1st Race: 80. The Beginners Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms) (8 Runners).

CRISTOFFE(R. Vaibhav) suddenly shied away from the rails approaching the 300 Metres as the pigeons on the track flew whereby the rider got momentarily unbalanced.

Jockey P. Ramesh, the rider of LOVE IS LIFE, reported that he lost his whip in the final 100 Metres of the race.

Jockey P. Ramesh, the rider of LOVE IS LIFE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not infusing adequate vigour in riding out his mount in the final stages of the race.

Jockey Martin Wepner, the rider of RED BUD reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c CRISTOFFE.

2nd Race: 81. The Sovereign Crown Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to withdraw SWEEPING FANTASY on veterinary grounds as it was lame on left fore due to inflammed tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

WILL STILL (S. Chandrashekar) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced DREAM RUNNER (Santosh Kumar Paswan) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of BETTER THAN EVER, reported that he lost his whip passing the 200 Metres.

Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of CORLEONE, reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Samar Singh (deputizing for Trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay) was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that WILL STILL burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

3rd Race: 82. The Bangarpet Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (10 Runners)

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh to withdraw FASHION FLAME (Shobhan Babu) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to sprained suspensory ligament. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

APRIL GOLD (Indrajeet Singh) was examined at the starting gates by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

BE BOP A LULA (Tauseef Ahmed) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of PERFECT ATTITUDE, was fined Rs.5,000/- for riding in an incompetent manner in the above race.

It was reported after the race that AMAZING COLOUR (A.R. Pradeep) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ICE KINGDOM (Ahsan Qureshi) sustained a cut injury on right fore.

GOL MATOL (V.R. Jagadeesh) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of BLUES LEGEND trained by Mr. B. Prithviraj and ridden by Jockey P. Ramesh.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SWEET ANGEL.

4th Race : 83. The Raichur Plate - Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

DANCING EMERALDS (R. Vaideeshwaran) was found to have splayed its right fore shoe on the way to the starting gates and did not allow to be reshod due to its fractious behaviour. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

SHOOT OUT (R. Anand) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced MAGNOMICAL (B.Sreekanth) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Martin Wepner, the rider of BESSIE, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of PERFECT SPEED, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to SWEET TIMER (A.R. pradeep) on his inside passing the 900 Metres.

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of SUPERB STYLE, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 250 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Jockey Martin Wepner, the rider of BESSIE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to MAGNOMICAL (B. Sreekanth) on his inside passing the 250 Metres.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of FINAL COUNTDOWN, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the final 200 Metres of the race.

Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the rider of KRIPA, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the final 100 Metres of the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g FINAL COUNTDOWN.

5th Race: 84. The Sovereign Crown Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to withdraw ANFIELD (P.S. Chouhan) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of MAGIC WAVE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and tightening the horses on his inside viz. ASTONISHING (Valdir De Sousa) and BETTER THAN BEST (R. Anand) passing the 1100 Metres.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of CHECK IN TIME, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

CHECK IN TIME (Vinod Shinde)sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.

6th Race : 85. The Raichur Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

TRIBAL QUEEN (A. Ashok Kumar) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced the horses on its inside viz. ABBYS BABY (Valdir De Sousa) and SIX SHOOTER (S. Chandrashekar) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of HILLSTONE, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing SARATOGA SPRING(Suraj Narredu) on his inside approaching the 1100 Metres.

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of ABBYS BABY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and tightening HILLSTONE (Ahsan Qureshi) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SARATOGA SPRING, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping ABBYS BABY (Valdir De Sousa) on his outside passing the 600 Metres.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SARATOGA SPRING, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently during the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it had burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy) and also sustained a cut injury on right flank. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SIX SHOOTER (S. Chandrashekar) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.

7th Race : 86. The Dariya Daulat Cup - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (13 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was questioned regarding the poor performance of his charge SUNNYS SECRET (Afsar). He was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

SPARK OF SILVER (Y.S. Srinath) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr m SPARK OF SILVER.

8th Race: 87. The T.B. Hanumantharaj Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (15 Runners).

GROUND MARSHAL (S. Chandrashekar) after jumping out, swerved towards left, went on the sand track and did not complete the course. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of GORGEOUS GOLD, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 800 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f RATHAM.

9th Race : 88. The Parfait Amour Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (15 Runners).

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of RUSTY, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres.

Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of WONDER LASH, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the extravagant use of whip whereby he hit the left hand of Jockey Valdir De Sousa on his inside between the 250 Metres and 200 Metres of the race who lost his whip.

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of RUSTY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for hitting the horse with his hands after the loss of whip.

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of RUSTY, was fined Rs.5,000/- for dropping hands and completely easing his mount in the last 100 Metres of the race.

THIRTEENTH DAY, THURSDAY, 27TH SEPTEMBER, 2012.

101. The Hotel R R R Gold Cup (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above

The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on Saturday, 15th December 2012, considered the appeal dated 22-11-2012 filed by Jockey Shivakumar against the decision of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club in suspending the Jockey's licence of Jockey S. Shivakumar for riding in a foul manner {Rule 161(i)} on his mount VIRAT Iin the above race from 2-12-2012 to 26-2-2013 (subsequently period of commencement of punishment changed to 16-12-2012). In this connection the Stewards considered the following:

(a) The Minutes of the Meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., held on 21-11-2012;
(b) The written grounds of appeal dated 5-12-2012 submitted by Jockey S. Shivakumar;
(c) The Stewards examined Mr. Y.S. Gautam, Spokesman for Jockey S. Shivakumar, Jockey S. Shivakumar himself and also Jockeys P.S. Chouhan & R. Bharath.

After due deliberations, the Stewards decided to:

(a) reject the appeal filed by Jockey Shivakumar;
(b) forfeit the appeal fee paid by him.

The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their meeting held on 15-12-2012 considered the Minutes of the Meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club dated 21st November 2012 referring Jockey S. Shivakumar for further action for riding in a foul manner on his mount VIRAT in the above race. They considered the Minutes of the Meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club dated 21-11-2012.

They examined Mr. Y.S. Gautam, Spokesman for Jockey S. Shivakumar and Jockey S. Shivakumar himself. After due deliberations, the Stewards decided to declare Jockey Shivakumar a disqualified person under BTC Rules of Racing with effect from 1-1-2013 to 30-6-2013 for riding in a foul manner {Rule 161(i)} on his mount VIRAT in Race No.101, The Hotel RRR Gold Cup (About) 1400 Metres on 27th September 2012.
