1st Race: 97. The Kakanakote Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (7 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw MOLLY MALONE on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock. He was informed he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh to withdraw SOUND OF POWER (S. Chetan Kalay)on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to inflammed suspensory ligament. He was informed he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
LOVING FANTASY (Shobhan Babu) was slowly away and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of SMART EDITION, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and tightening the horses on his inside viz. ALPINE SHINE (Mudassar Nazar) and FORMALITY (R. Vaibbhav) passing the 900 Metres.
Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of FORMALITY, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 800 Metres due to a closely packed field.
It was reported after the race that SMART EDITION (P.S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
2nd Race: 98. The Badami Plate - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (6 Runners).

3rd Race: 99. The Kakanakote Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
ARCTIC BREEZE (Indrajeet Singh) sustained cut injury on right hock.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Indrajeet Singh, the rider of ARTIC BREEZE to the Stewards for incompetent riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur and Jockey Indrajeet Singh. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by the Trainer; and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey Indrajeet Singh from 1-1-2013 to 9-1-2013 (both days inclusive) for incompetent riding (Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount ARTIC BREEZE in the above race (permitted to ride work).
Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from b g DIVINE STRIKE.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BRIGADE'S PARADISE.
4th Race: 100. The Amathos Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala to withdraw THE SCIENTIST on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from Colic. He was informed he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey M.Rajesh Kumar, the rider of CHE GUEVARA, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and taking out MARKET MAKER (Tauseef Ahmed) on his outside approaching the 900 Metres.
Jockey Nasir Imam, the rider of ENDURANCE, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of AIR DISPLAY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not
persevering with his mount during the race.
Jockey N. Ganesh, the rider of STARSTRUCK, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.
ENDURANCE (Nasir Imam) sustained a deep cut punctured wound on left fore cannon.
AIR DISPLAY (K. Raja Rao) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g TRUMAN.
5th Race: 101. The Kehlan Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old & over (8 Runners).
Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of ISPECIALIST was fined Rs.3,000/- for the negligence pertaining to the use of whip in that approaching the 300 Metres he lost his whip.
6th Race: 102. The Royal Russian Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old & over (9 Runners).
STARSCREAM (M. Noornabi) planted in the gates and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.
Approaching the 900 Metres ALIANZ (M. Rajesh Kumar) racing fiercely behind MELLONSDELIGHT (A. Velu) had to be checked by its rider to avoid clipping the front runner.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f BRILLIANCE.
7th Race: 103. The Narasimharaja Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (12 Runners).
An enquiry is being held into the interference caused by Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of SMOOTH GLIDER to the horses on his inside SUN DIVINE (R. Vaideeshwaran), QUICK ENOUGH (Liam P. Jones) and BRYANT PARK (Y.S. Srinath) passing the 900 Metres.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of YOUREWINDSOFCHANGE, on questioning
stated that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop during the race. The horse
was impounded for veterinary examination. The Club's Veterinary Officer reported
after the last race that the horse had
burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy). Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed
that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer
before accepting with it again.
CECIL (R. Vaibhav) sustained cut injury on right knee.

8th Race: 104. The Kehlan Stud Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old & over (9 Runners).

20 to 45 (12 Runners).
FRONT RUNNER (B. Sreekanth) reared up as the gates opened and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Noornabi, the rider of RIGHT ON TIME, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey N. Ganesh, the rider of GO GREEN, reported that he lost his whip
approaching the 250 Metres.
An enquiry was opened into the running and riding of MOUNTAIN HIGH (R. Koch)
trained by S. Narredu and ridden by Jockey R. Koch. After the last race the
Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination
MOUNTAIN HIGH had burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy). Trainer Mr. S. Narredu
was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's
Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SAMAJDAAR (N. Rajesh) sustained cut injury on left knee.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from ch g MOUNTAIN HIGH.

82. The Bangarpet Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25
(a) The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey P Ramesh , the rider of BLUES LEGEND, to the Stewards for not permitting his mount, to run on its merit, thereby contravening Rule No. 159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing. The Stewards held enquiry on 20th December, 2012 and examined Jockey P Ramesh as also, the Trainer of the horse, Mr. B Prithviraj. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey P Ramesh with effect from 01-01-2013 upto 31-03-2013 (both days inclusive), not to permit him to ride work during the period of suspension of his licence for not permitting his mount, BLUES LEGEND, to run on its merit in the above Race, thereby contravening Rule No.159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing; and
(b) The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj for contravention of Rule No.167(b) (failure of duties as a Trainer), Rule No.114(b)(i) (negligence in the performance of duties as a licensed professional and Rule No.202 (vi) and (vii) (tendering false and misleading evidence during the enquiries and the reluctant unsatisfactory running of his charge BLUES LEGEND in the above race). After detailed deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the Trainer's Licence granted to Trainer Mr. B Prithviraj with effect from 01-01-2013 upto 31-03-2013 (both days inclusive) for contravention of (Rule No.167(b) (failure of duties as a Trainer) Rule No.114(b)(i) (negligence in the performance of duties as a licensed professional and Rule No.202(vi) and (vii) (tendering false and misleading evidence during the enquiries) of the BTC Rules of Racing in connection with the running of his charge BLUES LEGEND in the above race

RANDOM TESTING FOR ANABOLIC STEROIDS AND SEX HORMONES AT MYSORE FOR THE
MONTH OF JUNE, 2012:
The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on Friday, 21st December 2012, considered the Minutes of the Meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., of 14-11-2012 referring Trainer Mr. B.K. Narendra to the Stewards of Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., for suitable action for infringement of Medication Rules in respect of his charge ch g PRINCE ASHWIN i.e. detection estrane deol - prohibited substance - in the urine sample taken from ch g PRINCE ASHWIN on 22-6-2012 during random testing for anabolic steroids and Sex Hormones for the month of June 2012 at Mysore.
They examined Trainer Mr. B.K. Narendra. After deliberations, they decided
to (a) suspend his Trainer's licence with effect from 1-1-2013 to 28-2-2013 and
should he be granted trainer's licence for the season 2013-14 the same shall
remain suspended from 15-5-2013 to 14-7-2013 and (b) fine him a sum of
Rs.15,000/- for contravention of Medication Rule in respect of his charge ch g
PRINCE ASHWIN during random sampling for Anabolic Steroid and Sex Hormones (on
22-6-2012 at Mysore) and as contained in the BTC Calendar Notification under the
heading "Medication and Treatment of Horses in Training and Racing and
Anti-doping Control" reading as under:
