1st Race: 257. The Agumbe Plate - Div. II - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners)
Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of REFRESHED, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to MR CHARM (S. Chandrashekar) which in turn passed it on to MAGICAL FILLY (M. Noornabi) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey N. Ganesh, the rider of MY FAVOURITE VOICE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course before passing the red marker post.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of AUTHENTIC STRIKE, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
It was reported after the race that the left hind shoe of MY FAVOURITE VOICE (N. Ganesh) had apparently come off during the race.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of FREE CHOICE to the Stewards for Careless Riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in that he shifted out and took out MY FAVOURITE VOICE (N. Ganesh) on his outside and ENDLESS SOCIETY (P. Ramesh) which was travelling behind struck the former dislodging its rider as a result MAGICAL FILLY (M. Noornabi) which was travelling behind the latter also had to be checked by its rider despite which his mount went over the prostrated horse and rider approaching the 900 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey Khurshad Alam. After deliberations, they decided that should the Jockey's licence be granted to Jockey Khurshad Alam for the year 2013-14, the same shall stand suspended from 18-5-2013 to 25-5-2013 (both days inclusive) for Careless Riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount FREE CHOICE in the above race (permitted to ride work).
ANMOL HIRA (G. Adarsh) sustained cut injury on left hind bulb of heel.
ENDLESS SOCIETY (P. Ramesh) sustained gum injury.
2nd Race: 258. The Magadi Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur to withdraw DANCE OF A GENERAL on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of DEEP BLUE SEA, was fined Rs.2,000/- for allowing his mount to drift out rounding the final bend till about 150 Metres for no apparent reason.
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of ICE STORM, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
Jockey R. Anand, the rider of WIND TUNNEL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 200 Metres of the race.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g ICE STORM.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr f GREYCONNECTION.
3rd Race: 259. The Bhadravathi Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (14 Runners)
APRIL GOLD (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) which was fiercely galloping, struck the front runner TIC TAC TOE (Arshad Alam) and stumbled and fell dislodging its rider and SILVER STREET (Samad) which was travelling directly behind struck the prostrated horse and fell dislodging its rider approaching the 900 Metres.
TIC TAC TOE (Arshad Alam) sustained skin cut (abrasion) injury on right hock.
SUGAR FAIRY (A. Ashhad Asbar) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.
OUR LOVE (Mohammed) Shoaib) sustained cut injury on left fore outer bulb of heel.
APRIL GOLD (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) sustained head injury and fracture on pelvis. Hence it was euthanised.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TRUST ME BOY.
4th Race: 260. The Agumbe Plate - Div. I - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (12 Runners)
YOURESCINTILATING (Vivek) sustained cut injury on right hock.
5th Race: 261. The Makalidurga Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)
As Jockey Samad was certified medically unfit to ride after his fall in the 3rd race, permission was granted to trainer Mr Warren Singh to substitute Jockey A.Vishwanath to ride LADZONE in place of the declared rider.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of BRIGADE'S SUPREME, reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both sides.
Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st infringement).
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of ATTRACTOR, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g INSPIRATOR.
6th Race: 262. The Ashwapriya Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (9 Runners)
ESTEBAN (A. Ashhad Asbar) brushed the gates while jumping out.
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of COURAGE IN RED, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course before passing the red marker post.
Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of COOL APPROACH, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and bumping ESTEBAN (A. Ashhad Asbar) on his inside passing the 200 Metres.
It was reported after the race that CLEVER TRICK (P.S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
7th Race : 263. The Vijayanagar Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners)
LOOKS OF ATTITUDE (Shanth Kumar) planted and lost many lengths at the start and ran detached from the field thereafter. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of FLYING TRICOLOUR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in sharply and cutting across the field before the red marker post.
Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of POINT TAKEN, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to LA JAWAAB (M. Noornabi) before passing the red marker post.
Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of FLYING TRICOLOUR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for allowing his mount to drift out under the use of whip in the final 300 Metres.
It was reported after the race that LOOKS OF ATTITUDE (Shanth Kumar) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
LOYAL KING (N. Rajesh) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f RICH CELEBRATION.
8th Race : 264. The Banavasi Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (13 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey A. Ramu to ride ICE MINT in place of Jockey Samad, the declared rider.
ADONIS (M. Noornabi) was examined at the starting gates by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be lame on left fore due to a sprained fetlock. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
The pacifier Blinker on TOO COLD TO HOLD became loose after jumping out thereby inconveniencing the horse throughout the race. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.3,000/- for not fastening the pacifier blinkers properly in respect of his charge TOO COLD TO HOLD in the above race.
Jockey A Arshad Asbar, the rider of ARUN reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 300 Metres.
9th Race: 265. The Makalidurga Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar to withdraw SIGNIFIES (V.R. Jagadeesh) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained suspensory ligament. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
As Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer V. Narayana Gowda to substitute Jockey G. Adarsh to ride ALIANZ in place of Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu the declared rider.
AFFIRMATOR (P. Trevor) planted, lost many lengths and ran detached thereafter. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.
PERFECT ATTITUDE (Irvan Singh) reared up as the gates opened, got stuck
and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Sharat
Kumar was informed that he must accept with it again until its behaviour
improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on
race days on the race track.
Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of JEWEL LADY was fined Rs.2,000/- for weighing in 900 grams in excess in relation to weighing out.
PERFECT ATTITUDE (Irvan Singh) sustained gum injury.
