1st Race: 26. The Hemavathi Cup - Dvi.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
As Jockey N. Rajesh, the declared rider of KIMORA was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand to substitute Jockey M.A. Roushan to ride KIMORA in place of Jockey N. Rajesh, the declared rider.
FEET ON FIRE (Arshad Alam) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SPIRITOFCHARTWELL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for cutting across the field before passing the red marker post.
Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of NOBLE PRINCESS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for
coming in and causing interference to REBUTTAL'S HOPE (R. Bharath) which in turn
passed it on to FREE WILL (B. Harish)
on his inside before passing the red marker post.
Jockey M.A. Roushan, the rider of KIMORA, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 1100 Metres.
Trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge CRESCENCIA in the above race (1st infringement).
OCEANIC WIND (P. Kiran Rai) sustained cut injury on right fore fetlock.

2nd Race: 27. The Novice Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms) (9 Runners).
In a closely packed field rounding the bend approaching the 900 Metres LITTLE BROWN JUG (Imran Chisty) suddenly shied inwards and inconvenienced SHREWD MASTER (B. Sreekanth) along the rails which had to be checked by its rider.
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SALTORO RIDGE, reported that he lost his whip in the final 150 Metres of the race.
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SALTORO RIDGE, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The Horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. J S Dhariwal was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of BLACK ARECA, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The Horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

3rd Race: 28. The Chintamani Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners).
BALANCE OF NATURE (P. Kiran Rai) took a fly jump.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of EXTRA SPARK, reported that his mount was running out throughout the race and in the process it took out MAGIC MONEY (A. Ashok Kumar) on its outside passing the 900 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of BIG COPPER PENNY, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing GAGAN STAR (Ajeet Kumar) on his outside in the final 100 Metres of the race.
Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of TIGER EYES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of TIGER EYES, (trained by Mr. Sharat Kumar) and ridden by Jockey S. Mallikarjun in the above race.
EXTRA SPARK (Arshad Alam) sustained severe bleeding cut injury on left hind coronet and hoof.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FORTUNATE ONE.
4th Race: 29. The Belgaum Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of ABBAS DREAMS, was reprimanded for traveling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of ARUN, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of VOLANS, was reprimanded for dropping hands
before passing the winning post.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of BANK ON ME, was reprimanded for riding an
indifferent race.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of IGAH IGAH IGAH trained by Mr. B. Prithviraj and ridden by Jockey P. Kiran Rai in the above race.
STARSTRUCK (S. Mallikarjun) sustained a cut injury on left hock.

5th Race: 30. The Hemavathi Cup - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
TRANSFORMER (Arshad Alam) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of BLUES LEGEND, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of TRANSFORMER, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that KENTUCKY ROSE (M. Prabhakaran) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f PACIFIC BLUE.
6th Race: 31. The Huthari Festival Plate -(About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Narredu to withdraw DEEP BLUE SEA on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained suspensory. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand to substitute Jockey M.A. Roushan to ride BLUE STAR in place of Jockey N. Rajesh, the declared rider.
Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge HILLTON (Tauseef Ahmed). Subsequently All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g HILLTON.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f ZERMATT.
7th Race: 32. The Kempegowda Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (8 Runners).
Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of ABSOLUTE MAJORITY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for unnecessarily calling out during the race for no apparent reason.
An enquiry is being held into the manner of riding of Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of ARISTOS in the above race.
ARISTOS (Ryan Marshall) sustained cut injury on right hock.

8th Race: 33. The Bidar Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of IRISH SONG, reported that he could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the starting gates due to the crowding of the field.
Jockey C. Harish, the rider of MAGIC WAVE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to WINGS OF FORTUNE (B. Sreekanth) which in turn passed it on to IRISH SONG (Suraj Narredu) on his outside soon after jumping out the starting gates.
