1st Race: 183. The Savadatti Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (11 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to withdraw WHISPERING GALLERY (P. Mulrennan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left hind due to sprained stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
As Jockey J. Fortune, the rider of NABISCO could not arrive on time to fulfill his riding engagement for the above race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to substitute Jockey S. John to ride NABISCO in place of Jockey J. Fortune the declared rider.
BEAUTIFUL LANKAN (Afsar Khan) accidentally stumbled approaching the 850 Metres.
TRADITION (A. Ashok Kumar) sustained a cut injury on right hock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c NABISCO.
2nd Race: 184. The Ilkal Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old & over (10 Runners)
APOLLO KING (M. Noornabi) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the
start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he
must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction
of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on starting gate practice day.
CAMELOT (A. Ashok Kumar) ran detached from the field.
It was reported after the race that CAMELOT (A. Ashok Kumar) burst its blood
vessels. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness
Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of RICH RADIANT, reported that he could
not get a clear run passing the 1000 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g APPOLO KING.
3rd Race: 185. The Chamundi Hill Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of ALL CLEAR, had to check his mount to avoid clipping the heels of the front runner INDIAN (M Rajesh Kumar) whereby WIND TUNNEL (M. Noornabi) travelling directly behind the former had to be checked by its rider who momentarily unbalanced.
Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of SUPERHIT, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not exercising sufficient control over his mount under the use of whip whereby he allowed his mount to drift in sharply towards the rails approaching the 1100 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g INDIAN.
4th Race: 186. The Savadatti Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (12 Runners)
ASSIDUOUS (D. Gnaneshwar) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced PRATHAM (A. Ashok Kumar) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
SOCRATES (J. Fortune) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced PRATHAM (A. Ashok Kumar) on the inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Syed Asgar, the rider of SUMMER GOLD, was fined Rs.2,000/- for suddenly shifting course towards the inside thereby causing interference to LUCKY THIRTEEN (R. Vaibhav) approaching the 200 Metres.
5th Race: 187. The Gaganachukki Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Britto to withdraw SHADES OF SCARLET on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained a bleeding cut injury on left fore pastern. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
As Jockey Vivek, the declared rider of NOVEL APPROACH, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 4th race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to substitute Jockey R. Vaibhav to ride NOVEL APPROACH in place of Jockey Vivek, the declared rider.
SOMERSET ROSE (M. Rajesh Kumar) took a fly jump.
Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of A GAME TO REMEMBER, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of NOVEL APPROACH, was fined Rs..1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
It was reported after the race that ALLADIN (D. Gnaneshwar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
6th Race: 188. The Chamundi Hill Plate - Div.I (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah, to substitute Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh to ride ATTRACTOR in place of Jockey Vivek, the declared rider.
Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of ABSOLUTE JOY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and inconvenienciing WAR ARTIST (Afsar Khan) on his outside in the final 100 Metres of the race.
Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of BOUDICCA, reported that he lost his whip in the final 100 Metres of the race..
GORGEOUS GOLD (S. Mallikarjun) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g LOYAL KING.
7th Race: 189. The Stayers Trial Stakes - (About) 2400 Metres. Indian Horses 4 years old and over at the time of starting (7 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay to substitute Jockey D. Gnaneshwar to ride SPARK OF SILVER in place of Jockey Vivek the declared rider.
MOUNTAIN RANGE (J. Fortune) was extremely fractious inside the gates and refused to remain in the stalls. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
Jockey P. Mulrennan, the rider of NADIA, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to SPEARHEAD (Ryan Marshall) on his outside in the final 100 Metres of the race.
It was reported after the race that GOLDEN VIPER (D.K. Ashish) suffered from exhaustion and was immediately treated for the same.
8th Race: 190. The Hurricane Stud Plate Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (14 Runners)
As Jockey D. Gnaneshwar was certified medically to ride after his ride in the 7th race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal to substitute Jockey R. Vaibhav to ride ARRABIAN GOLD in place of Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the declared rider.
Jockey P. Mulrennan, the rider of FREE LAW, reported that he lost his whip in the final 75 Metres of the race.
Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of ATLAS POWER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
9th Race: 191. The The Smt. Saraswati Sajnani Memorial Trophy (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to substitute Jockey R. Vaibhav to ride INDIAN PRIDE in place of Jockey Vivek, the declared rider.
SOMETHINGDIFFERENT (R. Ramu) accidentally struck the front runner INDIAN PRIDE (R. Vaibhav) and stumbled passing the 900 Metres.
Jockey David Allan, the rider of STELLAR AMBITION, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 200 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey M. Rajesh Kumar, the rider of INDRAVATI, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g WIND AND FLIGHT.
10th Race: 192. The Hurricane Stud Plate Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 5 years old and over (13 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to substitute Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran to ride AZTEC GOLD in place of Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the declared rider.
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of SPARK OF BEAUTY, reported that he could not get a clear run passing 350 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the rider of ASTOUNDING GALLOP, placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of MATIAS, placed I for "in the straight the winner came inside and I had to stop riding in the last 100 Metres which cost me a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to over rule the objection.
WILD NEXUS (P. Mulrennan) sustained cut injury on left hind cannon.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao to the Stewards for contravention of Rule Nos. 114(b)(i), 202(i), 202(vi) of the BTC Rules of Racing and Calendar Notification in matter pertaining to the charge of rider on his charge FRENEMEE in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 22nd December 2012 & 8th February 2013 and examined Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao and Jockey M. Prasad. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to withdraw the Trainer's Licence granted to Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao with effect from 22-2-2013 to 31-3-2013 and fine him a sum of Rs.50,000/- for contravention of Rule Nos. 114(b)(i), 202(i), 202(vi) of the BTC Rules of Racing and Calendar Notification in matter pertaining to the charge of rider on his charge FRENEMEE in the above race.

