1st Race : 18. The Mount Joy Plate - Div. II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners).
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of WHITE SNOWDROPS, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar and Jockey Y.S. Srinath were questioned regarding the poor performance of ANOTHER VOICE. The trainer stated that (a) his charge was working well in the morning trials; (b) it was running in a relatively poor company; (c) as such at the instance of the owner of the horse he declared a better rider; (d) but ….. to his expectation it performed very poorly in the race. The rider while corroborating the statement of the trainer added that he had got this ride just before the declarations and he did his best but the response from the horse was poor. Their explanations were noted.

2nd Race : 19. The Beginners Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (8 Runners).
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of JERSEY BRIDE, was reprimanded for looking back approaching the 200 Metres for no apparent reason.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f JERSEY BRIDE.
3rd Race : 20. The Mount Joy Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners).
ENDLESS SOCIETY (T.S. Jodha) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
It was reported after the race that CARTAGENA (M. Prabhakaran) burst its blood vessel during the race. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

4th Race: 21. The Krishnaraja Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (9 Runners).
Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of KLIPSPRINGER, reported that he could not get a clear run at the start due to crowding of the field.
Jockey S. John, the rider of CAPE FERRAT, was fined Rs.5,000/- for coming in and causing very severe interference to INQUISITION (Vinod Shinde) which in turn passed it on to CECIL (P. Trevor) on his inside before passing the red marker post. He was further informed that repetition of similar manner of riding will entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.
Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of FIELD MARSHAL, was fined Rs.5,000/- for coming in and causing very severe interference to the horses on his inside viz. SECRET PUNCH (Suraj Narredu) and RICH CELEBRATION (P.S. Chouhan) before passing the red marker post. He was further informed that repetition of similar manner of riding will entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.

5th Race: 22. The Malaprabha Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
As Jockey P. Kiran Rai was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey M. Prabhakaran to ride MOUNTAIN TRAIN in place of Jockey P. Kiran Rai the declared rider.
Jockey Babu Singh, the rider of SOMETHINGDIFFERENT, was fined Rs.2,000/- for suddenly shifting out passing the 800 Metres whereby ACTIVE GREY (Arshad Alam) clipped the heels of SOMETHINGDIFFERENT (Babu Singh) and stumbled and the rider got totally unbalanced and was dislodged from his mount.
Jockey Afsar, the rider of LIVING LEGEND, was reprimanded for shifting in and causing interference to TRUMAN (Imran Chisty) on his inside approaching the 200 Metres.
Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of MOUNTAIN TRAIN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for completely easing his mount in the final 200 Metres of the race.
It was reported after the race that LITTLE LION (Suraj Narredu) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

6th Race: 23. The Air Force Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).
BALLANTOY (Ryan Marshall) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled despite all efforts. Under the circumstances it was withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders. In view of its continued behaviour, trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour informed to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one practice jump out and one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
PLACERVILLES GLORY (A. Sandesh) was extremely fractious, reared up and got stuck in the gates for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starters orders.
PLACERVILLES GLORY (A. Sandesh) sustained injury on both fore cannon.
COOLMORE (P. Trevor) sustained an injury on back and bone of tail.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g AMBITIOUS REWARD.
7th Race : 24. The Master Key Plate- (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj to substitute Jockey M Prabhakaran to ride BALAS DREAM in place of Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the declared rider.
SOMEONE SPECIAL (R. Bharath) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr,. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of BALAS DREAM, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to ARYAN WARRIOR (Ryan Marshall) which in turn passed it on to PETER PARKER (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside before passing the red marker post.
Jockey R. Bharath, the rider of SOMEONE SPECIAL, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 400 Metres.
PETER PARKER (Y.S. Srinath) sustained gum injury and lost single incisor.

8th Race: 25. The Trombay Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda to withdraw ETHOPHIAN (Tauseef Ahmed) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to sprained splint. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
KING OF HEROES (R. Bharath) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced IMPERIAL VERSE (B. Harish) on his inside soon after jumping out of starting gates.
