1st Race: 112. The B.A.R.I. Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners)

WHITE SNOWDROPS (M.D. Praveen) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in on jump out on a Starting Gate Practice day.

It was reported after the race that PENDOLINO (G. Adarsh) pulled up lame on right fore due to a sprained tendon. Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a Starting Gate Practice day.

EXTRA SPARK (V.R. Jagadeesh) sustained gum injury.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CHEDDAR FACE.

2nd Race: 113. The January Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only at the time of starting (Terms) (8 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to withdraw STELLAR LIGHT on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on right fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

EMPEROR CRUISE (S. Chandrashekar) was extremely fractious inside the gates, reared up and got stuck for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Order.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of MAJOR ATTRACTION, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed to take appropriative corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of TURF TACTICS, reported that his mount was inclined to run out between 900 Metres and 500 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
It was observed that NEW EMPEROR, ran out between 800 Metres and 500 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of RED RED ROSE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for repeatedly looking back in the last 300 Metres of the race for no apparent reason and for allowing his mount to brush the false rails in the final stages of the race.

3rd Race: 114. The B.A.R.I. Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners)

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Dominic to withdraw ACE SHINEON on veterinary grounds as it was found to have been suffering from Epistaxis from right nostril due to hit on right face. He was informed that he was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

GREAT SECRET (T.S. Jodha) accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 500 Metres and was checked by its rider as a result the horses travelling behind viz. ENDURANCE (P. Mani) and JERSEY HEIGHTS (A. Ashok Kumar) had to be checked by their respective riders.

Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of NAYAN STAR, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of GREAT SECRET, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of JET SET GO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly looking back in the final stages of the race for no apparent reason.

REAL SHOW (R. Aanand) sustained bleeding cut injury on right arm and right stifle.

4th Race: 115. The K. Rama Rao Memorial Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners)

ACE MESMERISE (M. Noornabi) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced the horses on his outside viz. KAFKA (R. Vaibhav) and ANONYMOUS (S Chandrashekar) soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.

WHISTLE JACKET (P Ramesh) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced the horses on his inside viz. ABBAS DREAMS (G Y Rajesh Babu) and BRIGHT LADY (Saddam Hussain) which in turn passed it onto ANONYMOUS (S Chandrashekar) soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.

Jockey L.P. Beuzelin, the rider of CINCH, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g ARTORIUS.

5th Race: 116. The Chief Minister's Trophy - (About) 2000 Metres. Indian horses 4 years old and over at the time of starting (Terms) (9 Runners).

APOLLO KING (D. Gnaneshwar) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

TURF STRIKER (Y.S. Srinath) accidentally hit the false rails passing the 800 Metres.

TURF STRIKER (Y.S. Srinath) sustained bleeding cut injury on right stifle.

PERFECT SOUL (T.S. Jodha) sustained cut injury on right fore inner bulb of heel and coronet.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c AGOSTINI.

6th Race : 117. The Taj Stud Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 5 years old and over at the time of starting (11 Runners).

CATAMARAN (A. Vishwanath) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced RICH CELEBRATION (A.R. Pradeep) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey M.A. Roushan, the rider of MR CARPE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference THOUGHTS N ACTIONS (B. Harish) on his outside passing the 800 Metres.

Jockey P Kiran Rai, the rider of FRENEMEE and Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of VALAHAK were fined Rs.2,000/- each for bumping against each other between the 1000 Metres and 900 Metres.

7th Race: 118. The Amber Regent Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners)

Jockey A. Vishwanath the rider of ZAGATO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to MANTRA (Imran Chisty) on his inside in the final 100 Metres of the race.

MY LAW (B. Nayak) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

REBUTTAL'S HOPE (T.S. Jodha) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of DISTINCTIVE was fined Rs.3,000/- for suddenly shifting out and taking out the horses on his outside viz. MY LAW (B Nayak) and REBUTTAL'S HOPE (T S Jodha) passing the 1200 Metres.

8th Race : 119. The Taj Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 5 years old and over at the time of starting (11 Runners).

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of AMAZING REDD reported that he lost his whip passing the 200 Metres.

It was reported after the race that SMITHSONITE (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

101. The Kehlan Stud Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 4 year old and over.

(a)

After due enquiry into the manner of running and riding of b c FRENEMEE, and examining trainer Mr. J Babu Rao and Jockey Shanth Kumar it was decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by Jockey J Babu Rao (b) fine Jockey Shanth Kumar a sum of Rs.2,000/- for not keeping a straight course soon after the start thereby inconveniencing the horses on his inside

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of ETHOPHIAN to the Stewards for Dangerous Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] in that (a) for coming in and tightening the horses on his inside viz. REAL STEEL (Imran Chisty) and WIND TUNNEL (Indrajeet Singh) before passing the red marker post; (b) for shifting in and causing interference to NOVEL APPROACH (S John) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres; (c) for suddenly shifting in and intimidating the horses on his inside viz. LAD STAR (Arshad Alam) and SHIVALIK FIRE (Indrajeet Singh) as a result of which the former brushed the false rails and OPEN PAGE (Y S Srinath) travelling behind had to be checked by its rider approaching the 950 Metres and (d) for again shifting out and taking out NOVEL APPROACH (S John) on his outside which in turn took out DIAMONITE (Suraj Narredu) on the far side passing the 900 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry on 4th January, 2014 and examined Jockey Tauseef Ahmed. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey Tauseef Ahmed from 14-1-2014 to 8-2-2014 (both days inclusive) for Dangerous Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount ETHOPHIAN in the above race (permitted to ride work).

(a)

105. The Kemmangundi Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 .

ROYAL ROMARIO (C Harish) ran detached last. Since this horse had run unplaced in its last eight starts and today in its ninth start it ran last clocking more than one second as compared to the second last placed horse in the above race, trainer Mr. J Babu Rao was informed that this horse will be allowed to participate only in one more race under BTC Rules of Racing with a pre condition that it will not be permitted to race under BTC Rules of Racing in case this horse fails to place First, Second, Third or Fourth in its next run i.e tenth run.

110. The Horanadu Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over.

After due enquiry into the manner of riding of Jockey A R Pradeep on his mount JAANVI and after duly examining Jockey A R Pradeep, trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan and Jockey San.Kumar Paswan (ASTONISHING). Jockey A R Pradeep was fined Rs.3,000/- for the extravagant use of the whip on his mount JAANVI in the above race whereby he hit Jockey San. Kumar Paswan, the rider of ASTONISHING on his outside passing the 300 Metres.

111. The Haveri Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey A R Pradeep, the rider of SWEET N SMART to the Stewards for Unsatisfactory Riding [Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing] in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 4th January, 2014 and examined trainer Mr. S Ganapathy and Jockey A R Pradeep. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. S Ganapathy and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey A R Pradeep from 14-1-2014 to 29-1-2014 (both days inclusive) for Unsatisfactory Riding [Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount SWEET N SMART in the above race (permitted to ride work).