Prasad to the Stewards for contravention of Rule Nos.202(i) and 202(vi) of the BTC Rules of Racing in matter pertaining to as the declared rider on FRENEMEE in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 22nd December 2012 & 8th February 2013 and examined Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao and Jockey M. Prasad. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to withdraw the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey M. Prasad with effect from 22-2-2013 to 31-3-2013 and fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for contravention of Rule Nos. 202(i) and 202(vi) of the BTC Rules of Racing in matter pertaining to as the declared rider on FRENEMEE in the above race.
TRACK WORK
(i)
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to the Stewards
for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading "carrying of
identification saddle cloth with numbers on horses working on the track or any
part on the premises of the race course" in that as a Trainer of SPEEDY
GIRL his charge trotted on the inner sand track during the morning track work on
18-1-2013 with the wrong track number (367) instead of the allotted track number
(650). The Stewards held enquiry on 8th February 2013 and examined Trainer Mr.
Pradeep Annaiah. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to fine Trainer Mr.
Pradeep Annaiah a sum of Rs.25,000/- for contravention of Calendar Notification
under the heading "carrying of identification saddle cloth with numbers on
horses working on the track or any part on the premises of the race course"
in that as a Trainer of SPEEDY GIRL his charge trotted on the inner sand track
during the morning track work on 18-1-2013 with the wrong track number (367)
instead of the allotted track number (650).

Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was fined Rs.5,000/- for using the services of an unlicensed Riding Boy during morning track work on ……

