1st Race: 78. The Sovereign Crown Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).
Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of OCEANIC WIND, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 350 Metres due to a closely packed field.
OCEANIC WIND (M. Prabhakaran) was impounded for veterinary examination. After examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer it was reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Hence trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f MASKED MARVEL.
2nd Race : 79. The Parfait Amour Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (7 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw SOUTHERN MASTER on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to sprained suspensory. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey San. Kumar Paswan, the rider of BROWNIE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SPANISH FLY (Suraj Narredu) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of TAYLOR MADE, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 700 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SPANISH FLY, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g SPANISH FLY.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f DANCE WITH ME.
3rd Race : 80. The Harangi Plate - Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40
to 65, 4 years old and over (8 Runners).
KILIMANJARO (C. Harish) after jumping out, swerved towards left, went on to the outer sand track and did not take practical part in the race. In view of its continued unpredictable behaviour at the start, Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was informed that he should not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least Two Mock Races on race days on the race track and after getting qualified as above, should the horse exhibit such a behaviour in its next run, the entry of this horse to race under the BTC Rules of Racing will not be accepted thereafter.

4th Race: 81. The Sovereign Crown Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).
Jockey Fr'co F DaSilva, the rider of GOLDEN PRINCESS, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course between 700 Metres and 600 Metres.
Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the rider of JEYEM'S PRIDE, reported that his mount ran out despite his efforts thereby inconveniencing VIGOROUS (Suraj Narredu) on his outside passing the 700 Metres. The horse was impounded veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c KING OF THE COURT.
5th Race : 82. The Dariya Daulat Cup - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (8 Runners).
As Jockey Vivek, the declared rider of RAPHIRE was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to substitute Jockey Amyn Merchant to ride RAPHIRE, in place of Jockey Vivek, the declared rider.
RAPHIRE (Amyn Merchant) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of AUBURN BEAUTY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for suddenly changing course towards the inside passing the 150 Metres.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of AUBURN BEAUTY was fined Rs.1,000/- for repeatedly looking back before passing the winning post.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f AUBURN BEAUTY.
6th Race : 83. The Harangi Plate - Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to
65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Samar Singh to substitute Jockey R. Vaibhav to ride ROSHAN STAR in place of Jockey Vivek, the declared rider.
Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of AMAZON BAY, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of SAMARA SUN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m NESSIE.
7th Race : 84. The Dr. P. Dayananda Pai & & P.Satish Pai Bangalore 2000 Guineas (Grade II) - (About) 1600 Metres. For 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2010) (9 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for failing
to declare his charge ALWAYS REMEMBERING to start for this race after having
accepted with it.
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of TURF STRIKER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

8th Race: 85. The Bangarpet Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners)
As Jockey M. Noornabi, the declared rider of FREE CHOICE was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 4th race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Britto to substitute Jockey Saddam Hussain to ride FREE CHOICE in place of Jockey M. Noornabi, the declared rider.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUMMER SENSATION, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and inconveniencing THUNDER (C. Harish) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey A. Vishwanath, the rider of LEPTON PENNATUS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and inconveniencing REGAL SOLDIER (V.R. Jagadeesh) on his inside which in turn passed it on to SUMMER SENSATION (Suraj Narredu) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
WING COMMANDER (David Allan) planted and did not take part in the race. In
view of its continued unpredictable behaviour at the start, Trainer Mr. S.
Padmanabhan was informed that he should not accept with it again until its
behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least
Two Mock Races on race days on the race track and after getting qualified as
above, should the horse exhibit such a behaviour in its next run, the entry of
this horse to race under the BTC Rules of Racing will not be accepted
thereafter.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of EMANCIPATION, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to BENEDICT (Vinod Shinde) on his inside passing the 950 Metres.
DREAM RUNNER (M Prabhakaran) ran detached last. Since this horse has run unplaced in its last eight starts and today in its ninth start it ran last clocking more than one second as compared to the second last placed horse in the above race, trainer Mr. J Babu Rao was informed that this horse will be allowed to participate only in one more race under BTC Rules of Racing with a pre condition that it will not be permitted to race under BTC Rules of Racing in case this horse fails to place First, Second, Third or Fourth in its next run i.e tenth run.
Jockey V R Jagadeesh, the rider of REGAL SOLDIER was questioned as to the handling of his mount in the above race. He was informed that in view of the fact that he had won the race no further action was taken but for which he would have been appropriately dealt with.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g REGAL SOLDIER.
9th Race: 86. The Infants Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (WHIPS NOT ALLOWED) (Terms) (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan to substitute Jockey Saddam Hussain to ride ALPINE FAIRY in place of Jockey M. Noornabi the declared rider.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan to substitute Amyn Merchant to ride MYSTICAL SHADOW in place of Jockey Vivek the declared rider.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f WEST SIDE

