Penetrometer Reading: 4.5 Cms.
False Rails: Average width of 4 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 7 Metres from 1000 Metres to the Winning post.

1st Race: 62. The Planetarium Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Warren Singh to withdraw JIGRI DOST on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from fever. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of DECCAN CHARGERS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in an improper attire to the weighing room for the days races.

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of DECCAN CHARGERS, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing STATELY DANCE (B. Sreekanth) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey Tauseef Ahmed was questioned regarding the drifting out of his mount CASH THE CHEQUE in the last 150 Metres whereby he took the ground of JEYEM (Mudassar Nasar). The Jockey stated that the horse was tending to lug out. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. After the 6th race the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that the horse pulled up lame on left hind and also sustained a cut injury on right hind bulb of the heel. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

STATELY DANCE (B. Sreekanth) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f KEY OF KNOWLEDGE.

2nd Race: 63. The Gangavathi Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (11 Runners).

SUMITOMO (Y.S. Srinath) jumped awkwardly outwards as a result the Jockey lost his right stirrup soon after jumping out of the starting gates which he could not regain and had to remove his left leg from the stirrup to balance himself and thereby could not offer any assistance to his mount thereafter.

Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of SIMRA, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was questioned ………. VISTAELLA.

3rd Race: 64. The Adichunchanagiri Stakes - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).

FORMULA ONE (N. Rajesh) was slowly away and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of CHIRON, was severely reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing SUPREME (R.Vaibhav) on his outside passing the 250 Metres.

RED BISHOP (K.P.G. Appu) sustained cut injury on right hind inner bulb of heel.

4th Race: 65. The Kalinadi Plate - Div.II -(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (14 Runners).

INDIAN PRIDE (Saddam Hussain) accidentally hit the false rails approaching the 1100 Metres whereby LITTLE LION (Afsar Khan) travelling directly behind had to be checked by its rider.

GUSTAVO (Vinod Shinde) accidentally stumbled approaching the 1100 Metres.

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of I SPECIALIST, was severely reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

It was reported after the race that NORTH CAPE (R. Vaideeshwaran) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g NORTH CAPE.

5th Race: 66. The Dharwar Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao to substitute Jockey
Sahanawaz to ride FRENEMEE in place of Jockey M. Prasad the declared rider.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to withdraw FRONT RUNNER (B. Sreekanth) on veterinary grounds as it fell over in the saddling enclosure and was found to be lame on right hind. Trainer was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

LITTLE MAESTRO (David Allan) was slowly away, swerved towards left, went on the sand track and did not take practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.

Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of THE SCIENTIST, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that the horse had sustained gum injuries. However, Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Martin Wepner, the rider of SAREETA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

An enquiry is being held into the change of rider of FRENEMEE trained by Mr. J. Babu Rao in the above race.

6th Race: 67. The Sohna Stud Plate (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey P. Mulrennan, the rider of LADS ABILITY, reported that he could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the starting gates due to the crowding of the field.

ARCHIBALDO (S. John) accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 1000 Metres.

Jockey Fr'co F DaSilva, the rider of BEN TEN, reported that his mount stopped galloping in the final 200 Metres of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was reported to have suffered from EIPH (endoscopy). Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again

Jockey R. Koch, the rider of HARD TO PIN DOWN, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

LADS ABILITY (P. Mulrennan) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.

7th Race: 68. The Shantiniketan Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (13 Runners).

Jockey S. John, the rider of THOUGHTS N ACTIONS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SUNSTONE (Ahsan Qureshi) on his inside approaching the 1300 Metres causing SUNSTONE (Ahsan Qureshi) to check and fall back.

SUNSTONE (Ahsan Qureshi) sustained a cut injury on left gaskin.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f KLIPSPRINGER.

8th Race: 69. The Kalinadi Plate - Div.I -(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (14 Runners).

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of RECHARGED, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to MONEY BALL (Tauseef Ahmed) on his inside passing the 1300 Metres.

Jockey R.Vaibhav, the rider of AFRICAN QUEEN, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing SAVVY CONCEPT (S. John) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres.

Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of CINNAMON RUSH, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 50 Metres thereby inconveniencing DEEP BLUE SKY (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside.

Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of AFRICAN QUEEN, reported that he could not get a clear run in the final stages of the race due to a closely packed field.

9th Race: 70. The Antaragange Plate (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (13 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to withdraw LOOKS OF ATTITUDE on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on right fore due to sprained tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SURPRISESUCCEEDING (Martin Wepner) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 1000 Metres.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g ARUN.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g NATIVE INDIAN.
