Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners). Trainer Mr. J Babu Rao was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for Contravention of General Condition 5 of the Prospectus of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2013-14 in accepting his charge PENDOLINO to run in the above race and also in another race on the same day. As Jockey Ajeet Kumar could not arrive in time to fulfill his riding engagement for the above race due to reason beyond his control, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Warren Singh to substitute Jockey A. Vishwanath to ride RAJA'S PET in place of Jockey Ajeet Kumar, the declared rider. Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of BURDEN OF LADY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SIMRA (Saddam Hussain) on his inside which in turn passed it on to SEGOMO (A.R. Pradeep)along the rails passing the 1000 Metres. Jockey A. Vishwanath, the rider of RAJA'S PET, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres. RAJA'S PET (A Vishwanath) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon. It was reported after the race that RAJA'S PET (A. Vishwanath) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy - Grade III). Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Hanumantharaj Memorial Cup - Div.II -(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners). Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw ENTERTAINER (T.S. Jodha) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed elbow joint. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. SUPER SURPRISE (B. Harish) after jumping out, swerved towards left and did not raise a fluent gallop during the early stages of the race and ran detached after entering the straight. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. Noornabi) slipped from both the hind and stumbled passing the 750 Metres and had to be checked by its rider; as a result BEL ESPRIT (Indrajeet Singh) and JET SET GO (D. Gnaneshwar) travelling behind had to be checked by their respective riders. Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of ONE FROM A BILLION, was fined Rs.3,000/- for boring CHEDDAR FACE (Irvan Singh) on his outside in final 150 Metres of the race. Vaibhav) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. SUTTON PRINCE (M. Noornabi) took a fly jump and ran detached last. Since this horse has run unplaced in its last eight starts and today in its ninth start it ran last clocking more than one second as compared to the second last placed horse in the above race, trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that this horse will be allowed to participate only in one more race under BTC Rules of Racing with a pre condition that it will not be permitted to race under BTC Rules of Racing in case this horse fails to place First, Second, Third or Fourth in its next run i.e tenth run. Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of CIELO SIGNORE was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out WILL STAR (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside which in turn took out SAMARA SUN (R. Vaibhav) on the far side approaching the 650 Metres. It was reported after the race that VOLCANO (S. Babu) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. S. Sandesh, the rider of CHASE THE SUN, placed 3rd by the Judge objected against Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of ZULTANITE, placed 2nd for "in the last 200 Metres ZULTANITE interfered with me and thereafter came on to me in the last 100 Metres which cost me a certain 2nd place". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
