mr. J S Dhariwal and ridden by jockey R Vaibhav.
7th Race: 138. The Harangi Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (11 Runners)
Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of RAPHIRE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to SMILE ALL THE WAY (S. John) on his inside approaching the 500 Metres.
Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the rider of ANONYMOUS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement),
SMILE ALL THE WAY (S. John) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.

8th Race: 139. The Native Chieftan Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (9 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to withdraw ACE GOLFER (S. John) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to inflammed elbow. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
HILLINGDON (Ahsan Qureshi) was extremely fractious and refused to remain in the gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Order.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the b g INDIAN.
9th Race: 140. The Ranganathithu Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (13 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to substitute Jockey B. Sreekanth to ride BOUND BY HONOUR in place of Jockey Colm O'Donoghue the declared rider.
Trainer Mr. S. Britto was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge SURPRISESUCEEDING (1st Infringement).
Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of CHEQUE DISCOUNTER, reported that his mount drifted out, despite his effort in the final 200 Metres of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's veterinary reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Hence trainer Mr. B Prithviraj was fined Rs. 3,000/- for his negligence (1st Infringement).
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of REAL STEEL, reported that his mount drifted out under pressure in the final 200 Metres of the race.
CHEQUE DISCOUNTER (Saddam Hussain) sustained cut injury on left hock.

ADDITIONAL REPORT
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to the Stewards for contravention of Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that he was negligent in identifying the horses under his charge whereby he mixed up the identity of two horses (2 year olds viz. CINCH and CHIFFON) thereby resulting in these two horses (a) sporting wrong track numbers during track work; (b) Starting Stall Certificates endorsed for the wrong horses; and (c) special equipment permitted for the wrong horses. The Stewards held an enquiry on 8-12-2012 and examined Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi. After deliberations, they decided to fine him a sum of Rs.20,000/- for contravention of Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that he was negligent in identifying the horses under his charge viz. CINCH and CHIFFON.