143, The January Plate-Div.I-(About) 1100 Metres, for Maiden Indian horses 3
years old only.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. John to the Stewards for
Unsatisfactory Riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount
MAN OF VISION. The Stewards held enquiry on 8th February 2013 and examined
Jockey S. John. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the
Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey S. John from 4-3-2013 to 23-3-2013 (both days
inclusive) and should his Jockey's licence be granted for the season 2012-13,
the same shall remain suspended from 18-5-2013 to 29-5-2013 (both days
inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing
on his mount MAN OF VISION in the above race.
EIGHTEENTH DAY, SATURDAY, 19TH JANUARY 2013
151. The Jamuna Plate-(About) 1400 Metres. For horses rated 00 to 25, 5 years
old and over.
(i)
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. John to the Stewards for
Careless Riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount DUMA.
The Stewards held enquiry on 8th February 2013 and examined Jockey S. John.
After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's Licence
granted to Jockey S. John and should his Jockey's licence be granted for the
season 2012-13, the same shall remain suspended from 30-5-2013 to 5-6-2013 (both
days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.5,000/- for Careless Riding Rule
No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount DUMA in the above race.
(ii)
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey B. Sreekanth to the Stewards for
Dangerous Riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount MURIOI.
The Stewards held enquiry on 8th February 2013 and examined Jockey B. Sreekanth.
After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's Licence
granted to Jockey B. Sreekanth from 4-3-2013 to 22-3-2013 (both days inclusive)
and should his Jockey's licence be granted for the season 2012-13, the same
shall remain suspended from 18-5-2013 to 19-5-2013 (both days inclusive) for
Dangerous Riding Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount MURIOI
in the above race.

177. The Lalitmahal Plate-(About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 00 to 25.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. S. Narredu to the Stewards for contravention of Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that for the negligence in discharge of his duties as a licensed Trainer pertaining to weight carried by his charge ONE FROM A BILLION, placed III by the Judge weighed in 600 grams less in relation to weighing out in the above race. The Stewards held enquiry on 8th February 2013 and examined Trainer Mr. S. Narredu, Assistant Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu and Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of ONE FROM A BILLION. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the Trainer's Licence granted to Trainer Mr. S. Narredu from 4-3-2013 to 19-3-2013 (both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for contravention of Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that for the negligence in discharge of his duties as a licensed Trainer pertaining to weight carried by his charge ONE FROM A BILLION, placed III by the Judge weighed in 600 grams less in relation to weighing out in the above race.
178. The Brahmaputra Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated
20 to 45, 5 years old and over.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Vivek to the Stewards for
Unsatisfactory Riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount
YOURE CHILUBULI. The Stewards held enquiry on 9th February 2013 and examined
Jockey Vivek. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's
Licence granted to Jockey Vivek from 22-2-2013 to 15-3-2013 (both days
inclusive) for Unsatisfactory Riding Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing
on his mount YOURE CHILUBULI in the above race.

THIRD DAY, WEDNESDAY, 21ST NOVEMBER, 2012
22. The C.P. Chinnappa Memorial Trophy-Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres. For Horses
rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over.
The Board of Appeal at its Meeting held on Thursday, 7th February 2013 considered the Appeal dated 15-1-2013 filed by Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender against the decision of the Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., in declaring him as a disqualified person under BTC Rules of Racing with effect from 1-2-2013 to 31-7-2013 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Rule No.167(b) (failure of duties as a Trainer); Rule No.114(b)(i) (Negligence and neglect in the conduct and performance of duties as a licensed professional and Rule No.202(vi) &(vii) (tendering false and misleading evidence during enquiries) of the BTC Rules of Racing in connection with running of his charge INDIAN ROYALTY in the above race and the matters arising there from.
The Board noted that the operation of the punishment imposed on Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender had been stayed till the appeal was heard and finally disposed of by it.
The Board considered the following:
a) The Minutes of the Meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club
Ltd., dated 4th December 2012, 12th December 2012 and 19th December 2012.
b) The Minutes of the Meeting of the Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd.,
dated 11th January 2013.
c) The written grounds of appeal submitted by trainer Mr. G.T. Surender dated
4th February 2013.
The Board examined Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender.
After considering the above and after due deliberations, the Board decided to:
(a) Reject the appeal filed by Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender.
(b) Consequently to revise the period of disqualification imposed on Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender in that he shall be a disqualified person under BTC Rules of Racing from 10-2-2013 to 9-8-2013 for contravention of Rule No.167(b) (failure of duties as a Trainer); Rule No.114(b)(i) (Negligence and neglect in the conduct and performance of duties as a licensed professional and Rule No.202(vi) &(vii) (tendering false and misleading evidence during enquiries) of the BTC Rules of Racing in connection with running of his charge INDIAN ROYALTY in the above race and the matters arising there from.
(c) Forfeit the appeal fee paid by Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender.
