1st Race: 129. The Ranganathithu Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners)
Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for contravention of General Condition 5 of the prospectus of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2013-14 in accepting his charge ICECREAM to run in the above race as also in the 8th race of the day. Subsequently it was withdrawn from the above race.
PRAZSKY (Dashrat Singh) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced PRIVATE PARTY (A. Ashok Kumar) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of DOFANTASY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and inconveniencing PRIVATE PARTY (A. Ashok Kumar) on his inside before passing the red marker post.
Jockey Syed Asgar, the rider of SPANISH MOON was reprimanded in presence of trainer Mr. S Padmanabhan for the inept handling of his mount in the above race. He was further cautioned that a similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.
DO FANTASY (Anjar Alam) sustained gum injury.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g DOFANTASY.
2nd Race: 130. The Sriharikota Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (WHIPS NOT ALLOWED) (Terms) (9 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge SHIVALIK EYES (Vinod Shinde). Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of NURAY, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of NURAY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly looking back in the last 300 Metres for no apparent reason.
Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of RUSTIC SUNRISE, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
It was observed that the girth and the breast plate on the left side on NURAY had come off within 100 Metres of the start. After due enquiry trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence as regards proper fastening of the said equipments on his above said charge.
An enquiry is being held into the behaviour of trainer Mr. Neil Darashah soon after the race.
DREAM STAR (S. John) sustained cut injury on left hock.
SIMPLY CLEVER (Fr'co F DaSilva) sustained bleeding cut injury on left knee.

3rd Race: 131. The Ghataprabha Plate - (About) 1400 Metres Horses rated 00
to 25, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of YOURE A STAR, was reprimanded for travelling wide between 600 Metres till rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ROMANS RUN, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
ALL CLEAR (A. Ashok Kumar) sustained gum injury.

4th Race: 132. The Sriharikota Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (WHIPS NOT ALLOWED) (Terms) (10 Runners)
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of FOREST QUEEN trained by Mr. J. Babu Rao (deputized by trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda) and ridden by Jockey C. Harish in the above race.

5th Race: 133. The Nilgiris Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners)
SHAKA ZULU (Irvan Singh) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced VIOLENT STORM (Imran Chisty) on its inside which in turn passed it on to MR AMBASSADOR (P. Kiran Rai) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of MAGNITUDE STAR was fined Rs.1,000/- for cutting across the field and easing his mount approaching the 1200 Metres.
Jockey David Allan, the rider of INVINCIBLE PRINCE, was fined a total sum of Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course between the 300 Metres and 250 Metres of the race and for looking back approaching the final 100 Metres of the race.

6th Race: 134. The Karnakata Police Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (11 Runners)
Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge IRON MARSHALL (David Allan). Subsequently All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of VIRAT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to IRON MARSHALL (David Allan) on his inside passing the 300 Metres.
ESTEBAN (R. Vaibhav) sustained gum injury.
SECRET PUNCH (T.S. Jodha) sustained cut injury on right gaskin.

7th Race: 135. The Kanchanganga Plate - (About) 1400 Metres Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old & over (12 Runners).
Jockey Md. Shoaib, the rider of KING JULIEN was reprimanded for suddenly changing course approaching the 1300 Metres.
An enquiry is being held into the manner of riding of Jockey M. Prabhakaran on his mount FIRELIGHT which resulted in GO GREEN (Vivek) crashing against the false rails passing the 1200 Metres whereby Jockey Vivek was dislodged from his mount in the above race.
GO GREEN (Vivek) sustained bleeding cut injury on right hind cannon, right quarter and deep cut injury on right brisket.

8th Race: 136. The Native Chieftan Plate - (About) 1200 Metres Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old & over (12 Runners).
As Jockey Vivek, the declared rider of MIDTOWN DELIGHT, was certified medically unfit to ride after his fall in the 7th race. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh to substitute Jockey S. Shiva Kumar to ride MIDTOWN DELIGHT in place of Jockey Vivek, the declared rider.
Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of ISLE OF FIRE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to FIRE STORM (Arshad Alam) on his inside which in turn passed it onto PRINCE OF DARKNESS (M. Prabhakaran) approaching the 1000 Metres.
Jockey S Shiva Kumar, the rider of MIDTOWN DELIGHT was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to SUPER SALONI (S John) on his inside passing the 900 Metres.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of GAGAN STAR was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz. ISLE OF FIRE (iIrvan Singh), MIDTOWN DELIGHT (S. Shivakumar) and SUPER SALONI (S. John) approaching the 300 Metres.
It was reported after the race that PRINCE OF DARKNESS (M. Prabhakaran) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SOVIET MELODY (B. Nayak) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.

9th Race: 137. The Ranganathithu Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners)
ONE OF A KIND (Y S Srinath) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. B Puttanna was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one mock race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey K Raja Rao, the rider of SUMMERVILLE was reprimanded for traveling wide from the 700 Metres till rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey Babu Singh, the rider of HAPPY VICTORY was reprimanded in the presence of trainer Mr. F Sirajuddin (deputizing on behalf of trainer Mr. Amit Caddy) for the inept handling of his mount during the race. He was also cautioned that a similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.
Jockey David Allan, the rider of AASHIKARA, reported that his mount was hanging out badly after entering the straight despite his best efforts to keep it on an even course whereby it shifted out and inconvenienced RAKSHITHA (S John) on his outside passing the 300 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S Padmanabhan was informed to take appropriate corrective measure before accepting with it again.
SUMMERVILLE (K Raja Rao) sustained cut injuries on right fore cannon and right hind pastern.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c AASHIKARA.

110. The Horanadu Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S Selvaraj, the rider of FIORITTA
to the Stewards for Contravention of Rule No. 159(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing
on his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 9th January,
2014 and examined Jockey S Selvaraj and Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah, the trainer of the
horse. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) declare Jockey S
Selvaraj, a disqualified person under BTC Rules of Racing with effect from
1-2-2014 to 30-9-2014 (both days inclusive) for Contravention of Rule No. 159(b)
of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount FIORITTA in the above race and (b)
caution trainer Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah to the future running of his charges.
111. The Haveri Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey F K Shabuddin, the rider of
ACCURACY to the Stewards for Contravention of Rule No. 159(b) of the BTC Rules
of Racing on his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 9th
January, 2014 and examined Jockey F K Shabuddin and Mr. S Narredu, the trainer
of the horse. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) declare Jockey F
K Shabuddin, a disqualified person under BTC Rules of Racing with effect from
1-2-2014 to 30-9-2014 (both days inclusive) for Contravention of Rule No. 159(b)
of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount ACCURACY in the above race and (b)
caution trainer Mr. S Narredu to the future running of his charges.