148. The Mysore Derby 2013 (Grade I) (About) 2000 Metres. For 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2010)
The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their meeting held on 13th December 2013 considered the appeal dated 28-11-2013 filed by Jockey S. John against the decision of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., in suspending his Jockey's Licence from 7-12-2013 to 18-12-2013 and fining him a sum of Rs.5,000/- for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount PERFECT SOUL in the above race. The Stewards noted that the effective date of punishment has been revised as "16-12-2013 to 25-12-2013".
The Stewards examined Jockey S. John.
After repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the race, considering the written grounds of appeal and the oral submission made by the Jockey concerned before them and after due deliberations the Stewards decided as follows:
(a) to reject the appeal filed by Jockey S. John;
(b) consequently to suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey S. John from 23-12-2013 to 3-1-2014 (both days inclusive - permitted to ride work);
(c) to forfeit the appeal fee of Rs.2,500/- paid by Jockey S. John;

39. The Kabini Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 4 years old and over
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of
MAGNITUDE STAR to the Stewards for Careless Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC
Rules of Racing] in that he came in sharply and caused interference to the
horses on his inside viz. MI AMOR (Arshad Alam) and VALAHAK (B.L. Paswan) along
the rails within the first 120 Metres of the start. The Stewards held an enquiry
on 13th December 2013 and examined Jockey Y.S. Srinath. After deliberations, the
Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey Y.S. Srinath
from 23-12-2013 to 1-1-2014 (both days inclusive) for Careless Riding [Rule No.
161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount MAGNITUDE STAR in the above race
(permitted to ride work).

46. The Gangavathi Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of
SCORCHING VULCAN to the Stewards for Careless Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC
Rules of Racing] in that he shifted out and caused severe interference to
CHEDDAR FACE (M. Ravi) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres. The Stewards
held an enquiry on 13th December 2013 and examined Jockey Suraj Narredu. After
deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's licence granted to
Jockey Suraj Narredu from 23-12-2013 to 28-12-2013 (both days inclusive) for
Careless Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount
SCORCHING VULCAN in the above race (permitted to ride work).

66. The Hyderabad Silver Vase - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of NICKEL
CHROME to the Stewards for Careless Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of
Racing] in that he allowed his mount to shift out under the use of whip and
caused severe interference to JERSEY SHORE (Y.S. Srinath) moving from behind and
to CHASE THE SUN (A. Sandesh) on his outside passing the 250 Metres of the race.
The Stewards held an enquiry on 13th December 2013 and examined Jockey P.S.
Chouhan. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's
licence granted to Jockey P.S. Chouhan from 23-12-2013 to 1-1-2014 (both days
inclusive) for Careless Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules] of Racing on
his mount NICKEL CHROME in the above race (permitted to ride work).
66. The Hyderabad Silver Vase - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of
ZULTANITE to the Stewards for Careless Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules
of Racing] in that he came across causing interference to SKY TRAIN (Saddam
Hussain) on his inside passing the 300 Metres and for cutting across and causing
interference to CHASE THE SUN (A. Sandesh) on his inside approaching the final
100 Metres which in turn passed it on to NICKEL CHROME (P.S. Chouhan). The
Stewards held an enquiry on 14th December 2013 and examined Jockey Anjar Alam.
After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's licence
granted to Jockey Anjar Alam from 24-12-2013 to 3-1-2014 (both days inclusive)
for Careless Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount
ZULTANITE in the above race (permitted to ride work).
67. The Dharwar Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of
HIMAVARI to the Stewards for Careless Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules
of Racing] in that he allowed his mount to shift out causing interference to the
horses on his outside viz. LUC DIVINE (M. Prabhakaran) (drawn 2), ACE SHINEON (T.S.
Jodha) (drawn 3), DANUBE (R. Vaibhav) (drawn 4), ALWAYS REMEMBERING (P. Mani)
(drawn 5) and ORIENTAL BELLE (Nassar Alam) (drawn 6) soon after jumping out of
the starting gates. The Stewards held an enquiry on 14th December 2013 and
examined Jockey Imran Chisty. After repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the
race and considering the abnormal behaviour of the horse HIMAVARI (Imran Chisty)
at the start and after due deliberations, the Stewards decided to give Jockey
Imran Chisty the benefit of a very grave doubt in this instance and cautioned
him to be extremely careful in future.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of DELILAH to the Stewards for Unsatisfactory Riding [Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing] in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on Monday, 9th December 2013 and examined Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy and Jockey K. Raja Rao. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) caution Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy as to the future running of his charges and in particular selection of riders for his charges and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey K. Raja Rao from 19-12-2013 to 3-1-2014 (both days inclusive) for Unsatisfactory Riding [Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount DELILAH in the above race (permitted to ride work).

48. The Hoysala Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of DIVINE DELIVERENCE to the Stewards for Careless Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] in the above race; in that he came in sharply and caused interference to the horses on his inside viz. SMOOTH GLIDER (H.G. Rathod), CRISTOFFE (Ryan Marshall) and WIND WONDER (Suraj Narredu) before passing the red marker post and for again shifting out and causing interference to WIND WONDER (Suraj Narredu) on his outside approaching the 200 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry on Monday, 9th December 2013 and examined Jockey M. Prabhakaran. After deliberations the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey M. Prabhakaran from 19-12-2013 to 21-12-2013 (both days inclusive) for Careless Riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount DIVINE DELIVERENCE in the above race (Permitted to ride work).
